I achieved one of my biggest goals ever with Nyssa’s coaching help! She was able to help me break down what seemed like a giant and overwhelming feat into small achievable steps. Her one on one coaching sessions taught me how to time block and helped me keep myself accountable. Working with her kept me on track and supported me in setting small achievable goals that I could work towards and complete successfully! Nyssa is a compassionate and easy to work with coach. This approach allows me, and no doubt others, to drop the judgement and criticism that actually undermines our motivation and move into using our strengths and strategies to begin or continue on the upward spiral to our next level and beyond. Nyssa is knowledgeable, skillful and compassionate. She has been providing bodywork for many years and regularly refreshes and expands her knowledge. She understands how to listen to her clients and thus can personalize your massage. She is respectful and perhaps best of all, has a wonderful healing touch. Booking a massage with Nyssa was an incredible gift of self care and self love! As a working mom, sometimes it’s hard to carve out time just for me. Have had some lingering neck pain and booked a massage on word from a friend that Nyssa was amazing. Couldn't agree more! The 60 minute massage went too fast. I didn't want it to end. I will be rebooking for 90 mins next time :)

I have been seeing Nyssa for a few months and could not be happier. She is an intuitive massage therapist and I feel like really listens to me and tailor makes all our sessions. Her space is inviting and peaceful. I have chronic pain in my feet and she has helped me so much. I also feel more in-tuned with my body. One of my favorite parts is that she uses all different types of massage, depending on what my needs and concerns are. I recommend Nyssa to all my friends and family.

I recently visited Nyssa at Upward Spiral for an hour long massage, mostly focused on my neck and shoulders. My neck had been bothering me for about a week, with limited mobility and constant discomfort. She got me in early after a different client cancelled and I could not have been more grateful! My neck felt better immediately afterwards and is now back to normal a few weeks later. This is only my most recent appointment with Nyssa, but any time I've had a massage with her, I've come away feeling revitalized. She is truly an exceptional human and healer!

Nyssa is incredible! She helped work out a painful tweak in my neck. It's hard to find someone who can do deep tissue massage for athletic injuries. As she works, you can tell that she understands muscle and nerve anatomy and how it all works together. I'm so grateful to have found such a skilled, professional massage therapist. I'll definitely be going back!

Stop looking anywhere else for your massage! I came in with so much body pain and stress from life, and left on cloud 9. I've had a ton of massages and I can say that hers was by far the best I've had, and I'm now done shopping around for places to get a massage in Tampa. Nyssa is so kind and made me feel comfortable right from the start and the space where she does massage is inviting, relaxing and smells amazing. Should I go on?

You can stop looking now - you’ve found the best massage therapist in Seminole Heights! Nyssa is so awesome, great energy, easy to schedule with and incredible massages! I’ve been going quite frequently as I’m pregnant and she’s very accommodating to my big belly and ever changing needs! I've been getting monthly massages for about 10 years, which has brought the experience of having many different massage therapist. Recommended here by my acupuncturist. Lara has done so much to help me with my TMJ/vertigo issues in a short amount of time. Nyssa is a true healer! I was suffering terribly from neck and shoulder pain for weeks and within one session the pain was so relieved that I walked out feeling like a ton of bricks had been lifted from my shoulders. I slept wonderfully and the next day my blood pressure was the lowest it's been in years. If you're in chronic pain check out Nyssa Hangar at upward spiral and you'll be doing yourself a big favor!

Very calming environment and included aroma therapy. Nyssa did a wonderful job of relaxing me and releasing the tension in my muscles, especially my neck area. As an arthritis sufferer, I came in bent over and in pain. I left feeling 2 inches taller and wonderful!
