Fidel does excellent work when it comes to braiding—her skills are top-notch, and the finished product always looks amazing. However, reliability is a huge issue. She constantly makes appointments but is always late, often without any explanation or consideration for her clients' time. If you have a flexible schedule and a lot of patience, you might be able to deal with the delays. But if you value punctuality and professionalism, this may not be the best place for you. Great braids, but poor time management!

Amazing service and braids. I go for myself and for my daughter. They hit it out of the ballpark every time. They are not overpriced and work extremely quickly. Highly recommend!! Sondo and her team are literally the best!

Best african hair braiders! My braids are always neat and my braider always checks in to make sure my hair is exactly how I like it. She does it over if the braid or styles isn’t how I want it and that’s hard to find. Highly recommend.

I have been coming here for several years and the work is always excellent, I don’t have long waiting times and the braids are affordable. I have mainly worked with Sondo and she has always been available to assist me with her team.

I've been coming to Mrs. Sondo for almost 11 years after I graduated college. Not only were they very welcoming and warm, but great professionals as well. This was the first page I let touch or even braid my hair and since then, the only place where I will let anyone braid my hair. Whatever style you are looking for, they can and will do their best. I live in DC/NYC and travel alot. She's always accommodating and that is a very big plus for me. My hair journey has been great! She, the ladies, never NEVER disappoint. Any style you want or think of, they are capable and professional to do!! Shame on me for never giving her a review or even posting my pictures!!

Great experience. Didn’t have to wait around. My braider started right away. She had other girls help her so I was out of there in 3 hours instead of 5-6. My knotless braids look great and they were done really well so I feel like they’ll last a while. The price was also reasonable. Would definitely recommend!

The knotless braids are so gooood here yall. I came in in the afternoon and still got stellar service! The braiders are talented, attentive and responsive, especially if you come with a photo of what you want! They're great!!

Does not follow instructions !!! I asked for knotless medium small braids and they did not listen. Acted like they were doing knotless in the back but wasn’t !!! And I gave them a picture for reference like don’t say you can do something and you can’t being money hungry. Also another thing , if they think you’re a new customer they like to take you outside and ask your price after they “start” your hair. Will never get my business again, I have a head condition and had to get the braids removed immediately so I wouldn’t get migraines because they don’t listen.

I've been coming here for over a year and they always finish my braids very fast. I moved to New Jersey last year and I still make the commute because of how quick and neat my braids are. They also can do all latest instagram designs.

Everytime I come get my hair done they do my hair to perfection. They are very sweet and welcoming. They are also very fast and efficient I would recommend to everybody and the prices are reasonable

The work ethic at this place is great. The woman who owns the place seems to care about her employees and that her customers are getting what they want. I got twists, and I really liked the result! I have a feeling it will last me a long while as well.

I will no be returning. It was so unprofessional. Go at your own risk. I do not recommend. When I went the braider wanted to do what she wanted to do with my hair. I called to speak with the owner prior to coming. I spoke about what I wanted but she changed things up once I got there. Because I was pressed on time I didn’t leave but if you have any other option to get your hair done — choose that. There plenty other great ones on 125 and I’ll give them a try next time.
