Royal Roots Hair Care [Latresha] I was not going to write another review until my character was attacked as she's trying to rebuttal my picture of her work. I was early and read a book during my appointment while she was watched tv. I could not see my hair nor the style until she finished. 1 mirror in her space which was to my back. I paid for small/medium what I received was HUGE. I only booked as she was recommended by someone at church and my stylist is on maternal leave. Not only was the style not what I paid for. I never attacked her as a person. I paid in full with no tip. I did leave abruptly after I saw my hair and questioned tge size, she shrugged me off like there was no problem. She kept sweeping to be exact. I will not argue. I paid her 180 went next door to get change as I refused to tip her. By the time I got cash she charged my card $5. Not a problem in my book at all. I was and am upset as I wasted time and money. Because of her attack on my character I have filed a grievance with BBB and FL licensing board. You look at the picture and tell me if those are small/medium plaits. Not even as pictured on her site. Good day Latresha. You can't do people wrong and think it's okay. You are correct, you're not the stylist for everyone. ***** According to FL DBPR, no active license on file by stylist name nor her salon. As of 5/17/21 @9:05A ****** I appreciate your response (Unique Salon.) I have already contacted the BBB & FL DBPR regarding her service and now character assassination. I am also aware of the licensing leniency during the pandemic that is still in effect. This review as any other is for someone that is looking and is not aware. Again, I only booked as she was recommended and I saw the exact style on someone I know and trust. Thank you ‐------- Another stylist saw the picture and braided my hair in the EXACT style I paid for 7 days prior. Picture posted below.

I saw Tiffany today I really like my hair I just relocated here from St Louis MO and was looking for someone that knew how to handle natural hair I found her on Yelp her reviews were right I have also made my next appointment with her.

This building has many different small businesses within it. Several stylist from all walks of life with amazing skills. From barbers to locticians it seems to have a little bit of everything. Great location overall.

This review is not for the shop its for the stylist Carla that works out of this shop. She is very unprofessional. She did my plaits almost on 09/18/20 and the next day 3 of my plaits hot lose and fell out. I called her the next day she did them over. 3 days later they get lose again and very upset. So on 10/02/20 half of my plaits in the back fell out so I texted her ask can she fix them and when no response. So today 10/06/20 I sent a text again bc im really mad now bc a plait fell out in Publix. So replied back very rude bc I told her as a stylist if you dont agree on what the client may want to suggest other options and she tells me im grown she don't have to tell.me anything. She correct I am grown and you're my stylist if you think I should have smaller plaits say so. She was very argumentative with me. She is propably the reason this shop got 1 star

Nikki did an awesome job with my Dominican Blowout. My hair looked bouncy & healthy after her protein treatment.
