Such a great experience. I love that the salon strives to be as environmentally friendly as possible. Bri was absolutely incredible. She listened as I explained my hair woes and desired outcomes, then described in detail what her plan was. Every step of the way she explained what she was doing and why, explained some of the science behind it, and checked in to make sure I was happy so far. I cannot wait to have my next cut with her!

Charged for a missed appointment recommended to my 14 year old daughter on her last visit. Reminders were sent to me, since I booked the previous appointment, and they all went to spam folders. I called and asked for a refund but they would not refund. Now I am working with Amex now to dispute the charge.

I truly appreciate her attention to detail and great execution from the wash station through cut and styling, even for my no-frills haircut and style. I have been going to this salon for years. I have been seeing Jason for color. This time I asked for a caramel highlights . But it turned out more chunky blonde with a greenish tint. I have dark brown eastern indian hair. They don’t like it if you don’t like the color .they become personally offended . You are the customer and tell you it looks good . I went back to get it fixed after spending over $670 . Which included the color and three hair products . Some young Caucasian girl who has probably never worked with eastern Indian hair before put some dark dark brown color / toner in my hair over Jason’s highlights .. I felt like crying after she did what she did. They were mad at me for not liking the color asking me what was wrong with it . This is what you asked for. I asked them how they could fix it and they told me to go home and wash my hair with dawn dish soap , never to come back again, did not even attempt to even fix it , and refunded me half of what I paid a . You are the customer and you have every right to tell then you don’t like the color, they basically kick you out or the salon if you don’t like the color , and get highly personally offended if you don’t like the color z I feel embarrassed by the way my hair looks. This place is over priced , rude, don’t care about you feel about the color or their haircuts. If you have dark brown hair , eastern Indian or Hispanic .. these caucasians do not know what they are doing with this type of dark hair. they told me “this is what you asked for” what is your problem. I can’t even walk around with my hair looking this way and don’t know who to ask for help ? I asked for a caramel color and got dark black .. darker than my own hair .. and they have stripped my hair of my natural healthy shine . They should have to pay to fix my hair . Never in my life been treated so badly and told it was my fault the color looks this way because I asked for it, or I shouldn’t be upset with this color. I reminded them that I am the customer and I have the right to tell them I don’t like the color . They ruined my entire head of hair. It’s feels like coarse wires. . I have been going to this salon for over 6 years… and this is how they treated me. They should be reported to better business bureau for discrimination, assault for the way they ruined my hair, talked to me with disrespect and kicked me out of their salon for disliking liking the color . Caramel does not look like bright blonde green highlights or jet black or dark brown color . You shouldn’t have to go home and wash your hair with “ dawn dish soap.” These are pictures of the big chunky greenish blonde highlights and jet black toner they placed over these green blonde highlights . I am disgusted by this color. I can’t look at myself in the mirror. . I cried after leaving this salon. I never felt like this before . You are the customer and you should be able to tell them you don’t like it without them telling you “ what is wrong with the color” The young blonde girl said this is what you asked for . I hope this place goes out of business . I sent some of my friends here and they have had similar experiences with their color, and rude behavior , and never came back. I stoped even getting my hair cut from here long time ago. Because similar experiences with disliking the hair cuts they give. The overall experience is demeaning , insulting , I feel ashamed to go to work or walk down the street with my hair looking this way . I was not rude . I just told I don’t like the color over and over again and was told this is what you asked for . Never in my life have been told to wash my hair wish dawn dish soap . This is not a professional salon but a place supervised by high school drop outs . They tell you you are disrespectful if you don’t like the color . It’s funny . They do what they want to do . If you want a cut or color from here you better just shut up and like it . I could have done this with a $5 box of color from CVS down the street . “ can you fix it ? I have been crying so bad.”

I started going to this salon six months ago. I was previously dying my own hair and was looking for a refresh. Jason has been fabulous! He's collaborative and creative. The whole team at Urban Evolution makes me feel comfortable from the second I arrive.

I've been a customer of Jason's for many years and he does a terrific hair cut every time I visit. I get compliments which makes the already superb experience in the salon last well after my visit. The staff are always welcoming and give the place a friendly vibe. Jason has deep knowledge and training and he applies his skills like a master to solve the quirky nature of my hair. He's a great listener too, always open and understanding when it comes to the look I'm going for. Then Jason executes flawlessly!

Jason is an all around excellent hairstylist. He does a really nice job of explaining his approach to styling, and understanding your hair’s nuances. Tana's haircuts are spot on! She really listens to what you want and actually cuts your hair that way! She suggests appropriate products but isn't pushy. She is easy to talk to and has a great personality.

Well, I met Jason out at work super nice and approachable. He told me he was a hairstylist at Urban Evolution and to come on down and see him. So me and my son went down to Urban Evolution. I have curly hair and as a guy struggle to find someone who can cut my hair the way I want to style it. This was my first time going to a salon again and getting a true haircut since a horribly negative experience I had a couple years ago, and my entire experience at urban evolution has helped completely rebuild my trust in salons and stylist. The space is beautiful and bright, every person on staff is beyond kind and welcoming (and also gorgeous). Everyone there seems to go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. Roxy (my stylist) was the highlight of my experience. Her bubbly personality and conversations made the time fly by! She took plenty of time to get to know my hair journey, asked tons of insightful question, did a great job of throughly explaining we’d be doing. Her communication every step of the way very comforting and extremely impressive to me. She exceeded my expectations, and I left the salon truly feeling like myself again. I couldn’t recommend her more!
