I absolutely loved my first time at Uptown Nail Spa! Michelle was so sweet and personable. All the staff made sure to make you feel welcomed and relaxed. I am very happy I found this place and will continue getting beauty services from them! Great hospitality and prices!

I have never posted a negative review before but that was the most uncomfortable pedicure I've ever received. The passive aggressive attitude, snarky responses, and yanking my foot because I went to place it in the water before he was ready for me to were too much. I literally stared at the door the entire time bc I just wanted it to end. I didn't want to be painted as the "angry black woman" so like a fool I sat there through the bad service and even tipped him. I just wanted to listen to my audiobook and get a pedicure in peace. I won't ever go back. Please do better.

I just moved to Dallas late last year and this is my first time ever going to a nail salon! They were so sweet and generous! Very nice and just beautiful atmosphere and energy! I got an uptown pedicure 10/10 recommend for your first time! Tracy did an amazing job! Plus Michelle did my eyebrows while I was enjoying my pedicure! I will definitely be a returning customer! Thank you so much for making my birthday prep relaxing and enjoyable!

Chloe was absolutely fantastic! I was in a bit of a rush, but she got me in and out in no time. She was super friendly and made the experience so enjoyable. I had a lovely pedicure and went for the classic French nails, which turned out beautifully! This place is wonderful, and the staff is amazing!

Got my nails done for the first time here. Nice place, however, my nails are all crooked. I asked them to fix them and they made them extremely short. I get dip on my real nails and have never had issues before. The lady tried to say my nails grow crooked and that is why they’re not straight. lol. I will never be going back here. Also, I asked for a blue color on my toes and they’re purple. I went back today and asked them to take the dip off and the lady tried to file them and fix the shape. Said come back before Christmas and I can get a different color. I picked a light blue out and they’re dark asf. All around bad experience here. The photos are from after I went back and tried to get the dip removed. She filed them down more. Went back and gave them a second chance. Had to go back again to get my nails fixed because they put cat eye over dip and it peels off the next day. I spent way too much money and wasted my time again. They “fixed” my nails again and the same thing happened. They peeled off. So annoyed. Side note when came back to get them fixed again, another girl was there getting her nails fixed because they messed them up as well.

I use to be a fan of this location but the last two visit I realize customer service was not the same experience as others. I had to ask for a beverage which is complementary. I watch the staff greet everyone coming thru the doors and ensured they were good versus they ask what service was needed and left me waiting over 30 mins each time. So instead of assuming I spoke to the front desk twice each time in a respectful manner but this last time the services and professionalism cost me more physically the lady that did my nails was rough she cut me several times and pushed my skin back too far. My feet were cut to the point it’s red and causing pain. I limp when I walk, I’ve never experienced this ever. The atmosphere there is nice they upgraded the seats and decor however it does not match quality service. I will not be returning.

Horrible customer service! I tried to call to ask about services (because the information was not listed on the website). The man didn’t listen and kept telling me to check the website (I was looking at the website when I called to ask for clarity) and hung up the phone in my face. Then blocked my number when I kept trying to call back. Abhorrent behavior.

I have been going to Uptown Nail Spa for about 3-4 months, and so far it’s been a great experience. Emily usually takes care of my full sets and she is great (she did the tortoise shell french & Christmas nails pictured). She pays attention to detail and takes her time to ensure I am satisfied. I also like how this nail salon is aware of trends and can execute them by bringing your visions/inspo pictures to life. It is a little pricey due to the area, but worth it for the ambiance, experience, artistry, and skill of the staff!

I moved to Dallas in Dec 2023 and was looking for a clean and skilled nail salon. I dropped into Uptown Nail Spa on a whim and I've been a customer ever since. I love that they remember me when I come in and Chloe is respectful of my preferences.

In from out of town booked a manicure after seeing the reviews. The absolute worst manicure of my life. The technician didn't even trim my cuticles correctly. I had to have her remove the polish as she didn't have me wash my hands to remove the oil from the wax and my nails beds were extremely oily. Polish was applied incorrectly and less than 24 hours later is peeling off. See photos.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of months to get my nails done (hands and feet), and the main reason I keep returning is Jenny. She’s an absolute artist! Everything she does matches the Pinterest references perfectly. However, the overall experience is mixed. The staff frequently shout to each other between the first and second floors, which seriously disrupts the peaceful atmosphere you’d expect from a nail spa. When it comes to waxing (eyebrows and lips), I’ve consistently left with wax residue on my face. Definitely not the level of service you’d anticipate for the price. Summary: 5/5 - Jenny (acrylic nails) 4/5 - Pedicure 2/5 - Ambiance 2/5 - Waxing

Michele did great work on my dip manicure! Initially, I didn’t like the color and was able to return to get it adjusted. I appreciated her time and detailed approach when working on my nails. It’s been one week and they have held up well so far.

I came here visiting my best friend in Dallas and Tiffany Lan got us both in the next day after we texted! She is personable, welcoming, and really seems to care about her clients and work. I will definitely come back the next time I’m in town!!

I honestly feel like I was robbed we were there 30-45minutes and they charged me $45 to paint my daughter toes and nails w/ gel she is only 4 …. And my pedicure alone was $70 which was fine but $45 for a toddler is insane and I asked for a pedicure for my daughter as well but I guess they didn’t have kid pedicure chairs which no one told me that. I won’t be back! For $45 you would think they would at least dip her fit in a little bowl or something.

Update - at first I left a great review. The work seemed good before I left. However, after leaving I noticed the shaping and lumps just wasn’t worth the price. The ladies are nice who work here; but it’s really busy and tiny so you don’t have a relaxing experience. AND they kind of pressure you to leave a review before leaving so I think most of these reviews reflect that. Unfortunately, I won’t be back.
