Adriana did an excellent job with my gel pedicure. My feet feel nice and smooth and no smudges. Tatiana did an amazing job she's really good at doing acrylic nails and designs. Thanks lady's 😍 👏 👌 🙌 ❤️

Charged $30 to take acrylic nails off, did so with a metro card, even though I said it hurt they persisted. Crappy acrylic nails, pedicure ended up paying over $230. Was not worth it. Stiffness super rude, condescending and uncompromising when it came to pain levels (metro card). Would not recommend

This place simply over charges. They will be sneaky on what they will charge and make up an amount . Make sure to look at their price menu and question their “up” charges they explain. Lousy responses by staff and bad customer service.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! COMPLETELY UNSANITARY! I got a nail fungus after a manicure there. I also saw remnants of skin from previous customers on the tools they are using, even when they came out of the sterilizer. I contacted the business but they never replied. Horrible experience.

I had such a wonderful experience with Maritza. Loved my gel manicure and classic French pedicure. She took great care to make sure my pedicure did not get ruined and even customized my nail color to match. It’s so hard to find great service in NYC, but you will find it here. Was treated with so much kindness and care.

I recently visited Vada Spa and Laser for a gel manicure. This was my second visit to the salon, and unfortunately, it was disappointing. I got my gel manicure done on a Sunday (on my birthday) By Tuesday, two nails had already chipped. I went back on Wednesday, and they fixed them without any issues. However, things went downhill from there. By day five, one nail's polish completely fell off. By day eight, two more nails lost their polish, and by day nine, a few more had fallen off as well. By day 11, eight nails were completely without polish. Gel manicures are supposed to last at least three weeks, but mine barely lasted a few days before falling apart. I expected better quality and durability from a professional nail salon. I appreciate the staff's willingness to fix the first issue, but overall, the experience was frustrating, and I’m hesitant to return

I’ve been going here for 4yrs and I’ll never stop! This is my go-to place for deep tissue massage, facials, waxing, laser hair removal, and tattoo removal. The prices are fair for the location, cleanliness, and excellent service. I cannot recommend Vada Spa enough!!!

This is my very first google review. I had to express how unsatisfied I was with my experience at Vada. Gel manicure was poorly done. First of all it only took 15 mins from start to finish for the girl to get my nails done. Day 8 two nails were peeling so I called and they agreed to have a polish change for free for those two nails. A different girl took me in this time, those two nails of course ended up being in a different color than the original ones, but it didnt bother me much. Day 9 more nails were peeling and I didn’t bother to call them again as I simply don’t have the time to go back nor was I willing to tip again for something that should’ve last me 3 weeks if they did a god job at the first place. Pics are at day 20, index and middle finger on my right hand were from the polish change.

Vada is the best salon in New York City and worth every penny. The environment is beautiful and the staff are lovely, professional, talented, and helpful. Tatiana is the best waxer I’ve ever found and I’ve had a standing appointment with her once a month for years. GO HERE!!!! :) ❤️❤️❤️

I went there for a gel manicure and pedicure today. The person started with the pedicure and finished the entire thing in just 3 minutes, then immediately started applying nail polish—even though my cuticles were still visible. Out of respect for their work, I didn’t say anything, but I decided to cancel my manicure because the customer service was handled so poorly. When I went to check out, I mentioned my experience, but they still charged me $67. It seems like they don’t care about keeping regular customers, as long as they can charge as much as possible.

The massage was absolutely perfect, but the overall experience left much to be desired. My 75-minute facial lasted no more than 55 minutes, and I was left waiting for around 30 minutes after my massage without any communication or updates. Additionally, there was a discrepancy in pricing—I was initially shown one price on a leaflet but later charged the website rate, which felt misleading and unfair. This kind of inconsistency and lack of transparency does not inspire trust in customers. I hope management addresses these issues to ensure a better experience in the future.

The services are good but prices are extremely high. Simple haircut and colour of shoulder length thin hair for ~$300!? That too after a so called 15% discount. The same service with groupon is being offered for $97. Charging triple to a regular customer will not help you retain them. Their staff is great but not worth the exorbitant price.

