Nicholas did an incredible job making me blonde again! I’ve been on and off box dyeing my hair brown and black for a few years and he was able to give me a full head of highlights without any noticeable damage. He was precise and took his time with the process making sure he got every bit of hair that needed to be done. During the process he talked me through what he was doing and made me feel very comfortable:) I always have an amazing experience here but this time really did it for me … thank you again!

I came out like a new person after getting a haircut with Gina. I showed her the style I want and she gave me exactly the same cut. She even styled/curled it for me to make it the exact style in the photo. She also showed me how to style at home. She’s very kind and gentle. Highly recommended.

I absolutely love my cut & style by Nicholas. The stylist took the time to understand my preferences and provided thoughtful recommendations tailored to my face shape and hair type. The attention to detail was remarkable, and the result exceeded my expectations!! The salon’s ambiance was CLEAN, modern, and welcoming, which added to the overall experience. I’ve previously came for a blowout which was wonderful so I think all of the stylists are incredibly talented.

Really poor service. Their stylists are super cocky and do not give you the time and patience you need when it comes to such an important thing like hair. Recently I went to get my hair colored and the stylist didn’t have any recommendations, was in hurry, made comments like ‘oh you have a lot of hair on your head, it ll take me a while so decide fast’ - This was within 5min of sitting on that chair to discuss my needs. I wish they do something about their staff and hire right fit that are needed in service industry.

Wow!!! After years of searching I finally found a hair salon I can keep coming back to after my first try! They understand my hair needs, LISTEN, ask questions, and LISTEN some more, make suggestions and aren’t pushy with insisting what I “‘should’ do right here and today”, but more like “when you’re ready come back and we’ll try xyz”… and it’s in my neighborhood! Easily made an appointment through their website. Got confirmation texts and a call letting me know I could come in earlier if I wanted to. EVERYONE in the salon, including the young lady who washed my hair and the gentlemen, has beautiful hair! All kinds of textures, highlights and colors. It helped me feel at ease knowing this crew KNOWS about hair and take pride in their profession. I was randomly placed with Maggie, who is a dream come true for me! Being Dominican/ Puerto Rican, having a fellow Dominican take care of me in midtown is a blessing. Although I could’ve easily been taken care of by anyone else at the salon and feel they would’ve done a great job too, I felt even more at home with Maggie. I showed her the length and style I wanted and she delivered! Today was my first time here and I’m definitely making this my home base hair salon. Their prices are also very reasonable for the area. No need to go anywhere else, thankfully! Remember to tip both your hairstylist and hair wash station specialist 🙏 they more than deserve it! If you don’t have cash the salon has a great system for tipping, easily providing each employees personalized Venmo at the front desk iPad.

nicholas is absolutely amazing and gave me the haircut of my dreams! such a relaxing experience, such a great price and nicholas is an absolute master at cutting bangs. he looked at one reference picture and immediately knew what i wanted. 10/10 experience

Gina really is a hair doctor! My first time coloring my hair and she transformed my hair from plain to fabulous! Very easy to talk to and really took care of me and my hair. Great experience and will be back again! A little pricey but the results were worth it. I’ve gotten so many compliments on the color and style. Thank you Gina!

I went in to see Gina for a full balayage after not being happy with the last couple that I had gotten. She knew exactly what I needed and took the time and effort to make it perfect. Inspo photo on the right and my actual haircut on the left. I’m very happy with it.

I have been coming to Jet and Valantino Hair Salon for many years. Gina, my stylist, is fantastic. She takes the time to understand the requirements and provides her advice on what would suit my hair the best. Her attention to detail and skillful technique is amazing. The salon itself is clean, stylish, and welcoming. I can't recommend Gina from the team enough!

I have been coming to Shawn for over a year now for color and haircuts. I first found Valentino & Jet after my hair was over processed by another salon and needed a color correction. Shawn has helped me completely restore the health of my hair and it looks better than ever! The salon experience is also a relaxing environment, and everyone is friendly. I highly recommend Shawn if you're looking for someone who is talented, creative, and professional.

I just got my haircut with Sean and he did such an amazing job! My hair was very dry and lifeless so I told him I wanted layers and he did exactly that and more! I didn’t even expect him to style my hair the way that he did so that was also a bonus. I also got so many compliments on my hair. I can’t wait to go back next week for a partial balayage and see what he does with my hair 😻 everyone was also very kind. Thank you so much Sean!
