I had such a great experience with Daniel and Maggie! Daniel gave me an exceptionally cute French Bob and Maggie created some beautiful highlights for me. It was evident that Daniel and Maggie’s technical skill was top notch. Both stylist sought to understand my vision, considered challenges like thinning hair and grow out, to deliver a great result. Both were professional and kind. The salon was exceptionally clean. I look forward to my next visit!

I've been a client of VM for years, but I will not be returning. I was scheduled for a color and cut - and upon my arrival, l was told that the colorist was out, and that I was notified of this cancellation at 7:00 am. However, I did not receive any notice of the cancellation. I rescheduled for the next day. This time, I received a personal phone call and an e-mail confirming this 2nd appointment. Once again, I arrived for my rescheduled appointment, and the manager, Angel, said the colorist was out. Angel said I had been notified by text but I must have blocked their phone number if I didn't receive the text. We tested my phone number- - their phone number is NOT blocked, their e mail is NOT blocked. Angel offered no apology. She was dismissive and showed no consideration for the time and inconvenience both cancellations caused me. I understand there are call-outs. But, failing to contact me ahead of time, TWO days in a row, is totally unacceptable. I receive countless reminders of my appointments: text messages, phone calls, e mails. Warnings that should I not give Van Michael 6 hour notice if I cancel, my account will be charged in full. I received a personal phone call confirming my second appointment along with an e mail. If Van Michael can confirm my appointments, they sure as heck should be able to cancel them- that is, if they valued their clients. The arrogance and total lack of concern for my time is totally unacceptable. As is, Angel trying to fault me for VM's lack of communication. .

Avery did an outstanding job cutting and styling my hair. Her attention to detail and expertise is right on point. I highly recommend Avery for anyone seeking top-notch exceptional service!

I went to Kenny in the Sandy Springs location on my birthday my hair was beautiful eventhough the rinse didn't go as planned. The next morning my hair was frizzy and sticky look like it had not been done. I have never had this to happen before. I called the salon several times left messages just to see what products were used to try and figure out what happened no return phone call I was very disappointed I was charged 195 after being told 150. First time I had to re do my own hair after getting it done. Will not be returning!!!

I love working with Henson for my color. He does an excellent job! Better than anyone I’ve ever had. He’ll tell you if something will or will not work for you, and he knows exactly what to do to make it happen. And if I wait too long in between appointments, my hair still looks good. Henson is really a top-notch colorist. My highlights blend in and look completely natural. And for cuts, Hannah is the best, which is probably why she keeps getting promoted. I have very fine hair, and I’ve always struggled with the haircuts other stylists have given me including some really bad ones. But in my 60+ years of life, I can honestly say that Hannah gives me the best haircuts I’ve ever had. And she also gives me good styling tips to help me keep my hair looking good even on my own. My only complaint is that she’s so popular, it’s hard to get an appointment with her. Henson and Hannah deserve 5 stars plus.

This was my first time here and everyone was amazing. The service was great and everyone made me feel pampered and special. Ilya was amazing and Erica cut my hair so well. I will definitely be back

Josh is an amazing human being and an even better colorist. Always a blast spending time with him and makes my appointments enjoyable and I always love my results, without exception. He is THE BEST! Fabulously talented and a true asset to Van Michael. Avery nails my haircuts every time and her styling skills are unparalleled. She is so sweet and kind and personable. I feel very grateful that I found her and I have tremendous respect for her listening skills - she gets me and what i want my hair to look like. After not having had a professional haircut for years, she gave me a new lease on life with a modern and easy look. She is a complete doll!

I booked a haircut with Frankie today which when I arrived she told me she could not do the whole service because of my textured hair and I would need to reschedule. I had called beforehand to double check that she would have enough time and was told yes. I even booked a babysitter for this since my husband and I were going to have our first date since having a baby for our anniversary. So disappointed and felt this was discriminatory because of the texture of my hair. I left in tears so frustrated because I was looking forward to the TLC that I rarely get since becoming a mom

They demonstrated exceptional professionalism throughout my visit and the skill and technique displayed was truly impressive. The final result exceeded my expectations, and my hair looked and felt amazing. Avery consistently exceeds my expectations, leaving me extremely satisfied. In addition, Avery provided outstanding customer service. They were friendly, attentive, and genuinely cared about my satisfaction and it is clear that Avery takes great pride in her work and strives to deliver the best possible experience for their clients. Overall, I am thrilled with my experience at the salon and would highly recommend Avery to anyone seeking a talented and professional hair stylist.

Fabulous place! I like that the waiting room does not feel like a waiting room because you are in the middle of the spacious salon. It is very pleasant😊 I always leave in a higher vibration because of the experience to please myself in a beautiful and cozy environment

Daniel gave me a really wonderful and wearable haircut that was exactly what I wanted. Assistants Ethan and West made me feel so comfortable and relaxed. 10/10, I don’t live in Atlanta, but I will be back whenever I am in town.

I have been seeing Maddox for ~3 years now and even followed her from another salon to VM! She is so fabulous- I can’t say enough good things about her!!! She is a magician in terms of hair/coloring. She is also just a fun person with great energy in general, so I always enjoy my time in her chair. 10/10 recommend her to anyone!

Beware - they charged my debit card after a missed appointment due to illness. The manager was no help. Have been a loyal customer for years including my family and recommending friends. I will never return and I will spread the word.
