I’m extremely tender headed and was referred to Jazz by someone who also is. I reluctantly went and have been going since. I’ve received compliments each time from my family who laugh that at 65 I’m still so tender headed lol but finally found someone that takes care of my locs with such care and makes me look so fabulous as well. The environment is an added bonus because these beautiful women keep me laughing with their joy and love of family they share with all around them.

After getting "fired" from my previous loctician because my hair was too long, I found this shop. Such an air of positivity and a vibe I haven't seen anywhere else. I'm so glad I came here. They didn't make me feel bad for needing a little extra work done to my hair due to a ton of new growth.Jasmine treated me like the queen I looked like after she styled my hair. I have been receiving compliments almost daily about my hair since I left the shop. Love this place!❤️

5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We brought my two year old son in to see Denise to get the dreadlock process started. She had so much patience and gentle hands to get them completed. We are very happy and plan on coming back and bringing my husband and oldest son to get their hair done by her!!!! Strongly recommend

I found Urban Roots through a co worker. She introduced me to Alicia and the first time I met her the vibe was awesome. They are very professional and courtesy. Dont have to wait long for your SCHEDULED appointment. That is one of my pet peas. The service is very quick. The prices are very reasonable.

I have been getting my hair done with urban rootz for over 9 years now and I love them. The girls are like family to me and I do not have to break my bank to look beautiful. They care about my hair. I’ve been going to this salon for years. They started my locs in 2018 and now I have great healthy locs! They don’t use those gels other salons use that attract dirt and and makes your hair stiff. My hair feels healthily and they give care advice for your hair.

My stylist loves me she is so friendly and works with me on my schedule! Super clean facility, I had my locks repaired and put back in the ones that popped. I started going to urban roots in 2020 it’s now 2022 and I faithfully go every month! The vibe is so refreshing with great conversations and a chance to build a great client relationship now these 2 lovely ladies have changed my life for the Byers I feel and look like myself these days! And now we are more like family! I wouldn’t t let anyone touch my but urban roots salon thanks you! I encourage anyone with Dred lock problems to come and get fresh and also take advantage of there premium hair products me personally i use the all natural organic hair oils I know ever ingredient listed on the bottle and my scalp has never been healthier! I called about having her do my son's hair she was very, nasty with her responses and had no customer service skills at all. I'm surprised she has any clients at all with that nasty, disrespectful, unprofessional behavior. Do not go here unless being disrespected and having her hold her nose up in the air towards you is something you think is worth your time self respect and money. People who think the way you do Ms. lady like you're above everyone and the best in the industry are the ones who eventually fall and you will fall hard precious. Humble yourself and you might be able to keep your business going.
