Valerie is extremely rude and unprofessional, she had the audacity to talk very poorly about another client’s hair to a complete stranger. She only takes her time on clients that she either knows or likes. I recommend you get your money back and DON’T go to Valerie, I wanted to give her 0 star rating but I had to select one star just so I can voice my factual opinion!!

I have been going to Valerie‘s salon for many years and every time I went, Valerie and the rest of the staff has not fail me. I was always pleased going there getting my hair done. I love the service and they welcome you with welcome arms, and to me, they always been professional, this is the best salon I have went to in Brooklyn thank you Valerie and your staff for making me feel welcome 🥰👍🏽🫶🏽💪🏽🌹

Valerie is a hard working and talented person and her prices are reasonable, give her a try. I travel from PA to NYC cause she is the only one that can do my locs the way I like them and they look good.

I came in was greeted nice . While I was waiting I seen she was taking her time with the other lady so I thought she was going to do a good job.She told a girl that looked like her daughter to flat iron the edges of my hair . I was doing a ponytail . Valerie then took the hot come and started pulling my hair out with it . She rushed my hair . Then she put a brown rubber band for office supplies that you would use to tie a garbage bag or hold two books together . I would not recommend she takes her time with certain people and she rushes with people she barely knows . I will never go back again .

When my stylist retired I was at a loss and I was recommended to her. My hair breaking bad and I thought I'd have to cut it. My pocket wasn't emptied and I'm on my way to growing my hair back now.

Great experience and service at Ms Valerie's. All the staff there were very nice and made me feel at home. She moves very fast. I was in and out in no time. She started on my head right away. I am now a permanent customer and would recommend her to anyone.
