Came in for an updo for an evening wedding. Jayden did the updo. She did a wonderful job. Lots of compliments and after a lot of dancing at the reception and getting home that night my hair looked as good as when I left the salon! Thanks Jayden!

Jayden cut my 11 year old son’s hair and did an amazing job! His hair is fine and has a a stubborn cowlick. Both mom and son are VERY happy. We’ll definitely be back. :)

Jesse was amazing when it came to my hair, after leaving the salon, my hair feels much softer and easier to manage! He was able to explain in great detail what exactly the treatment does for my hair, and has a positive attitude! I will be coming back when I'm ready for my next hair cut, and might even add some other services in, Jesse made the appointment at this salon a lot of fun!

Anya Moeller is extremely talented for the amount of time she has been working with hair. Any salon she moves to, I will always follow. The atmosphere and clean and I trust all the products that were used on me. I decided to bring in a friend for the 2 for the price of 1 and this deal was amazing since both of us are college students. Thank you Anya!!

Aubrey Smith is one of those cosmetologists where I look forward going back to because she always outperforms herself every single time! I am always timid when seeing new hair stylists because I have very curly hair and I haven’t found someone who really knew what they were doing until I met Aubrey. The first time I saw her I kind of let her “take the reigns” and said “What do you think would look good with my hair type and face shape” and proceeded to give me one of, if not the best, haircut of my life! Not only is she adept at her craft but also one of the sweetest and most kind souls I have met. I’m about to book my next appointment and it will obviously be with her! Highly recommend

I needed a refresh and touch up to the hair but ended up rather impulsive. I asked for bold and Jesse sign sealed and delivered as I know I can always count on. What was supposed to be just a trim up maybe some layers wound up with many inches and a much newer but perfect look. Thank you Jesse! I come to you because I can always count on you!

don't go here for curly hair!! i have curly hair and went here last year to get a small trim before school, said i wanted not even an inch off but they cut almost 3 off so my hair still hasn't grown back. my sister has curly hair too, we sent her and the same thing happened.

Got my hair done by Anya and she did a fabulous job! She was so kind and patient with me with figuring out what kind of cut I wanted. I wanted shorter wolf cut with a little bit of a mullet and she pulled it off great! I would 10/10 recommend getting your hair done by her!

I had an incredible experience with Claire at Urban Salon! I decided to go for a French bob and Claire did an amazing job. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and gave me a cut that suits my style perfectly. The attention to detail and professional advice were top-notch. I couldn't be happier with my new look! Highly recommend Claire for anyone looking to make a change. I also had the pleasure of meeting a few of the other stylists there as well, and they were all extremely friendly. Will definitely be coming back!

I came in for a haircut on 6/22 and left really disappointed. I was not going to call or write a review because the girl that did my haircut was genuinely so nice and cool. However, I do agree with others that this could be used as a learning experience. I had posted on Facebook that I was looking for someone confident and comfortable in what they are doing because I have had my hair ruined so many times in the past year. I attached my inspo picture and the picture of my hair after I left the salon. There is a section towards the front of my face that is cut extremely short, some pieces all the way up to my CHIN. I don’t know where she went wrong here. Maybe during the layering or the actual cut. I could tell she noticed what she had done because she was trying to blow dry it towards the back of my head probably hoping it would blend in some. It wasn’t styled after either and I left pretty quickly probably because it would have been too noticeable. The inspo picture wasn’t referenced a single time while getting my hair cut, I just trusted that she remembered what it looked like. I have to wear my hair half up/half down in order to hide the extremely short section that is uneven. Like I said, she was lovely. I like her a lot as a person. But my hair is messeddddd up.

The Urban Salon was recommended to me by a client of mine. His daughter Jillian works here and she was the stylist I chose during our visit for my sister and myself. I love that you can book your appointment online and see photos and names of the stylists as well as their openings in a calendar view. You can also book up to 3 future visits and it keeps track of them on your account. The salon is beautifully decorated and has an open design that doesn't leave you feeling cramped. Everyone at the salon was friendly and welcoming. Jillian started by looking at our hair and getting details about what we were looking for during our visit. The hair-washing stations were comfortable and had the option to prop up your legs, which helps feel more relaxed in a hair-washing position. She also placed a warm towel over our hair after washing which makes it feel even more spa-like. We were also given a warm towel and a sample of a hand lotion that is from a brand they sell. Jillian was easy to talk to and gave us advice for hair care throughout our cuts and styles. She was a great listener to what we wanted and would remember every detail. She also made sure to check in with us about our desired length. She did a fantastic job with both of us and I plan on returning. One of the best parts was the Tuesday special for two haircuts for the price of one!

This is pretty much the only place I will go-to to get my hair done. The prices are really fair, they are professional, and there’s a lot of good talent here. If I were you though, I would request Maya to take care of you. She is really good at listening to you during consultation to give you exactly what you’re wanting, as well as having the skills to pull it off. Whether you’re looking for something more intricate like a full color service, or just getting a cut, she’s got you. Not only that but she is just super welcoming and friendly, so you wind up feeling really comfortable during the whole thing. If you’re looking to do something to your hair, look no further, you found it. Just go here and ask for Maya and leave the rest up to her. Here’s some photo proof of the work I have her do for me.

My hair ended up absolutely horrible, I am not naming any names but now I am stuck with orange and yellow silver hair I have had to spend almost $100 myself to bring in the blonde I am so upset I did this on my bday too on the 30th and paid almost $200 for this ! I wanted blonde balayage and a hair cut ! I am so upse with how it turned out .

Maya is a sweetheart and also did a fantastic job on my hair!!!! She had to correct a terrible cut I had elsewhere and left me so happy! She exceeded my expectations and I will definitely go to her again. Thanks Maya!! Also, everyone working there today 2/14/24 was so kind and helpful… the energy was really positive and it was obvious everyone gets along well and enjoys their coworkers. It was a great experience and I am very thankful. I will definitely be back.

I came to Urban Salon last-minute one day. I was worried about how to care for my long hair extensions I had no experience dealing with them (the sown-in kind.) I lucked out and happened to be taken care of by Jillian, who helped me learn so much! For example, wearing a bonnet at night helps your hair stay put and undamaged. Now I go to Urban and see Jillian for blowouts whenever I can. I get a professional shampoo, scalp massage, cooling oil application and little treat of hand lotion as well as thorough gentle drying of my hair and extension wefts. A thermal finish is added to give me a nice style and it tops off the whole process. All of that usually takes less than an hour, and the price is right! With a tip I spend less than the price of the service alone at other shops, and I get quite a few compliments on my long hair! Most importantly, my own natural hair is growing out undamaged because of the great care it gets. I highly recommend Urban Salon.
