Linsey Gutierrez is amazing! My daughter absolutely insists on having her do her eyebrows, and I can see why. Linsey is professional, attentive, and truly skilled at what she does. She takes her time to ensure perfection and always delivers fantastic results. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for top-notch service!

Wonderful salon! Great vibes. Owner too! I hadn't had my hair done in over 5 years. Let me tell you my hair is difficult. Thin and unmanageable. I saw Madison and she was like a magician on my hair. The cut was perfect. She listened to me, not taking to much length and still gave it bounce and it flatters me. I used a Groupon and she didn't treat me any different then if I paid full price. I'm very happy I found her . It was somewhat of a drive from where I live but I'd gladly make the trip because of her skills. Color is her thing fyi! Thank you so much!

This is by far one of the top hair salons I have ever been to. They truly care about you. The place is clean, friendly, professional and always well decorated. The staff from the front desk to the hairstylists are the best there is. Tina who does my hair is amazing, I have been seeing her for years. I drive over an hour monthly for her to do my hair, which is color, cut and style. Thank you Valon Salon & Spa. You are the best!!!!

I absolutely loved my time here! Everyone was so friendly from the moment I walked in. Jenny was my stylist and she was amazing! She made sure she clearly understood what I wanted and constantly asked me what I thought throughout the haircut. She executed every little adjustment I requested perfectly! I left with the exact hair I envisioned for myself, and I wouldn't have been able to without Jenny's meticulous care for every detail. I will most definitely be coming back again!

I’ve been here twice now, once for a haircut and once for waxing, and I had a great experience both times. Everyone is very friendly and welcoming right from the moment you walk in the door. The stylist who did my haircut was very sweet and talked to me extensively about my hair history and goals before starting the cut. She also recommended several products that would be beneficial for my specific hair type. The salon keeps a variety of products in stock, so I was able to buy one of the recommended products on my way out the door. The pricing was reasonable, and I believe they mentioned that they offer price matching as well. My wax appointment was equally as wonderful. I am usually nervous about trying out a new spot for waxing, but Linsey was very sweet and made me feel very comfortable. The service was quick, and I was in and out in less than 45 minutes. I can’t say enough good things about my experiences and I will be back again soon!! If you are looking for a reasonably priced place salon who cares about their clients, this is the place to go.

This was my first time at Valon Salon and I had a new stylist. It was a wonderful experience. Jenny listened to me and my hair turned out lovely. I have already made an appointment to return. Lovely atmosphere in the salon. They make you feel very comfortable.

I went yesterday to this salon for the first time. I wanted my hair colored. Kiki did my hair. She was very nice, patient, and seemed to enjoy coloring hair. I wanted my hair colored to end up brown. Well, the color came out looking black, way too dark. So she took the time to lighten the color and now it looks red to me. Totally hate the color. I waited 8 months to get my hair colored because I feel it is just a waste to keep spending money when you don't get the color you want. I'll try the salon one more time and if I still end up with a color I don't like, I'll just go without coloring my hair for about a year again. Afterall, all the chemicals you put in your hair are not safe for your hair anyway.

Kiki was phenomenal! I was kind of nervous because it had been awhile since I had my hair colored. However she walked me through every step and she was really thorough in my consultation. She explained to me how long the foils would be in and she explained hair care for color maintenance at home. Additionally, Kiki had great recommendations for curl care at home. She really knew how to style my curls afterwards as well. I booked my next appointment same day! Cannot recommend enough.

I moved here from out of state last year and was struggling to find someone to color/cut my hair. Then I found Valon Salon and Dana! She's wonderful, understands what I need and want, and easy to talk to. Bravo!

I had a pedicure and manicure from Tara. It was wonderful. She is very careful in what she does and never rushes so there are never any little cuts. She helps me in any way she can and just makes the whole process very pleasant. I am very sorry she will be leaving at the end of the month and I wish her well but she will surely be missed.

I live in CA and was back in VA for a couple months and needed a hair stylist. My daughter reached out on a FB page and Sarah responded and called me at home after hours to see if she could meets my needs. Very friendly and very attentive to what I wanted done. She did not disappoint. I would highly recommend her.

I moved to the area last year and was struggling to find someone to color/cut my hair UNTIL I found Sarah!!! She is absolutely amazing. She is thorough in making sure she understands exactly what you want and executes it with absolute perfection. She also has a beautiful personality and is so fun to chat and laugh with while she does your hair. I have never been happier with my hair, since I started seeing Sarah!! She is the BEST!! I would give her more than 5 stars if I could!

My cut and color today came out perfect. Been going to Valon Salon for over 20 years now and I am always happy with the results and the staff is always helpful and friendly. My 11 year old son is now going for his hair cuts and we are both happy with the results.

The salon is beautiful, and I highly recommend Sarah, if she’s available! She has been cutting my hair for years and is an amazing stylist and colorist. I have had the best haircuts and styling from her, I just show her a picture and she takes it and makes it “me” and makes it work for my face shape and hair type. She’s also just fun to chat with! I’ve referred many friends and colleagues to her.
