I’ve been seeing Garland for waxing and facials for years, and she’s truly the best! She has an incredible understanding of my skin and always customizes my facials to address exactly what my skin needs at the time. I also appreciate her recommendations for at-home skincare routines. Garland is professional, warm, and genuinely cares about her clients.

You should always give a receipt with a gift card. The lady asked me if I wanted a receipt, and I said yes, because it would have a confirmation number on it. She said that it doesn't have confirmation numbers that it only shows the total amount. This is really sketchy, especially because I paid cash. There's no way for me to know whether I got blank gift cards and she pocketed the money or if there's actual value on the gift card. Please reconsider this. I felt very uneasy leaving today.

I have been a customer at Urban Nirvana for more than a 15 or more years, both downtown and Greenridge. With the exception of Martin (5⭐️), The massage therapists are very inconsistent. Today will be my last visit. I felt like I was in a blender - the rapid touch and starting off with the legs was just weird. Intentionally leaving out this MT name but this older man appeared to be using me as his first customer, rather this is what it felt like - and the bed head was a riot, 30seconds and done. It was not calming or restorative but stressful. Additionally, the facilities have not changed since they first opened 20 years ago. (Shower faucet knob basically pulls out of the wall.) It sure would be nice to have some products available for the male clientele in the locker room - doesn’t matter since I’m not coming back. With lots of competition in the area, it’s kind of sad that the quality of services have not stayed consistent while the prices have increased. If you’re looking for a massage, go to woodhouse (if you can get in), Hartness (awesome) or that big lodge hotel downtown - just forget Urban Nirvana.

Madilyn here is a hair guru! She knew exactly the concoction this dry hair needed to revive it. I even had to take a few photos after since she styled it so miraculously, which is saying a lot! I have a very layered and disconnected haircut that some struggle to style, but she gobbled it up and ATE it down. She is so wonderful, I can’t wait to schedule my next appointment!

This was my 1st time in this store yesterday, something just drew me inside and it had to be God guiding me to this lotion 🧴! 😂 The lotion 🧴 smells amazing. Seems to take about 10 minutes to settle all the way into the skin. A light weight moisturizer great for the summer time. I plan to use it at night just as a moisturizer after my shower. It says that you can use it on damp or dry skin. I plan to try it on damp skin. It’s a great treat to pamper yourself and make yourself feel special at the end of the day. Keeps your skin soft hours after applying. I know this because last night I applied some to my right leg 🦵 and not the left leg 🦵 and today I could feel the difference that my right leg was softer. I was pleasantly surprised! 😊 The weight of the lotion 🧴 seems to linger a little while on the hands after applying. Makes my hands feel a little sticky until it completely dries. It was $30 but the smell had me hooked. Sometimes I use it as aromatherapy and just open the bottle to smell it. lol 😂 Splurge a little on this one. You won’t regret it! I PROMISE YOU! 💕

This was my first time here and it did not disappoint. From the time I walked in til the time I left it was a pleasant experience. Everyone was friendly and knowledgeable, everyone was doing their jobs, it smelled great, the lounge while you wait was relaxing, and Kimberly had the kindest conversation and did an excellent job on my eyebrows. I will be back!

This was my first visit I went with my daughter she a massage. Mines on the other hand was 45 minutes not an hour . She didn’t do the back of my legs or arms . U don’t think it’s my responsibility to tell them how’s to do their job. This young lady was sweet but didn’t meet my needs.

Urban Nirvana has a good vibe that promotes relaxation. The service prices are usually fair and the quality is on par with other local establishments. The biggest issue with this place is it seems to have relatively high turnover of people, so you don’t have consistency with the same people. With that said, the place is setup for good service, the outcome depends on the person you see.

I see Garland at this Urban Nirvana location about every five weeks, and she is amazing to say the least. After the first time I met her for my appointment, she made me feel comfortable and was super easy to talk to and makes my whole experience there awesome and enjoyable. Her bubbly personality is great and she is very knowledgeable in her field. I would highly recommend her to anyone I know for any services. I will be a loyal customer of hers for life!

I had a prenatal massage here today, and it was one of the best massages I've ever had, prenatal or otherwise. The location is easy to get in and out of, the staff is very friendly and professional, the quality of service is outstanding. I am definitely going back after my baby is born to check out other services. Definitely recommend!

I’ve been here several times and have always had a great experience. I love the lounge they have you wait in— much better than other places that make you just wait in the lobby. I want to give a huge shoutout to Brenda! She did my most recent massage, and it was amazing! She was so very kind and went above and beyond for me. I will definitely be back again to see Brenda!
