I had a my brows waxed and dyed. While the brow dye was great, the wax they used on my skin around my brows caused a severe chemical burn. I called Veda and asked to speak to the aesthetician who did my session, but was told the General Manager would want to talk to me instead, and hear my concerns, and get me a refund. I sent an email with the pictures documenting the burns, as requested, but I never heard back from anyone. No one called or emailed--not the aesthetician, receptionist, or the GM as promised--nor did I get the promised refund. Bottom line, I would not recommend Veda at all. Not only did they burn my skin which took WEEKS to heal, they were very unprofessional and did not make any attempt to rectify the matter.

Brandy is magic. I have medium long hair and her cuts are great. She was able to fix a haircut from a different salon that I didn't think was fixable. I'm super thankful! Book w her!!

Kristy my hairdresser is top notch. Her Knowledge, skills and abilities as a hairstylists is beyond reproach! The Veda Staff are welcoming and professional. Location is ideal, very clean and has a joyful cool vibe!

The person who did my hair today was the worst I’ve ever had in my entire life. She didn’t listen to my needs and definitely needs coaching on reading body language. I was specific with her and at the end she just did what she wanted and I felt really uncomfortable approaching my needs when the time I tried she said I could just wait to pull out my phone. This is the worst experience and now I have to wait a while for my hair to grow since she cut so much of it off. I am so disappointed and angry. I’ve tried to style my hair so many ways and I hate it all. I was so specific on not wanting layers but there she goes doing layers. This person should really not be doing hair. I was trying to trust the process because I didn’t not want to believe she would mess it up so much. I know my hair will grow but I feel so angry that my needs were ignored. If I say what I want two different times please learn to listen. Even if this hair cut is what I wanted it’s still not even done right. It’s so uneven. There is no way to fix it.

Was booked with Jessica, drove 30 minutes to be told the service I booked was not available. When I expressed that I booked this appointment and stated exactly what I needed when I was on the phone scheduling, and that I was told she would be able to do it so they booked me with her; she was very dismissive and seemed like she just wanted me to get out of her chair. She just said “I don’t feel comfortable doing this service for you” which I respect to highest regard, my only ‘issue’ would be that she didn’t really give me any other option or even try to refer me to schedule with anyone else or for another day. I felt as if she just wanted me out of her chair and I left almost in tears. (Wanted bleaching service to touch up roots, and toning service after specifically mentioned such while calling, hair is definitely damaged but I had my last treatments done at Aveda. I was planning to chop 4+ inches off- she never even asked whether I would be fine with just a cut either.) I love these salons but I just wish that I had been treated a little better at my visit today.

When I arrived at Alexandra's massage therapy room, I felt as though my sacroiliac joint was being stabbed by a hot steak knife. I left without any pain. Alexandra, quietly, assessed my situation and and guided me through a few easy maneuvers that left me pain free. I have had ten years of rigorous intervention re. the painful SI-joint. In no other instance have I had an immediate relief from pain ... until yesterday! Being without pain is rare for me. My brain searches for the "something" that is missing. I have my keys, wallet, phone. Oh, it's the pain. I've lost the pain. Many thanks for a careful, knowledgeable intervention. Judy

Wonderful experience. My stylist was Fiona and I was so impressed with her. She was so pleasant, easy going, and very skilled. She knew exactly what I wanted and didn’t try to talk me into anything I didn’t want which I greatly appreciate. I scheduled my next appointment with her for a few months out and look forward to seeing her again.

Carly did an amazing job ! she took care of me and my hair and perfectly helped me bring to life the vision for the hair i wanted. i have a jellyfish cut with two long stra ds in the front and short shaggy hair up top, carly trimmed me up prior to this hair dye appointment really taking time and listening to what i had in mind for the hair cut, and when it came back around to doing the color in my hair she was super excited and tentative to detail. i wanted pink and purple stripes down my hair with that same pattern continuing down my long strands and carly absolutely nailed it. my inspiration was the cheshire cat and she totally pulled it off. im super happy with how it all turned out and i cant wait to be back to see carly. 5 stars all around.

I want to first say that I absolutely love it when I have a facial with Rose. She is very knowledgeable, caring, and comfortable to be with. I also absolutely love Christen who does my hair. I receive compliments on my hairstyle frequently. Unfortunately, I am not going to be back. I had an appointment at 4:00 this week and just as I was preparing to go, I had a really bad dizzy spell that I couldn't even walk let alone drive. Around 4:15 I received a phone call telling me I was late for my appointment. I told the young lady I had suddenly become ill and wouldn't be able to come. She reminded me they require a 24 hour cancelation and this time they wouldn't charge me. I was trying to figure out if I was having a heart attack, stroke or what, I didn't need to hear about a cancelation policy. Things happen at the last minute that are out of peoples control. I believe Veda needs to be more mindful of that. If I can, I call to reschedule or cancel in that 24 hour time frame. I cannot help it if I suddenly become ill or have a problem with the car or my job calls a last minute meeting. Again my thanks to Rose and Christen for the wonderful service you provided. But I won't be back.

I loved Veda the first time I came last year, but I’m never coming back here and warn anyone who reads this to look at the reviews of this salon before you do because I wish I would have before I ever spent any money or time at this place….. Absolutely 0 communication skills between multiple staff members. I was stuck in traffic on the way to my full highlight appointment which made me 30 minutes late and had called to warn the salon and asked if it was ok to still come in. They agreed so I made it in and showed the stylist a picture of what I had wanted (I’ll attach a screenshot of it compared to what I received). She completely agreed to the picture I showed and said it could be done. The stylist was kind but by the end all she did was the very top of my head and left my ends and the rest of my hair completely untouched. So now the front of my hair is basically white/ashy, my ends are golden blonde and the rest of my hair brown. It’s all streaky and looks like I came out of 2004. I was in tears when I got home from how awful it looked and all I wanted was to feel nice about myself again by getting a little makeover. I called and requested a redo and came back in so they could look at the hair and absolutely nothing was done about it. The manager said because I was late that the stylist had only done partial highlights and I’ll need to pay full price all over again after i’ve told them multiple times I would have NEVER come in if I had known only half the job was going to be done when they could have easily communicated there wouldn’t have been enough time for what I wanted and would have rescheduled. Why would I get something done that I never wanted??? The stylist who looked at it at the second appointment said I would need to get a full head of highlights all over again to achieve the look I wanted in the first place. I’ve never been so disappointed in a hair salon experience.
