TLDR + Update: It’s luck of the draw and massages cost $120. Unravel Therapeutics seems to have insinuated that I am not a “discerning client” in their response to my original review. My massage with Mia was fantastic. She gave a thorough consultation, incorporated my requests, and checked in regularly. Original review: My massage with Annelie was the best I’ve ever had. She gave a thorough and attentive consultation, and she incorporated my requests into my massage. I felt like jello afterward. My massage with Jenna was one of the more disappointing I’ve ever had. She was actually recommended to me by the front desk staff for firm pressure, which she did not use. Rather than giving a thorough consultation, she asked me “so what do you want to do today?” That confused me, but once I recovered, I made a very clear request for attention to my right shoulder, neck, and upper back. Instead, she spent more time working on my left side during the appointment. At one point when I was on my back, she spent what felt like five minutes or more using only her left hand on my left side. At the same time, she would occasionally start to use her right hand on my right side, then quickly pull away. I thought I heard her flexing and stretching her wrist and fingers when she did this. This wasn’t what I had asked for and I didn’t want to waste my money, so I finally asked her if her right hand was causing her pain, thinking we might need to discontinue the massage. She denied that it was, but she told me that everything hurts at her age. I can sympathize, but maybe that necessitates a day off. I called to report my negative experience after mulling it over for a while and I was offered no resolution whatsoever. The associate on the phone told me that Annelie is their very best massage therapist, which is why she’s booked so far in advance. If it is well known that the other massage therapists do subpar work compared to Annelie, I don’t believe they should be charging the same rate.

I’ve been going to Unravel Therapeutics for over a year now. In this past year, with a combination of massage therapy, acupuncture, AND, physical therapy, I’ve managed to correct major imbalances within my body. Throughout this past year I’ve seen the massage therapists Jenna, Xavier, and Kels who have their own personal yet very effective techniques that I contribute to correcting my imbalances. Xavier has a general deep tissue technique that is great for relaxing the bigger more tense muscles. Jenna and Kels are very in tune with what muscles need more attention and apply more pressure when needed. Additionally, Nejat, the acupuncturist, has been very transformative to my muscle relaxation. I cannot imagine doing life without this! Overall, every person that I’ve had a session with has been professional, friendly and collaborative in my health journey. If you are looking for a place to get a body reset this is it!

All the staff here have been amazing, I usually ask for whoever is available and am never disappointed. Special shout out to Jenna and her magic hands, I went to her regularly for prenatal massages. Thank you all for the pain relief and relaxation!

Jenna is one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever worked with. I am currently receiving prenatal massages from her but look forward to continuing after with regular massages as well. She is patient, listens to concerns, and truly makes for a relaxing experience!

Kelsey, Cory, and Annelie are all so wonderful. I’ve had monthly medical massages here as well as facials and have only had good experiences with everyone. They take insurance which is so helpful and all of the front desk staff are kind and supportive.

Unravel Therapeutics is excellent! Izzy is responsive and communicative, easily running the front! A highly skilled massage therapist, Jemma has that great balance of technical and intuitive skills, coupled with the strength that I need in massage. She also cracks me up with her humor and vivacious personality! I highly recommend Unravel and Jemma!!

I highly recommend Jenna at Unravel in Magnolia! I have been booking massages with her for a little over a year. I started going to Jenna for prenatal massages. Throughout my pregnancy she was very supportive! She helped alleviate pain I was having due to pregnancy. She has such a relaxing and welcoming environment. I always look forward to my massage appointments. Izzy at the front desk is welcoming and really helpful! I’m so glad I found Unravel they have a really amazing staff.

Got bad gamer neck/back? Jenna is AMAZING, after just one massage I felt like I was actually able to sit with almost 0 pain- I hadn’t felt that good since before I started dealing with chronic pain. Best massage I’ve ever had!

Great place for a massage! Professionally I’m involved in physical work and as a result benefit greatly from regular massage. I highly recommend Jenna, her deep tissue massage technique allows me to be more relaxed and functional!

Great place for deep tissue massage, has parking, all rooms are nice, warm and clean. After 2 years of biweekly massages I couldn’t recommend Jenna as therapist more!!! Jenna is amazing at deep tissue massage and always listens to client requests.

I had my first massage in 4 years today with Jane and it was a great experience! She's very sweet and we had a great conversation. The massage was awesome as well. I felt really good afterwards and I'll definitely need to book a longer session next time.

I have been coming here for prenatal massages regularly and it has been wonderful! I have seen several of the therapists here, but I have seen Annelie and David and recommend both (very different styles so depends on what you like!) Unravel also takes insurance which is very convenient.

I have been coming to this business for a while and I get the best massages from Jenna! She is very caring, compassionate, and always makes sure to provide you with comfort and care. She has even helped relieve my chronic shoulder pain! I will never switch to another masseuse. She goes the extra mile to help her clients in any way, even when it doesn’t have to do with her service. She always has your best interest! The whole staff is very caring and always so warm and welcoming, the owner Noha, was even kind enough to spot me out and offer me a job position. Izzy at the front desk is also very kind and nice to talk with.

I have been coming to unravel for the last few years and have always had a relaxing & pleasant experience. All of the masseuses have been excellent, especially Jenna who has given me some of the best massages I have ever had - she is very skilled at what she does and I will keep coming back to her!

I went here about a year ago because it was listed as "in network" with my insurance. the massage was, fine. the massage rooms were pretty clinical, more like a doctors office than a massage studio. decided not to return. fast forward A FULL YEAR. apparently this wasn't covered by my insurance and i got a phone call out of nowhere saying i had to pay my bill or go to collections. if you were that concerned about being paid, why did it take a full year to reach out to me. no email, not call before this, nothing. I could have used my HSA card to pay this bill last year, but now that i'm on an FSA i can't use that money because this happened outside of this calendar year, and has to go on my credit card instead. very disappointing payment process.

One of best massages I’ve had! Javier really finds the issue and works it out till it releases! If you need a therapeutic massage he’s the guy! Also adorable little shop with clothing, candles and accessories.