Been going here for 17 years front desk always greets me with lots of love .. the ladies that work there are truly the reason why I stay loyal here they work fast and with my busy schedule I definitely need to hop in for a Brazilian wax and out in a jiffy! Unprofessional, unsmiling, and pushy front desk and staff. Agreed—they will repetitively demand clients for gratuity with condescending tone—despite the fact gratuity’s issued voluntarily at the sole discretion of clients. SOLE. Front desk older woman lacks class/education. Tattoo removal is 5-min duration. Clients tip for facials, massage, services, etc when and IF we’re satisfied with the service shown. Instead of providing straightforward service, like professionals would, Anastasia showed she was angry with a passive aggressive (lol) tone to repeatedly request what numbing cream I applied to my (own) body because I turned down theirs inflated at $50.00 with unknown ingredients. You presented an option. CLIENTS choose to opt in or out; never staff. You don’t own my body. Move the location to TX if you want to issue authority over mine. Unprofessionalism is beyond. Too many scowling staff sitting at empty manicure stations on their phones here. Such a plethora of professional med spas in the city to tolerate paying unprofessional staffing who provides unpleasant experience(s), twice in a row. I tipped the second—and happily final—time and canceled my third appointment. Vada lost a client for life. -Native New Yorker (and new loyal “Alchemy 43” client in Flatiron). Paying slightly more but a professional world, class and service above and apart! Night and day. Erica has the best hand and well trained. Don’t lower yourself to tolerate unprofessional behavior from a B-grade spa here.

Never let them touch your hair! I’ve done nails here for years and been happy with my experience but I bought a Groupon for a single process hair color and had such an awful experience that I’ll never return. First of all they charged me more than double the Groupon and refused to give me any price estimate prior to arrival. Then it took almost four hours because the colorist was moving so slowly. This was especially frustrating because I had told them I needed to leave by a certain time and was repeatedly assured that I would be out on time. The worst part though was that the colorist refused to believe that I’d never dyed my hair and completely messed up the color as a result. It looks absurd and now I’ll have to redo it. And to make matters worse, when I asked for a complimentary wine for my friend (who ended up sitting with me for the last hour since it was taking so long) the front desk manager yelled at me. Sadly since some of the staff is so rude, unprofessional, and incompetent, I will go somewhere else for my mani pedis from now on.

I have been coming here for a few years now and I love it. Everyone is lovely and welcoming. I get my nails done here and massage and facial too (with Dinorah bc she has magic hands) I only get my eyebrows done here and ONLY with Ira bc she’s amazing. I have never had a bad experience at Vada Spa.

It was a good experience overall with one minor mishap. I picked this place because my friend got me a gift card from this location and the gift card included the tip. The technician also asked me for tip separately from Zelle or Venmo. I specifically asked her if the tip was included in the service and she said no, but once I got to the front desk they said differently. I asked the front desk for the tip back as store credit and they kindly agreed. If we are evaluating in terms of service and crisis management, then this was a good experience, but in terms of integrity, maybe not

When I first walked in, I was greeted by several pleasant women at the front desk and immediately directed downstairs to my service. This is the cleanest and most beautiful salon I have ever been to. On the lower floor, there is a small fountain and relaxing music where I felt like I was transported to a peaceful oasis. More importantly, I have been getting laser for years. I typically do touch ups every 3-6 months, but in the last year, the hair has been growing back almost immediately after going to my usual place. As a result, I decided to come here instead and see if anything changes. It has been over one month and not a single hair has grown back. The procedure was only 10 minutes compared to the usual 30 and far less painful. I would highly recommend coming to this salon for all of your spa needs....they have every service imaginable and you are guaranteed to feel fully rejuvenated after!!

Nails didn’t last more than 2 days. Massage was cold and not deep tissue as requested. My masseuse didn’t speak good English so it was tough trying to communicate what I needed.
