Stepping into Vanity is like stepping into a sanctuary! I usually see Samantha for my brows, but I recently tried the Quickie Hydro Facial and hoo boy, it was lovely. It was hydrating and rejuvenating, and my pores are way better. Highly recommend it! Sam’s studio is such an enchanting space, it’s amazingly curated and everytime I see Sam, it’s balm for the soul - plus your skin looks great! We are so lucky to have this small business gem in our neighborhood.

This place is great! I have been getting my eyelashes extensions and brows waxed here and they do an amazing job. I recommend if you are looking a place that cares about their customers and takes pride in their work.

Sam is the literal best! I’ve been getting eyelash extensions from her for about a year and I get compliments on them all the time. I’ve gotten facials from her as well which are always wonderful. Can’t say enough about this small business with a big heart!

I went for my first time to get waxed and it was the most pain free experience. The studio is so beautifully decorated. Samantha was so sweet and easy to talk to I will definitely be going back.

I’ve been going to Vanity for over 3 years and the service never fails. Samatha is very sweet and knows what’s she doing, from facials to eyebrow waxing and tinting to full lash extensions. I am always amazed at how all the services come out. If you’re looking to try a new place don’t hesitate!

Sam is literally the best human you actually look forward to your Brazilians just to chat—not to mention I’ve had my share of waxing and sugaring and she is top skilled at keeping it quick and as painless* as it can be. Idk what kind of wax she uses but it’s the best in comparison to other experiences I’ve had. I found her through Instagram (it’s so cute!) and am happy I did! I just left my second appt with her & will continue going back! Thank you Sam for getting me nice & prepped for Hawaii!

I just came back from my facial with Ingrid! I highly recommend. She explained what she was doing and I feel like I aged 10 years backwards after having 1 session with her. So relaxing and treat yo self! I hated facials bc I've had quite a bad time before where someone left a hole in my skin but now I'm a believer. Instead of paying 200 for a haircut I'll spend it on facials now. Thanks :)

Sam took great care of me today. She created a custom service for what my skin needed and walked me through all of it. I learned so much and had fun too. She is incredibly knowledgeable and kind. The space is gorgeous, inviting and relaxing.

A month before my wedding, I decided to book a session for a facial in order to prep my skin. Being on a bit of a budget, I told myself I’d just get the facials for the wedding. I had little intention on making this a regular thing… until the following weeks when I got so many complements on my skin. I noticed I was wearing less foundation because my skin looked amazing. I went to brunch with a tinted sunscreen and dab of cream blush once and my friends asked what new foundation I was using because my skin looked flawless. Needless to say, I’ve cut my budget elsewhere to treat myself once a month. I started out with the dermaplane and moved onto the other services— the lash lift and microcurrent + LED light therapy. I haven’t found an esthetician I look forward to seeing since 2009, so it says a lot that I’m sticking around. Sam’s energy is also a wonderful bonus. She’s funny and very authentic, and coming to her salon is like hanging out with one of your gals. Hoping to try the waxing services next. UPDATE 4/2024: edited to add that I finally got around to checking out VBC’s waxing services. I’ve gotten numerous Brazilian waxes for years but ended up stopping because of the pandemic. Knowing it was going to be painful after such a time gap, I held off for years post pandemic shut down. I eventually decided to bite the bullet and reach out to Sam for a wax. I’m always anxious when I get waxed. I have a low threshold for pain and waxing has never been a fun experience no matter what numbing creams/sprays or ibuprofen pills I take. I’m used to hard waxes and sugaring, but am literally coated with baby powder prior to these waxes. They always hurt. To my surprise, Sam started me off by prepping my skin with oil. It felt so counterintuitive, but she reassured me that her priority was to protect my skin and my skin barrier. I was worried the wax wouldn’t grip the hair, and I was being set up for pain. Well friends, it surprisingly wasn’t that bad. Brazilian waxes are nothing like the facials (which are ultra relaxing, btw) but this wasn’t as murderous as my mind anticipated it would be. Otherwise I wouldn’t be going back for more Brazilians. Sam’s cheerful demeanor and sass also is very disarming when you’re getting your deep roots ripped. I never thought I’d be ugly laughing in a waxing appointment from the most random things we talk about. Pro-tip: Sam decided to forgo required tipping and will kindly refuse. Bring snacks and treats bc she can get so busy between appointments that sustenance is always appreciated.

Got my 1st brazilian wax here with Samantha and she took care of me to the best of her abilities, making sure she was gentle and precise. She had so much patience with me since my pain tolerance is low and talked me through the process to make sure I was aware and okay with everything. I left the appointment happy with my wax :)

Impeccable services and I just love this space. If you're looking for a natural way to slow the aging process I highly recommend the microcurrent and LED light therapy combo. Best nap ever during the light therapy. Love how toned my facial muscles feel afterwards. I also love the lash lift and all the waxing. Sam is theee best. Hands down best BRAZILIAN wax ever! You will be hooked after one appointment.

Sam is literally the sweetest and most angelic woman in the world! She does my Brazilian’s and she is so wonderful. She makes the whole process quick and MOSTLY painless. She is very knowledgeable and trustworthy- it’s clear she knows what she’s doing. I also get my lashes permed by Rez and they are STUNNING seriously I am blown away every time. The studio is a gem! The atmosphere is incredibly beautiful, clean and calming. I will definitely be coming here for all my future beauty needs 😌 highly recommend!

I went for a facial in the morning before my graduation and I'm so glad I did! Sam did an amazing job and I felt beautiful and confident receiving my Associate's. It was such a relaxing gift to myself. She has the most adorable studio! I love that she plays old records on an actual record player and music from great artists. Gorgeous, welcoming new space. I have had such lovely results from Sam’s facials. I highly recommend her ReZENerate Nano Facial. You will leave glowing and refreshed. I love Sam, I cannot say enough about how amazing this person is and the people around her! I have followed her to two locations after meeting her working at someone else’s studio and seeing her growing her base and business to a flourishing welcoming space that feels more like home than a commercial space has been such a joy to see and be there for. The zen you feel around her is unreal and her work is immaculate. I love that she actually uses the products she sells and can talk you through any skin problem and help you feel educated about the products you’re using. If you need some TLC you gotta go to Vanity!
