Jamila was fantastic! She incorporated stretching into my session which I’ve never had before and it was fantastic. I don’t usually have a good time the first experience somewhere, as I have to get to know the practitioner but it was like she already knew me and did exactly what I needed. 🥰

Tried to make an appointment for a massage, can’t get in for 6 weeks!? In my 20 years of getting massages, I’ve never experienced this. Warning to anyone wanting to give a gift card here for a massage, you won’t be able to get it. No online system for booking so you have to awkwardly go back and forth trying different days/times to find openings with a person, which is also a waste of time.

Anca cut my short haircut today and it's AMAZINGGGGG. I had a negative haircut experience before this one (at another salon) and I was a bit anxious. Anca had so much wisdom and still listened to what kind of cut I wanted. Safe to say, she DELIVERED! Check out @hairbyanca on Instagram to see for yourself! I reached out to them about straightening my naturally curly hair since I’m not familiar with Brazilian blowouts. They assured me this technique would keep my hair straight for at least six months. However, my hair only stayed straight for two weeks before reverting to its curly texture.

Called ahead to see if they worked with black ethnic hair because I wanted my hair colored was told it was “too black” so do with that as you will My hair is not box dyed black that's my natural hair color. I called to ask because it stated brunette and blonde hair only on the website. I told the stylist history of coloring with my hair and how it responded to it not what was recently done. I stated it had been over 3 years since I did anything. Secondly, do not assume my race or ever tell me what I am. I know who my parents are. This macroaggression is disgusting. Women of color come in all shades and hair types. It is when you only colored your bangs. Idk why accountability is hard for you but that’s not my problem. I’m sorry you’re upset with my lived experience, I also don’t care much for tokenism. Every argument you’ve made has been misinformed and based on assumptions, if a straw man is all you have there isn’t much is there? I don’t know why you felt the need to say or do all this: but I obviously am not doing services and attacking me for leaving a review is just inappropriate. Have the day you deserve. Tho thank you for completely rewording your response: just for anyone who might be reading this in the future they assumed my race, invalidated my ethnicity and completely misconstrued everything I said. I did screenshot the first reply but I genuinely don’t want to continue this nonsense. I stand by my original statement. God bless

I writing this review on behalf of my wife. Long story kind of short, we scheduled a fall family photo shoot for earlier this month. My wife went to a very reputable salon that she has gone to before for a haircut. She provided a clear picture and her expectations. Her expectations were not met. Her hair was cut at least several inches less that what she wanted. She also mentioned the stylist didn't even look in the mirror once. The haircut was very rushed and not at all what she wanted. She left feeling very dissatified and worried for the photos. I called Vadala a couple days later and explained the situation. The receptionist listened intently and assured me that they would be able to fix my wifes hair and would actually listen to her requests (something that clearly didn't happen at the prior salon). My wife had not gone to Vadala before this appointment. Lacey (hairstylist) gave my wife a beautiful new cut, and fixed the terrible haircut she went in with. She said Lacey listended and actually provided some guidance and recommendations for easy maintenance and care tips. Mandy also did a beautiful job with my wifes makeup. She came out of the appointment all smiles and our family pictures turned out wonderful. My wife was 1000% satisfied with her expericne and needless to say, has found a new salon. Crisis averted! Thank you!

This place is so amazing! It’s clean, staff is amazing, and the owner is the sweetest person ever! All of the stylist and so wonderfully talented, you can’t go wrong with any of them! They are also all knowledgeable about any and all hair types.

Very impressed with this salon! I recently moved to West Michigan and have been searching for a blonde specialist that cares about my hair integrity while still getting the perfect blonde that I want! I think I finally found my go-to salon with Vadala. The whole appointment was super straightforward with Tessa (she is a blonde pro!). She explained everything that she was doing with my hair throughout the whole appointment. I felt beyond comfortable with my hair in her hands! My blonde came out beautifully, I have not been this happy with my hair in a LONG time! Thank you again to Tessa, very excited for my next visit!!!
