I’ve been getting my hair colored by Bryony for about two and a half years now, and I couldn’t be happier! She consistently does an amazing job, and my hair always looks exactly how I want it after every appointment. Not only is she incredibly talented, but she’s also such a lovely person to be around. Every visit brightens my day, and I always leave feeling uplifted and refreshed. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a skilled, friendly, and professional colorist! Thank you, Bryony!

Bryony is a curly hair girls goddess! Bryony listened to the cut that I had in mind, made sure my hair would accept the cut (curly girls need realistic expectations), and Bryony took the time to show me the products and styling tricks to get my curls to behave. I can't be happier! Thank you!

Brandon Edward has been cutting my hair since I moved to Portland a year and a half ago, and I know how lucky I am that the first stylist I tried was the one I could stick with. Brandon always listens, asks specific questions about my hair goals, teaches me how to style it (and I have to be re-taught every.damn.time), and always has insight and wise counsel to add to my hair vision, which always ends up being right. And he’s a fully authentic person behind the chair. I could not recommend him more highly!

Brandon is the curly hair wizard I’ve been searching for my whole curly haired life. He doesn’t even have curly hair and yet he gets us! I absolutely love how passionate, skilled and creative he is. He loves what he does and having someone excited to do my hair (like genuinely excited) is a great feeling. Im in love with on my hair right now and excited for my next appt. He’s so fun to chat with too. I’ve had some weird experiences from stylists who’ve done some very questionable things to my hair and Brandon held space for all my curly trauma. Also he will never let you leave with with wet hair (unless that’s what you really want I guess) 🤩🤩🤩🤩

I have bad so many bad haircuts trying to find my goldilocks stylist. My wicked thick hair has been hacked into an embarrassing poodle cut so many times. Now, getting my hair cut by Brandon is one of the highlights of my month. He never goes too short, checks in if I ever want something different, and always asks how my last haircut was. (Turns out he's won national awards for his pixies... no surprise here.) You're in talented hands with this one. Come for the cut, stay for the sass.

It’s so rare that you can sit in a chair, have a successful consultation, and trust that you’re going to walk out with hair so good you’ll wanna f- yourself. But that’s exactly what you’ll get with Brandon. Short hair, color, curly, Brandon slays at it all. It was an honor to be his first EXTENSIONS client. The process was so giggly and fun. The results were GORGEOUS. If you’ve been thinking about k-tip exertions, BRANDON WILL GET YOU RIGHT!

Brandon is, in a word, sensational. I chair cheat on him regularly due to the frequency with which I travel, but after being back in Brandon's chair - I kick myself for not scheduling and returning sooner. On the rare occasion I feel like color - there is also no other colorist I would trust. Great cut, great chat, and always a smoother than smooth fade. If you're a guy who wonders what the difference is between a barber and a stylist... Go see Brandon. He is the stylist you're looking for.

Urbaca is a wonderful experience. I enjoyed a power facial by Sherry which was a surprisingly healing and relaxing experience. I’m looking forward to doing this again. I’ll save the details for you to have your own experience. Then I had my hair shaped by Brandon. I really enjoyed his passion for curly hair, expertise, and especially his fresh vision for my hair. Yes!!!! Btw he could be a comedian. He says some outrageously funny things. He manages to do all of this while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The overall space is very relaxing, high quality, spa environment. Everyone here holds a high standard of professionalism and creativity.

for some reason I can't write a review in the app, but Sierra M was THE BEST. I have fine hair (and it's always been long) and got a bad short haircut elsewhere that felt blunt and lifeless, but she not only fixed it with appropriate layers that framed my face better, but she gave me cute options for styling and it has been growing out beautifully, as she said it would. I'll definitely be going back to her again! Thank you, Sierra! <3

Brandon Edwards my favorite hairstylist I have ever had the pleasure of seeing has moved to Urbaca salon recently and I would recommend his services to anyone. He is very careful about every detail and very passionate about what he does. He is very talented and offers way more services than I will likely ever take advantage of. I am probably a pretty boring client for him since I am very "normie" with my haircuts. I have never been one for super flashy attention grabbing style. But he is very good at meeting his clients where they are and providing a look that fits their style. He is more than anyone else I have ever seen been able to encourage me to care more about my hair and how it looks, and is able to help me garner compliments from my wife every time I come home after getting a fresh cut!

Brandon is incredible! I came to him after a few rough cuts and colors at other salons. During our consultation he asked a lot of questions and came up with a plan to get my cut and color in a great place. I have THICK hair and tons of grey I’m trying to hide. Brandon did the best job communicating options and process up front and every appointment since. I trust him 100%. Over the last year I’ve been seeing Brandon I get compliments on my hair all the time. He’s also taught me tips along the way on how to style it. On top of his amazing skills, Brandon is super fun to be around and the time flys in his chair.

I came to Portland to visit for 3 weeks and decided I couldn’t leave after discovering Brandon Edward. He is by far the best stylist I’ve ever had for my short, curly hair. He has full reign over my hair color and style and I am never disappointed. Besides being highly skilled and creative, he is a genuinely wonderful person. I highly recommend Brandon.

Sierra is one of the most professional and talented and respectful hair stylists I have ever met .. she transformed my simple hair trim into a meaningful experience with her professionalism , attention to detail, and skill . I went in for a hair cut very tense because it was my first time and walked out a very happy customer . The place is very clean and well lit and has a zen feel to it , a definite hidden gem. The staff are courteous . Totally recommend this place especially Sierra !

The salon is in a space with wonderful natural light. Between that, and the layout of the stylists’ stations, it was a comfortable atmosphere. I was fortunate enough to get in last minute to have my hair styled for my birthday, and Rosemary did a wonderful job. The front desk staff was also very warm and welcoming.

They lied and told me they was able to do my hair and style it the way I wanted it. They did not cut it right or even they did not style it the way I wanted it AT ALL!! Then they still charged me full price!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL unless your old with straight hair.

This was my first time visiting Urbaca Salon and it was such a great experience! All of the staff was so warm and friendly! I was offered a drink immediately upon arrival and I was completely in love with my hair. I didn't get a photo of it that does it justice bit Amanda added a cute braid on the side. I really just love the whole vibe of this place. The natural light, the plants, everything. 10:10 for me!
