The hair cuts are great although pricey. So I stayed for a few years. I finally left because for a year straight before every appointment they called same day and wanted me to move my appointment to earlier in the day. I work so that was not possible. I finally asked if there was a problem with doing my hair at 4pm. I was told no. But they still asked every time and seemed annoyed when I couldn’t change time. The ladies that work there are very gossipy - talk poorly about each other and customers. And few of them even seem like they disappear to the back and return after doing some extra curricular activities. Not a healthy environment.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! I drove by Urban Hair for the first time last weekend and decided to book an appointment. I requested an appointment with Stefani Spandau for Saturday August 10th. I received a confirmation text on Monday August 5th. I did not receive a confirmation phone call from the salon. I mistakenly thought my appointment was at 2:30pm. I received a call at 2:11pm that my appointment was cancelled as it was for 2pm. I explained my mistake however the front desk girl would not budge. I went into the salon 5 minutes later only to be turned away. I asked why no one called to verbally confirm the appointment and the front desk girl said because I was a new client, I would not receive a curtesy call. I am very upset and rather disappointed. Apparently Urban Hair and Stefani Spandau do not want new clients :/ Do not go there!

INCREDIBLE EXPERIENCE! My stylist was Stephanie and today we were focusing on a major color correction from a hair botching from another salon (bishops). Stephanie was incredible, we discussed my intentions and hopes and we made a plan to get to the end result. I’ve never had more confidence in a stylist truthfully, her ability to break down the process in a simple way for me to understand was everything I needed. Will be returning 😊⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cassie at Urban hair is the best! She does a wonderful job with my hair and beard and always listens to me and offers good advice on style. It’s easy to book an appointment and the reminders make sure that I’m always make my appointment.

I feel like a brand new woman bc of Cassie's detailed and nurturing care of my wreck of a tangled mane mess. She gave me such a detailed undercut trim and layer trim and was very much a lovely human to spend time with in her chair and have all the dead ends snipped away. I walked in for an appt on a Sat and got lucky with some availability, but next time I'll def book my vivid sunset colors bc she does a BOMB job at colors from what I saw in the salon! Thank you Cassie YouDaBEST ♥️

Cassie brought my hair back to life! I visited for a long cut and bang trim. After, it looked like I’d had my hair recolored. Such a beautiful cut, and she brought out the shape and color of my hair that I love. Made an appointment to go back in a few months.

I got a haircut yesterday and i asked for shoulder length hair with layers and curtain bangs and ended up with such short hair and it was everything i wasn’t expecting. i haven’t gone to a salon in years and the reviews were good, i just expected my hair to be shoulder length and not so short, i’ve done everything to try to style it and make it look good but nothing works. it’s so frustrating and disappointing and it looks nothing like my inspo. It honestly looks like a boys haircut and i just don’t know how to recover from it.

I was looking for an “oil slick” color. I went to other salons that said it wasn’t possible on my dark hair. Cassie at Urban Hair took a look and said, “of course I can do that.” She did a PHENOMENAL job. It came out exactly like my reference photo. She was so nice and patient throughout the whole process, and stayed after hours to finish the job complete with styling. I am ecstatic about the results!

I went to get my hair colored using vibrant colors but didn’t want it to be too loud since I’m used to just having conventional highlights. I explained my concerns and Cassie was able to give me the look I wanted. She’s really very talented. My salon experience was great as I got the product I requested and was entertained the entire time with the friendly staff. Thank you for this look!

went in for a consultation and they said last minute canceled they say before because they were scared of messing up even though I made it clear if they messed up my highlights they could just dye over it and I’d be fine.

Got my hair done by the great Hair Slayer, Hector, who did such an amazing job! My face was hurting with how much I was smiling form seeing the transformation. Not only that but Hector made me feel comfortable. Definitely will be going back to them again!

I have been getting my hair cut here for about 4 years now and it never disappointed me. Staff and stylists are great and super welcoming. Parking is easy and plentiful which is always a plus. I can't complain about a single experience I have had here. I full hearted recommend this Salon as I think it is really amazing and can meet the needs of many clients.

I went in to get a hair cut for the first time since the pandemic started (so you know it was very much needed) I was lucky to have had a friend refer Ashely to me. Without pictures they were able to give me the cut of my dreams. I was nervous while making the appointment because of COVID, but the second I walked in the doors all my worries went away. The receptionist was very kind and checked me in and handed me a lil cape to keep on throughout my visit and informed me masks were required the whole time and then offered me hand sanitizer. I watched as my stylists station was thoroughly sanitized before my appointment. Definitely much better than I had ever imagined. 10/10 will be going back whenever I need help with my hair
