The stylist is very attentive to each clients needs. I and my daughter had an appointment made for the same day and she was well versed on each of our hair needs. Neither one of us will go anywhere else. Definitely recommend!

Ms Tameshia is very punctual, organized and professional. Upon entering for your appointment, your asked to wash your hands, your temperature is taken and input from your phone. You’re the only client in the salon at that time, which allows for a great sense of health safety at this troubled time. She’s detailed and prompt with her work, so it was delight to not spend all day in the salon. Being a busy person, I totally appreciate the respect of my time as the client. This place will definitely be my go to whenever my original hairstylist is not available. Great vibe, mood, and atmosphere here! The person who did my twists, Alexis, is phenomenal. Very nice, easy going, and conversational she made the experience real comfortable and welcoming. Her services will definitely be attended by myself in the future. I highly recommend this salon! 💯

I enjoy not only getting my hair done but learning about how my hair works and what it needs. The vibes are great as soon as you sit in the chair and my hair has never been so healthy and soft. I’m definitely coming here once a month.

On 09/26/17, I scheduled an appointment for 10/05/17 because of Uptown's rave reviews. Ms. Hicks of Uptown confirmed my appointment time and date via phone that day, and advised that I would receive a text message the day before my appointment. I didn't receive a text the day before, so I called the morning of my appointment. Ms. Hicks seemed confused; it appears she couldn't find my appointment. So, she proceeded to argue that I scheduled it on another day, then she said I was supposed to call her back to confirm. Never once did she apologize for her error, or any possible confusion, nor did she offer to rectify. She simply went back and forth until I said "thank you," and ended the call. I am disappointed with her poor customer service and "blame game" actions. I'll take my business to a professional.

Tamiesha is meticulous with her techniques. She won't have you playing musical chairs all day with other clients. You will have her undivided attention. She is a pleasure to do business with. While she does my hair she tells me what I can do to make it the best it can be. She also sells hair care in her shop but she didn't urge me to buy something that I didn't really need and I appreciate her honesty.

I first met Ms. Tameisha almost 6 years ago now and I love the professionalism, quality and how healthy she always kept my hair. I have recently relocated to Columbia, SC but I still drive 4 hours just get something special and beautiful if my schedule allows it.
