I’ve been coming to this salon for years, and it’s always been a great experience! The stylists are amazing—super skilled and friendly. They always do a fantastic job with my hair, and they’re great with my kids too. I also love getting my eyebrows and nails done here. The service is consistently excellent, and the atmosphere is welcoming. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a salon that does it all!

worst place for men haircut. It seems the barber treated me differently, something I’ve never experienced elsewhere. Even though I tipped well, my haircut ended up uneven. I wouldn’t recommend this place for men’s haircuts

I am an overweight person who loves short hair. But finding someone who cuts it short and makes me look cute is hella difficult. But the ladies here made it happen. They also cut my babies hair and styled it, they even gifted her a bow. My husband also got a haircut. The process was fast and the results were amazing! They’ve gained 3 lifetime customers for sure.

I been there so many times, the service is really good . (Vivian , Christy and all the employees) they are really kind and helpful. They customer service is the best. I am getting a men hair cut and pumps my hair they charge me only 60$ . The price and the quality that you get and styling that they make for you it really work it. No complain . They also did my nails free while I am waiting for my girls-friend doing her hair. And try ask me if I am hungry and bring the food and buy the food for all the customers that doing hair on that day. They really nice . It really likes family store. Whenever I need my hair cut I always want there and always recommend all my friends to them . The prices are really affordable . And they ask you and explain to you before you they did your hair, if you say yes they start doing it . I really live that point . And they also give me free shampoo after hair cut . I don’t know other customer. They are lovely. Men hair cut I think it 20$ and pumps they only charge me 40$ and give me a leave in hair curling conditioner.

I loved this place, came back multiple times, and I even brought my family and friends. However, already twice, they scammed me of money. I pulled out the exact change from my bank PLUS $20. When I went to pay I gave her my exact total, this included a hair dye and cut. I paid for my friend and my sister as well, while I don't remember the exact total since this happened about 2/3 months ago. I paid it all and again had the 20 left. she walks away with the cash and comes back about 2 minutes later saying I owe her $20. When I explained how much I took out she disagreed (she was not rude at least) and said I still owed her. I ended up paying the 20 extra because I was doubtful of myself, when I checked my bank statement I realized I was right and should still have $20 left over but by the time I checked we had left. This same day, my family member also got her hair dye done. They sent her home with the tin foil still on and said wait 2 hours and then wash it off. I really think that they should have done that, they said they wanted to close early. I get we did come in later. 100% understandable, I work in customer service as well so I understand the frustration. HOWEVER, we all asked her if she had enough time to get all of our hair done. We did not pressure her at all so she could have said no, but she said it was doable. Yet my relative walked out with her hair still processing the color, not only did she overcharge us but she did not even finish her work! I was beyond upset this day. I had come to her salon many times before and to see her do this again made me feel super bothered! Before this I went to get a cut and a shampoo, I ended up paying $100, I believe it was 30 for the shampoo and 40?30? for the hair cut. She kept the change! Thinking it must've been her tip! That day I remember being in a rush so I thought she's done such a good job I guess we'll leave it like that. Last story. I went in twice to get a perm from her. 1st time was great! She charged me about 60, such a steal! I went in again. she charged me 90!! when I brought this to her attention she said it's because I'm getting a "special treatment." I did not ask for that. She took it down to 80, still 20 more than last time, and it was not any different! she did the exact same things. Now it is foolish of me to keep going back to a place where I know they take money from me, but I really wanted to give her the benefit of the doubt. They are decent at cutting, but I don't think it is worth getting scammed repeatedly for 1 cut. I'm very disappointed and wish they would stop this.

No appointment and I got a fantastic wash, cut and blow dry in less than an hour, VERY affordable. Staff is super kind!

My hair looks terrible. Unfortunately I don’t know her name, but she has long hair and bangs. I hate my hair cut I spent money to get mad. Now I will have to fix it. She destroyed my hair.

The women that work here are so sweet and do a great job. I usually hate going to hair salons but the women that work here made me feel at home. They helped fix a bad hair mistake that I made and for that, I am thankful. They also did a great job on my boyfriend’s hair.

Found this place on yelp. I decided to give it a try because it's near where I live and I have been in need of a hair cut for some time now. Other reviews mentioned that they accept walk ins and that Vi is very fast! Two very important things in my case, since I had to bring my baby with me. It is a small salon, and aside from Vi, there were two other ladies working there. One was helping with shampooing and blow drying, and the other seemed to be doing mani/pedi stuff. I was relieved that they were in fact able to accommodate me as a walk in. One of the ladies immediately washed/conditioned my hair and after showing Vi a photo of what I wanted and giving a brief explanation, she was zooming with her scissors. She seriously is so fast and all the while having conversations with multiple people, in English and Vietnamese. After cutting, she then blowdried and styled my hair without me even asking. In the end, she only charged me $40 (this does not include the tip I gave to Vi and the lady who washed/conditioned my hair). I consider this to be a steal considering my hair was literally all the way down to my hips. I am honestly not that picky when it comes to my hair, but my hair also grows pretty fast and is low maintenance. I asked for layers because I do have some hair loss after having a baby and have noticed that my hair was looking quite flat. I am satisfied with the results and was astonished that the entire process took about 30? 40? minutes max! Amazing because my baby probably wouldn't have lasted much longer in his stroller, lol. If you are in a time crunch, and aren't looking to do anything crazy with your hair, I definitely recommend this place. Super fast and price isn't outrageous. Will be coming back!

Highly highly recommend, I walked in and Vi cut my hair so quickly and beautifully. I showed a photo of the cut I wanted and received the exact same one. Previously I did the same thing in a Ktown salon and the stylist did whatever he wanted so I ended up with a haircut I hated. Not the case at V S Hair Salon, they actually listened to me and also understood my thin hair, had very reasonable prices as well! Coming back soon for my second cut. Thank you!!

I'm so happy I stopped in to get a haircut here, I definitely intend on returning! Not only did I love the cut + hair treatment, but the staff was incredibly friendly and kind. (When my glasses broke in the middle of my haircut, my hairdresser walked me to the nearby glasses repair store in the rain. I honestly almost cried.) I'm just so relieved I was able to find a great salon in LA with great prices too!
