Been going to Zach for many years now. As a hairstylist, Zach listens to my needs and ensures I walk out of his salon looking good and with what I asked for. He's extremely personable, and he focuses on his client. Compared to other salons in the Indy area, I get the style I want without paying the exorbitant prices other salons charge. I highly suggest Urban Designs by Zach.

Great location downtown for salon services. Appointments are always on time so you can get in and out over your lunch break if needed. I've been a client for years and recommend Zach if you're looking for someone new to freshen up your look or if you're looking for a new professional salon.

I highly recommend Zach. When I first moved to Indy, I was going to local barbers for a couple years and would get a different haircut each time. Zach provides a consistent, stylish haircut and I wish I had found him earlier. I am not the most talkative person, but felt comfortable with him from the start and now look forward to our conversations. He's prompt but there is a nice waiting area if you arrive early. He is willing to work with you on your style, but after my first experience years ago I trust him to do his thing. He is responsive to phone/email, and it's been great getting to know him over the years.

I've only been to Zach 3 times. The 1st time I showed him a few pictures and he asked a few questions. He was nearly perfect the 1st time. I explained the slight change the 2nd time. His cut was perfect the 2nd and 3rd times. Exactly what I described!

Zach has been cutting and coloring my hair for about two years now, and I'm always really pleased with his willingness to listen to what I want and give me a fresh cut and look that I can feel good about. As a busy professional and mom, I appreciate Zach offers a wide selection of times at his shop. The downtown location if convenient, with easy parking. I also really enjoy Zach's great uptempo tunes, and lively conversation. He's really a great host and a talented stylist!

Get in contact with Zach long before you need a hair cut because his schedule gets full quickly for to repeat business. I think most of us would say he's great at what he does and you'll love the result. Get to the building a few minutes early to look at the historic pictures in the lobby as the building had been around for over 110 years.(which had nothing to do with Zach but helps illustrate that he's a good part of the story of Indianapolis)

As a first time customer of Urban Designs, I was skeptical of the 5-star rating however, every star is well earned. Very knowledgeable and friendly, Zach greeted me with open hospitality, answering any questions I had (there were a lot). I did not have a style in mind so Zach suggested a few different styles we could try; Highlighting the pros and cons of both style and maintenance. Zach is an exceptional individual offering great advice with great conversation. I am extremely satisfied with my experience, and will continue to go to Urban Designs in the future.

I love going to Zach for color. It's easy to book appointments and he is always on time. His prices are very reasonable, especially for downtown. He does an exceptional job with color -- I get compliments on my hair often. Everyone thinks I'm a natural blonde. ;-)

Zach has been cutting and designing my hair for several years. He is knowledgeable regarding products, hair condition(s) and sensitive to styling needs, styles that suit your features and "whims". His recommendations have always been welcome, useful and benefical to my hair needs. NO complaints at all. I have also, recommended several people to him for t heir hair needs and each person has come back to me with satisfaction and high regards for his work.

Zach has been doing my hair for years. He is an excellent colorist and is a gifted stylist. He stays current with the latest products and styles and knows what looks best on his clients. He is also a very warm and caring person and makes salon time a very pleasant experience!
