Absolute best haircut and service I have ever received! April and Mia are so awesome and the salon itself is such a beautiful vibe. Also got my eyebrows waxed perfectly. Could not recommend this place or these people more!

I was looking for a new hair salon and tried Christopher Nagle at Urban Gypsy. I had an excellent experience. It is a very relaxing atmosphere and Christopher was wonderful. Excellent cut and color, I definitely recommend him.

This was my first time here and I will absolutely be back! The vibe here is so calming and happy. I got my brows done by Cindy and hair cut by Christopher. They are both such great humans to talk to, and phenomenal at what they do. Cindy went above and beyond just waxing, she told me tips to help growth after an awful threading experience left me with damaged follicles. Then showed me a makeup product to help fill in those areas for now, and even texted me the name and a link to it after the appointment. I did a huge chop of my hair with Christopher, going from almost waist length to shoulder length. I tried my first undercut and let him have creative freedom with the design and he did not disappoint! He's truly an artist. I'm so glad I found them 💓

I would recommend anyone wanting a Brazilian wax to come here!! Cindy is always sooo sweet and gentle. She really tries to make sure you’re comfortable the whole time. She’s the best!

Cindy is fantastic. Waxing was best I have had in years. Absolutely wonderful job. The location was nice, good parking, off the main street. Price was much better than my normal Zionsville spa and service was superior. Cris has been coloring my hair now for several months. He is amazing. I highly recommend Cris and will not let anybody else color my hair.

Erin has always done an amazing job with my hair! And my hair has been everything from a very short pixie cut dyed sapphire blue to just beyond shoulder length ashy blonde and every other color and length in between. She’s extremely professional and knowledgeable and will shoot straight with me if the picture I show her isn’t achievable or will damage my hair. I completely trust her judgement and expertise. Highly recommend Erin for all your hair needs. P.S. she’s great with men’s cuts and kids’ cuts too! My husband and sons (ages 10 and 8) love her as well.

Erin has been styling,coloring,cutting my hair for years. Urban gypsy has found its own hair goddess she is understanding , kind, patient, professional in her art. She always is up for a challenge and knocks it out of the park. She is always learning new ways to improve her art. Can't wait to see her soon.

For 19 months now, I have been growing my hair out beginning from a #2 clipper setting. Erin at Urban Gypsy has helped me from the beginning to get to this point. Thanks to Erin, my hair looks great and is healthy. She has taught me how to keep my hair looking great and healthy. She is always positive and honest. She helped me to embrace the wave in my hair. For the past 2 years or so, Erin has been the only hairdresser I've trusted for my cut/color. I've had both natural tones and bright colors from her as well as several different types of cuts and my hair always looks amazing! She knows what she's doing for sure! Prices are good too. I'm never paying $200+ at an overpriced salon again when I can go here and get the same quality or even better!

I am new to the area and needed a haircut and found out about Urban Gypsy on Yelp and they did not disappoint! Erin cut my hair and she did exactly what I asked her to do and walked me through the whole process step by step. She eased my nerves and made the whole experience very relaxing. Price was very reasonable for the quality of the hair cut. I will definitely be returning for my next haircut. Thanks Erin!

I followed Erin from her last salon to Urban Gypsy. She’s seen me through many colors, and a huge change from hair passed my shoulders last year to a pixie this year. I always look forward to the time I get with her, and always get people who stop and compliment me on my hair!

I was just there after a woman who had unrealistic expectations and a bad case of never had heard the word no had her appointment cancelled. Even with her p whipped husband who has to constantly be around her because she can't function in life without him were asked to leave the salon, I'm guessing this isn't the first time they had been escorted from a salon before. My $25.00 men's haircut with a beard trim, wash, and a lovely orange scented hot towel so my beard looks good was amazing. Erin even used some heaven in a bottle to shape my hair for me since she called me letting me know I could move my appointment up a day and go straight to work because Jen "just can't even"! Even with the bad vibes of a person who can't be made happy and the slight echo of the words "how dare you!" Still in the air I was taken aback by how much attention to detail Erin put towards my cut. This is my go to spot from now on. I encourage more Karen's to make appointments here towards the end of the month so I can sneak in after they leave without the benefits of a cut from a true pro like Erin. I bet she makes her husband leave a bad untrue review of this place because she doesn't want to re live the experience . Lol

Originally I had been going to City View for my hair and was with the same stylist for over 15 years. After a minor disagreement I was on the search for a new hair stylist that I could vibe with a little better. I ran into Erin out and found her vibe to be amazing, patient, and understanding. I set an appointment immediately. Long story short Erin is doing my hair better than someone I had been with for over 15 years. I wish I had only found Erin sooner. She listens to your needs while also taking amazing care of your hair. I love her and will be with her for life!

This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had at a salon, if that's what you want to call this place. Erin had been cutting my fiance's hair for a couple of years and he finally convinced me to go to her for a cut and color. She did a good job on the cut but absolutely botched my color. Her job title says she's a color correctionist, but clearly that's an overstatement. I sent her pictures of an ashy grey color with a dark shadow root and she said she'd be able to do that since my hair was already blonde and wouldn't be hard to do. When she was done, my hair was patchy with violet tones and a reddish root color. That is nothing like I wanted. So I expected her to fix it or refund the money and she said I'd have to pay for another service. Erin is unprofessional and will not take accountability for her mistakes. She shouldn't have a profession doing hair because she is the worst. Hell! A woman 3 months out of beauty school did a better job on my hair then her who claims to have over 20 years of experience. Please don't waste your time and money at this place.
