I came to this salon after so many disappointments, feeling hopeless that no one could truly understand my hair. Then I met Jill! She was professional, attentive, and really listened to my concerns. She not only gave me a beautiful haircut and style but also helped me embrace my natural waves and showed me an easy method to recreate the look at home. Ebony is the best! I go to her for both coloring and cuts, and I can’t recommend her highly enough. She’s consistently amazing. When I’m unsure about what to do with my hair, she asks the right questions and comes up with fresh, flattering ideas that leave me feeling beautiful. She also provides the best tips on hair care, products, and styling that match my low-maintenance routine. Ebony makes every visit a joy, and I always look forward to my appointments with her!

I have been searching for a new stylist and was so lucky to get the last available appointment with Jill before the holidays! The salon itself is very cute and inviting and the staff are all so pleasant. Jill made me feel so comfortable as we did the initial consultation to go over gloss and cut. I was going for a pretty big chop, around 4 inches or so. She was so informative, patient, and made sure I fully understood how my hair would turn out both cut and color-wise. I could not be happier with the final look!

Made my appointment for 8:30am and Ebony was there ready to go. She made sure to understand exactly what I wanted. Everyone at the salon was welcoming and friendly. Ebony gave me a beautiful blowout and styling with heat tools and took the time to explain how to “fluff” before my event that evening. I highly recommend Ebony. She’s fantastic!

Laurie is an excellent hairdresser! I love my haircut, Laurie was patient, attentive, listened to all my concerns, gave a few suggestions and wasn’t put off by my very long hair(just above the knee). It has been a very enjoyable experience and will be seeing her going forward. Thank you Laurie!

My first visit to Union Beauty was great! Jill listened to my hair concerns and I loved the advice she provided for styling my new hair length. I loved that she tried out different products on my hair while she dried and styled— it really helped me visualize how I want my hair to look when I’m styling it myself!

Amy is amazing. I was so nervous coming to a new stylist after moving to NYC a couple weeks ago and Amy’s approach to the cut and her personality in general put me at total ease. I’m so so happy to find my NYC stylist on my first try! And my shag cut is GORGE. Thanks for making me look so good, Amy! I’ll def be back!

Ebony is spectacularly talented and always listens to my requests. I adore how attractive and natural she makes my color look. It grows out really well, too, and always looks good at every stage. Union Beauty is simply a wonderful salon. It’s a safe, well run, calming sanctuary, with top notch service and thoughtful COVID-19 protocols which the staff is vigilant about practicing. The salon has two separate rooms which can accommodate clients safely and comfortably. Stylist Laurie is a cutting and color expert with over 20 years of experience who I highly recommend. The Euphora and EVO products the salon uses are excellent, and specifically chosen to benefit your specific hair type.
