Not only does she excel in her craft, but she is also a devoted family person and always making time for her loved one. I was fortunate enough to have her work on my hair at her salon and she did an incredible job with my color. She pours her heart and soul into every hairstyle she creates, always striving for perfection. Tamekia is not just an exceptional hairdresser, but also an amazing individual. Her passion, dedication, and honest approach make her a true gem in the industry.

Tamekia was amazing. She is soo informative. She lets you know what is the best product for your hair. She has conversations with you because she actually cares. Some stylists do not care about you they are only in it for the money. However, I really recommend Tamekia at Unity Salon. Especially, if you want a great experience that comes with an amazing person. What are you waiting for? Book an appointment TODAY!! You won’t regret it. Tamekia has such a good energy. As a mixed race curly haired person, I never feel safe in the stylist chair. Tamekia knows how to make you feel comfortable immediately. Sitting with her is getting a boost in positivity. Great cut as well. Excited to come back!

Tamekia takes time to listen to meet your hair needs. I have wavy and thick hair and she knows how to cut it and thin it out so well! She also is also great w/ trimming and braiding my 6 yr old daughter’s fine hair. She can converse to anyone about anything it seems, great soul!

Took my daughter here to get her hair done for her 8th grade dance. Tamekia did an amazing job! My daughter has thick textured hair and most people have a hard time doing it. I Highly recommend! I too will be getting an appointment set up soon for a haircut and color. ❤️

Tamekia is very professional and respectful. She always puts on a mask as, given this pandemic, that is very important to me. She sanitizes after each client and she keeps the salon very clean. I had been looking for a great stylist that does a great job instead of a generic chop shop approach and have found that in Tamekia. She listens, provides great conversation and is very good at what she does. I highly recommend her! Lori B

The best we have had in Arizona. We drove to Scottsdale, Avondale, Goodyear, and Phoenix. Finding a clean location that feels upscale and relaxing is great, but the best part is having an experienced, personable, gentle handed hair tech. Tamekia Is the best part. Talking to her made us feel we have know her all our lives, she was kind, sociable and so respectable. We refuse to have anyone else, we will keep driving the 40 min to see her! "God puts people in your path for a reason"

I have been looking to get my hair done for a while now, I came across Unity salon on Yelp and I’m so glad I did! Tamekia was amazing ! She did my hair exactly how I wanted it and I’m in love ! Not only did she do an amazing job with my hair but she is seriously such a fun loving person, I felt so comfortable with her!

My Hairdresser Tamekia went above and behind to take care of me . Everything was sterilized before I got there. Her work is great as I hadn’t been to a salon for months and my hair color came out terrific. I would recommend her to anyone that needs a good colorist and hair stylist..

Tamekia is the best hair colorist I have been to. I have had my fair share of hair disasters trying to get my hair highlighted and colored in the past. She is a wonderful human in addition to being a hair stylist. She worked on my hair for 6 hours to accomplish what I want. I even told her that we should finish a different day and she said she wasn’t going to sleep at night until she is happy with the results. If you’re struggling to find a hair colorist/stylist you trust who will lookout for the integrity of your hair, Tamekia is the person you want to go to!
