Lovely place, beautiful energy, highly skilled practitioners. Sam was an amazing massage therapist. One of the best massages I’ve had to date. She’s extremely intuitive and attentive, and clearly has experience and wisdom in her craft. I wish this place was in Chicago where I live! Might be making a trip to Tampa just to go back here. (Well, the sun would also be a bonus…)

Best massage I have ever had! The studio was welcoming and relaxing. Katrina is knowledgeable and compassionate. The pain I have been experience for years has drastically improved after my massage. I look forward to becoming a regular at Urban Zen :)

Had my first massage with Kyra today and it was amazing! She had a LOT to work on with me and did not skip over anything. Such a thorough therapeutic massage. The space radiates with healing vibes. I can’t wait to return 🫶🏼From one small business owner to another you can feel the heart that goes into their work. I couldn’t recommend Urban Zen Bodywork enough !

What. An. Amazing. Business! Not only was my facial one of the best I’ve ever had, but they supported their community after Hurricane Helene by offering 20 minute free facials. Some people forget to prioritize their mental health and overall wellbeing during extremely devastating events but Elena and her team made it a lot easier to just take a break. Their kindness for the community was overwhelming. After a full day of demo on houses that are meant to be our homes, having someone give attention to your skin is exactly what we need to relax and feel somewhat like ourselves again.

I had a massage with Miranda and it was amazing! She made me feel comfortable & asked the right questions. The pressure/different modalities were exactly what I needed. I highly recommend her!! The studio is so relaxing and the attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. I'll be returning soon and also trying other treatments. Urban Zen is my new spot :)

I have had many different treatments here and they all have been top notch! I absolutely love the new space- it is extremely inviting and relaxing. I have issues with claustrophobia and I have no problems here- all the worries definitely melt away. All the staff are extremely professional and great at what they do. Highly recommend supporting this small business!

I’ve been looking for the perfect massage therapist and spa and I finally found it!! Miranda was FANTASTIC! She listened to my concerns and crafted a massage perfect for me including multiple modalities. The spa was extremely inviting, the vibes were all on point! Very clean! I can’t wait to go back!!

First appointment with Katrina, I limped in and after a session with her I walked to my car, no pain, no limping…I came back and she is helping me relieve my leg pain through massage. This provider knows her anatomy and has helped me immensely. UZBW has a new member oof their family:)

I was in Tampa for a baby shower and some R&R so I decided to get a massage and let me tell you this was the best massage I ever received in my life. Miranda is a highly skilled masseuse she made me feel very comfortable and educated me during the session on many different techniques to help with my lower back stiffness. If you're looking for a quality massage studio Urban Zen is the place make sure to book with Miranda.

Place is very homey; quite literally. But makes it a little more relaxing than a corporate facility. I had Samantha; she did an excelling job. Overall, the reviews align. I truly felt relaxed and euphoric for 30 min afterward at least. The next morning my REM sleep (track by fitbit) showed a 7% increase even though I had just 6.5 hours of sleep that night! So truly incredible. Disclaimer: This is my first professional massage session in about a decade. Overall, excellent

I’ve been to Urban Zen 2x since moving to Tampa and Samantha is incredible! She is extremely knowledgeable and always makes my back feel better. I’ve also gotten a facial by Bella, and it was the best and most relaxing facial of my life!! Highly recommend. I love the boutique feel of this location.

Urban Zen is a Wonderful, wonderful place and I cannot wait to revisit. If I were able to sit and have coffee in the building, just because the sky was blue, I would. I had great experience with Cecilia! She is knowledgeable, personable, and just downright kind. I will be sending my husband ASAP, I left with a gift card for him, shhhh. I really just loved being in such an incredible atmosphere with a phenomenal group of people. I also met Elena, who was extremely graceful and patient with me throughout the process of getting an Appointment Setup. it is not often that I get to experience such treatment! 🖤

I don't often do massages but had a particularly long, stressful week at work where I spent alot more time sitting in a small space and didn't have alot of extra time to exercise. Booked at Urban Zen with Miranda at the end of the week and it was wonderful. She made me feel at ease and I was very comfortable the whole time, felt much better afterwards. Can't wait to go back and book with her again soon!

I got a facial from Abby and WOW. She is an absolute legend in the Tampa Bay Area. She does a great job assessing what treatments would be best for your skin and adjusts the service based on what you need. The hand mask is unbelievable, get ready for the best dry brushing of your life, massage, hot stones, perfect pressure, amazing extractions and hot towels, and then some more hot towels lol! Book a facial with her and get hooked, your face will thank you!!!

I have visited this location a few times and have received services from Cecilia Tran, Bella Jackson, and Miranda Sears. First of all, their prices are extremely fair for the time, products, and quality that you receive here! That was the first thing that brought me in. After attending the first time, which I will admit I was sketched out at first because the establishment looks like someone's house, the vibe inside is entirely different! It's quite, calming, professional, and CLEAN! There is always someone to greet you even if they can't get to you immediately. They have all communicated with me, asked questions, and have checked in periodically. They also do their best to answer any questions you may have. I absolutely hate driving into downtown, seriously, but I make the drive just for this spot!

I just had my first massage with Urban Zen and it was great. I did a two hour session with Cecilia and was still wanting more! Already booked my next two hours with Cecilia. From a massage quality standpoint, she took her time in all the right areas I needed the most work. On numerous occasions, I noted how she went to exactly the right amount of pressure without crossing the line into too much. What I really love is when the massage therapist thinks of the massage in three-dimensions, not just leaving me flat on the table. Cecilia did this throughout the massage. She brought my arms and my legs off the table to work in different ways on my thighs, calves and feet, and then to incorporate my favorite part of any massage, she added numerous stretches to get at range of motion issues I have due to arthritis. She's my new "go to"!
