I had my eyebrow microbladed by Vallyn about 5 years ago. Unfortunately, they were done black when my hair is brown and within about a year, my ink faded to blue/black. I waited for years hoping they would fade away, I have to draw over them to try to mask how messed up they are. I've gone to 2 high end brow specialists recently that both told me that they were done too dark and thick to do color corrections on. Mainly because the wrong ink was used for the microblading process. I was also told that I wouldn't not be a good candidate for saline removal, because they were done so deep it would take several sessions with no guarantee of fully lifting. My best option is to go through the laser tattoo removal process which can cause blistering, scarring, and loss of my real eyebrow hair. Along with 3-4 weeks of healing. It's been awhile since I've had my eyebrows microbladed here so maybe her technique has improved. Regardless, I would proceed with caution if you are having permanent makeup done here. It might be more permanent than you expected.

I love Val! She does amazing work! My facials are always done right! Even when I have questions she has the answers! I trust her and my face is amazing! I love my lashes as well! Need to get them done again. She has her own mineral makeup that I felt so beautiful wearing and I love that she sells it! Also her zit cream really works if you have acne! She takes her time and explains everything you want to know! I promise you will not regret it! She is the best!!!

I bough 2 microneedling sessions through Groupon. She is really hard to get a hold off the very first time and the second time I had to cancel the Groupon because she never got back to me. Very irresponsible Groupon seller!

I am so lucky I found this place! Vallyn is amazing. I started going there because I loved the way she did my girlfriends lashes. After that I was hooked. She does my hair, microblading, microneedling, and of course lashes. I am super particular about who I let work on me but she has such a good sense of style and she really listens to what you want. Just like I asked my microblading came out beautiful and natural looking. The microneedling has already taken a good 5 years off my face, especially my forehead and my hair and lashes look great and well kept. Not only that but she worked with me on a monthly rate for everything I need. A true keeper.

Let me just say that, Vallyn is awesome!! I had a very bad experience at a previous location the day before with my eyelashes, that i needed to have them removed ASAP. Vallyn, did not have any available appointments for the day, but agreed to see me a half hour, before her first appointment to help me. She made me feel comfortable, and was very friendly. I was so thankful she was able to help me. I will definitely be back to have her do my lashes. Thank you so much!

Vallyn does a great job! She regularly waxes my brows and facial hair. I have had numerous compliments on them from friends and even strangers. She microbladed my eyelids giving me permanent eyeliner - top and bottom. They look very nice and not having to buy or apply eyeliner is GREAT! Highly recommend this delightful young lady for any hair or face work you might need done.

Vallyn’s work on everything but your eyebrows is pretty sufficient. However, I have to share just how AWFUL her microblading is. I would highly recommend against going here. Her microblading prices have seemed to increase since I had them done (I paid around 300) and it is definitely not worth it. The strokes are very thick and don’t look like real hair at all. My eyebrows also came out very uneven. And the pigment became some weird blue grey and I now have to have them removed.

I went to Vallyn for microblading and I am totally disappointed with my brows. My brows are completely uneven. My left brow comes down farther than my right brow. I am having to get them corrected by another professional. Although she was very nice I would not recommend her for Microblading services.

A+ for permanent lashes, but Microblading F... What made it worse is when the owner tried convincing me that she hadn't screwed up, one brow was hire then the other, I totally freeked out. She charged $380 for the Microblading think I may have been her first eyebrow client. (She was extremely nice) but that quickly changed when I ask for a refund, she did reimburse me after offering to give half back. I sent her a few pictures as they were healing and she ignored me. :(

I found this place by a Groupon, and set up an appointment earlier to have my hair cut and styled and I must say she DID AN AMAZING JOB!! I generally haven't been to a salon in a while because it's hard to find good ones.. But within the first few minutes I knew I had found my haven. She is extremely knowledgeable, kind and just great at her job. My hair looked fabulous!! She even took the time to show me how to style it. I am truly glad I found this place because I will not going ANYWHERE else!! I highly recommend her!!!!!

If you are in Raleigh and not seeing Vallyn for your hair you are making a mistake! I am new to the area and was afraid for someone new to touch my hair... I am blown away with how skilled she is. I received a keratin treatment and when the product was waiting to be washed out she said "hey want to get your brows done?" And they turned out AMAZING. Also the keratin treatment turned out better than I could ever imagine! If you need a one stop salon that does everything, Val is your girl!

Oh my goodness!! I loved my experience at Vallyn Hair!!! Vallyn took me at the last minute and did an absolutely beautiful job!! I had a cut, color, and eyelashes. She was so sweet she colored and shaped my eyebrows for free! She gave great advice on how to do get a hair style quickly, and keeping down frizz. She was just so lovely and sweet!! She has cool hair holders that help with curl and frizz. Go to the main Sola Salon entrance and walk inside of it. Then walk around to studio #111, which is Vallyn's studio.

Vallyn's work on my hair was amazing! I searched all throughout Manhattan Beach for just the right hair stylist and I was lucky enough to find Vallyn. I asked for a men's haircut that would look good without any product and Vallyn created a masterpiece that made my hair feel sublime!
