Found Dari on instagram and her shop is a good location in phx. She’s really good about getting you in and out, and she had fair prices. I’ve gone back multiple times.

I am very dissatisfied with my braids by Lexy aka Lexx__thestylist. Not only are my braids sloppy but they are sticky from all the product she put in my hair. None of my braids are the same length because she did not feed hair to the braid to make sure they all of came to my butt, even though she charged me an additional $80 for butt length. The pics were taken maybe 30 minutes after I got my hair done. Not only are the uneven in length but uneven in size. As you can see the the pic, the top is super thick and as she braided down they are lumpy and a hot mess. It looks like a child played in my head. I DO NOT recommend Lexy for braids or any other hairstyle.

I’ve been coming to Unity Braids for four years. Alexa has been braiding my hair for the past two years. She does a wonderful job and when they moved their shop I followed her to their new locations because of how good she is at what she does.

Never go to place, they don't know how service loc, or usage products that will break your hair. They steal your money.

Zanaya did an excellent job braiding my niece hair. She made her comfortable she was patient with her. I was very please because no one would do her hair because she is tinder headed.

I have been a client at Unity Braids and Beauty for years and they never disappoint. Dari is my stylist of choice but I trust all stylist as I've seen the work they do. Dari is professional while also being personable. My hair last well past the norm and I always have a great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

I recently moved to Arizona from California and I got sooo lucky finding this shop/my braider Dari!! Dari and her amazing The co stylist made me feel right at home right away and I’ve left her chair 100% satisfied Every time! not to mention the prices being so reasonable and they always have a sale going or an event going I just love that they give back!!! Definitely stick with me 😇

I went to get my hair in knotless for the first time by the owner Dari and she was so sweet and professional she was quick especially for my head being big as it is and she made me feel very welcomed she smelled good as well She did blonde knotless on me I was unsure how they would look and she reassured me that they would be nice on me so I allowed her to not only take the wheel and be creative and she did an amazing job I have received so many compliments especially with me being an influencer my hair is looked at and critiqued on a daily basis and so many people complimented me in person and online on my braids and because of Dari I fell in love with not just the color but KNOTLESS braids Doing what Dari told me to do to keep my Knotless braids up and neat my braids lasted 3 1/2 months

I went to get my nails done by the one and only @laluzlux as I had. A last min function to attend and it was a last min appointment and she was able to Accommodate my last minute request. Her Customer service was great. I wasn’t sure what I really wanted as I came in with a few different ideas. She worked with me on what would look better and made it happen. She also finishes in a timely manner and we were able to also fit a great dry pedicure in with acrylic toes.. it was amazing service great price and comfortable location. I found my future nail tech. 🔥💅🏻

Its the nail tech for me!! When i tell u every single time i ask for something she always gets down exactly how i ask for it. Bling it out or keeping it simple shes always gunna pop off. Let me also mention the customer service and flexibility is top tier and dont worry, she keeps ur secrets safe lol ask her to do ur nails on a handstand while twerking to city girls, she gon do it 😂 kidding lol Symerah will get u right tho.

Jae was amazing. I went here to get a silk press for my 30th, and she really knew how to take care of my hair. I got it done on Saturday and it STILL looks 💣. Be sure to go here and ask for her. Baby girl is a saint 💕

Omg Dari is one of the best raiders in the world. She braids my daughter hair all the time and is always available when ever I need her. She has been taking care of my daughter hair and I really appreciate her. Not only is she a good hair braider she is a great role model for the young women of today. The nail girl @laluzlux is the best! She offers toe nail reconstruction for those of use with nail trauma, I’ve always been so self conscious of my missing big toe nail and she made me feel so comfortable and confident and customizes my pedi to look so realistic it’s perfect!! I highly recommend!!

This was by far the worst experience I’ve had at a salon. I call to schedule, the person I spoke with requested pictures of the style I wanted. I sent 2 photos/2 separate styles giving options, just in-case they couldn’t accommodate me with the first. It was confirmed the first style could be done by the person I spoke with, whom I also confirmed the date, time and price. Next I received a message from another person asking me to send them pictures of the style I wanted. Clearly there was a lack of communication between the “stylists” and the person whom I scheduled with due to duplicate text messages. The day of my appointment I drive to the “location”per google maps searching the name of the salon only to get there to call and find out it was the wrong location, and they’ve moved, something that should have been communicated at the time of scheduling, All because I didn’t have a back up plan, new to the area, I drove 15 more minutes to get there an now asked if I brought the hair. Again something that should have been communicated at the time of scheduling. The “stylist” washed/conditioned my hair and put me under a dryer. The “stylist”completed my hair using the wrong type of hair not producing the style I asked for. I left the shop and stopped at a beauty supply to buy a scarf to cover what was done. I took the hair down the next day. The major lack of communication and professionalism did it for me. Least to say I will not be doing “business” with The Unity Braids and Beauty again. I hope this helps.

Dari is the boss when it comes to braiding hair. I was skeptical at first because the style I wanted seemed kind of difficult but Dari took it on and she never disappointed. As long as she continues to be blessed with creativity and humbleness I will continue to support her. She is awesome. I am real happy to have found someone that can really braid and it looks exactly like the style I want.

I give three because I had some experiences. First time I came in for a very simple straight braided back style. Definitely shouldn't have been almost 200 dollars but it was. The stylist was also late. She braids but it's more so the product she uses that keeps the braids together. The music was inappropriate for children to hear but to each their own. I just didn't like that it was anything playing with kids in there. The second time the stylist was late again. The hair was longer then she expected and she still did our hair so I appreciate that. However she wasn't able to do one of the style we originally planned for before she came and she upped the price to do something more simple, because she wanted the same amount she quoted at first. This last time I came I asked if they could do a take down she wasn't able to make it and asked the day before the appt if she can reschedule. someone else at the shop took her place instead and we did so. When I came my child's hair was curled as if it washed and it wasn't washed. If it was washed it wasn't not washed correctly. My childs texture is very different when it's washed. It's automatically curly and thin. It's not thick after being washed at all. Even after blowing drying it's thin but puffy straight. Her hair had been combed out probably blow dried and combed but it wasn't washed. Her hair was still formed as when you take down braids,curly from product and lent was still in my daughters hair from the braids being up so long. I paid for the wash 25 dollars with the take down. When the last time a wash was added on it was 15. the last time my son got single twist on his Mohawk and it's was 60 dollars. These were regular twist that untwist easily not two strand normal twist. Then it was 90 for single braids in the same style. Pricing changed too much, the appointment time consistency and this with hair not being washed was the last experience for me. God bless you all going forward.

I had gotten my hair done with another person, and the process wasn't a great experience, furthermore the price wasn’t cheap. I’m wanted to give it another shot, before I decided to just braid my own hair. I just found my new hair braider <3! Not only did they make the process easy, she provided the hair, my braided was so friendly and easy to talk to(Dari)! A fun, open environment I genuinely love it here!
