What excites me most, though, is their team of highly skilled injectors. Having visited some of the most exclusive places in Charlotte for Botox, I always ended up with bruising. However, at Vela, thanks to their exceptional skill and precision, I’ve had zero bruising and the results are flawless! Vela is hands down the best medspa in town, and I can’t recommend them enough!

I started seeing Elizabeth at Vela exactly three months before my wedding, and it was the best decision I could have made for my skin! From the moment you walk in, she greets you with a hug—even on your first visit—and instantly makes you feel at home. At my first appointment, all I told her was, “My wedding is in three months, and I want the best skin possible for my photos.” She took the reins from there, guiding me every step of the way. Most of the time, I didn’t even know exactly what my appointment was for—I just trusted Queen Elizabeth and followed her expert recommendations. I did acne treatments with her, and she completely transformed my skin. She not only cleared my breakouts but also refined my skincare routine, fixing what I was (and wasn’t) doing. Every product she recommended has been a game-changer. I even brought my fiancé in for a treatment before the wedding, and he couldn’t believe how clear his skin looked in our photos! If you’re a future bride looking to glow on your big day, I cannot recommend Elizabeth at Vela enough. She is truly the best!

I've been a client of Elizabeth's for over 2 years now and I truly don't want anyone else to ever touch my face again and that's not an exaggeration. Not only is she incredibly thoughtful with each client, ensuring that not only are you getting the best experience in spa, but she also ensures that you have the knowledge and product recommendations necessary to help you sustain a routine at home. She never pushes products or services that you don't need, and truly listens to your concerns about your skin. I've tried a ton of the services she offers and each one is better than the last. Like I literally glow like a golden cherub for days after my facials. Not only is she a whizz with knowing all the ins and outs of the science behind your skin, but she is quite literally the nicest person I've ever met. Her cheerfulness is a breath of fresh air and even while transitioning from NoDa to South End (which was a big move involving a ton of logistics) and expanding her brand she's remained so charismatic, kind, and welcoming. All of the staff members at Vela have been absolute delights (some I knew back from the Pure Glo days) and I'm so excited to see all of the services and customer service they'll be offering new and returning clients. If you want a place where you will feel welcomed, inspired, respected, and leave with the juiciest, most dewy skin that'll make your friends jealous, then look no further because Vela is it!

I had a Glo2 Facial with Elizabeth and it was truly amazing! I also received dermaplaning + extractions and those really helped add to my glowing skin afterwards. Elizabeth was a delight and is such a talented aesthetician! She made sure I was comfortable in her clean and cozy space. Would highly recommend her and her services!

I don't even know where to start. Just go and thank yourself and your lucky stars later. Elizabeth's knowledge, care, and energy are unparalleled. If you want to be reinvigorated from the inside out, not just through your skin but through your spirit, go here! She is not your average aesthetician! I feel so lucky to be a client of hers for several years now, and I am always in awe of the quality of care I receive. I have learned so much about my skin and what I need — I don't trust my dermatologist half as much as I trust Elizabeth. The products she carries are excellent. I have tried several of her services and each one is a pleasure and has amazing results for my skin. Whatever your area of concern is, or if you're just going for pampering, you will not be disappointed. If I moved across the country I would still fly back for these facials.

Elizabeth at PureGlo Spa is incredibly educated and professional in the work of treating acne prone skin. She spent time explaining my skin type and went through all of my products that I use and identified which ones I need to stop using based on the ingredients. The spa's environment is relaxing, calming, and so chic! I can't wait to go back for my next facial!

I had the most incredible facial at PureGlo MedSpa, and it was by far the best I’ve ever had! Elizabeth is an absolute gem—I’ll be going back to her regularly from now on. She made the entire experience relaxed and really paid attention to my concerns. After just one treatment, I saw noticeable improvements in my skin, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The entire experience was top-notch, and I highly recommend PureGlo to anyone looking for fantastic skincare!

If I could give 10 stars I would!! Elizabeth is kind, caring and makes you feel at home the minute you walk in. She takes her time to give you the perfect facial suited for your skin. Then thoughtfully gave me recommendations of skin products to use and I was able to purchase right in store. Run don’t walk to this hidden gem in Noda!!!

Each visit to Pureglo is so centering and divine ❤️ It’s my favorite self-care appointment each month - I always look forward to seeing Elizabeth! Since getting monthly wellness facials and switching from (too many) low quality products to (less but) better quality products that Elizabeth recommends I’ve noticed more even skin tone and a natural dewy finish. Many of friends and family have noticed the difference and have asked what I’ve been doing. Thanks Pureglo for always helping me glo ❤️🫶🏼

After just a few months of going to Pure Glo, my entire skincare routine has been totally revamped with very high quality products. I can honestly say the difference in my skin is beyond noticeable, and friends are asking what I’ve changed. Best facials in Charlotte! Elizabeth is very knowledgeable and helpful. She does a great job at explaining the services and creating a treatment plan for whatever your skin concerns are.
