Marlee is the best, I’ve been seeing her for 3 years and followed her to Vella from her previous salon. I love the ambience of Vella, super cute and all the girls are super sweet. Great value as well!

I would never go here again. The stylist was clearly uneducated ad I spent almost $400 just to have to go pay some one else to fix it. The owner is fake as they come. Even seems to treat here customers that way. Clearly she's counting dollars. This is the worst experience in my 34 years ever. The environment is very sterile and cold and welcoming. Decor is horrible. Never ever again. Do not go here!

Today I had an emergency. I had scheduled an appointment at another salon but ran late and so they couldn’t do my hair. I needed a cut and style done in an hour because I had a photoshoot scheduled. In a rush, I called Vella to see if they could take a walk in. Not only did they take me but they are so sweet and amazing and did a cut, and a style AND the owner jumped in to do my make up for me. I felt so crappy and panicked when I walked in and amazing by the time I left. These ladies will be my go to from now on!

I called in and got an appointment for a few hours later, they were super great and friendly! Who ever answered the phone was helpful and polite, Honor did my cut today and it looks amazing! I was nervous about getting my hair cut but she was super nice and in depth about what I wanted! It looks the best it ever has!!

I have been seeing Marlee for the past 3 years or so and as long as she is working I will continue to see her. She always does a great job with my blonde highlights and hair cuts and is clearly very knowledgeable about her craft. I definitely recommend her! I do wish parking was a bit easier at the salon but other than that it has a great atmosphere!

My fiancée surprised me with the mood boost heads treatment. It was the first time I have ever gotten any kind of spa treatment, and I loved every second of it. Raegan took such great care of me, she even went out of her way to do a blowout on my hair even with short notice. She was so, so sweet. I will most definitely be coming back!

Olga is the best esthetician EVER!!! I see her monthly and my skin has never looked or felt better. I also see her for the head spa and it’s amazing 😍 So relaxing and my hair always feels so clean after.

Olivia turned my bad haircut into one of the best cut and color I have ever had! She is truly a talented stylist who listens to your concerns when it comes to your hair. For those of you who have curly hair, she also specializes in cutting curly hair, and the cut is taylored to your hair type, so it looks great whether you wear it curly or straight. I am so grateful I can call her my stylist!!!!

Honor understood the assignment!! I have thick, wavy hair and Im very particular about trying new salons/stylists. Great welcoming environment, on time appointment, and best of all Honor was really consultative to make sure she understood exactly what I wanted. Very happy with the outcome and will be back.

I had my hair cut and colored by Marlee a couple of weeks ago. She was so thorough on what I was wanting and I really appreciated her suggestions along the way. She is the sweetest individual as well which makes the hours-long appointments enjoyable! I’m definitely glad to have found her as a stylist and will recommend her to all my friends! 🩷

I really wanted to love this place. I wanted to show support to a new local business and our area. Never again. Let's start by saying it appears everyone that works here is fresh out of school and can maybe do a basic cut and color. My hair looked ish when I left. I expressed my concern for the color and was told once I wash it, it would be fine. It was not fine. I washed it 2 days later and it went from blondish to ORANGE. ORANGE!! I spent over 300 and 6 hrs getting my color corrected elsewhere. I wouldn't dare let anyone there touch my hair again. Not to mention the almost 200 I spent plust tip here. If you love your hair.. DO NOT GO HERE!

Ive been getting my haircut by Rachel for about 5 years but this salon is definitely the best one I have followed her to. I usually have to bring my kids which can be stressful but all the staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They recently held a daddy/daughter hair class to help dads learn how to do their little ones hair and it was such a fun experience. Vella is definitely the salon you want to go to whether its just your or the whole family. Not to mention they always have the best drinks stocked in the fridge!

Love Vella Salon! The location is great with plenty of parking. It has a cool vibe and really clean. The staff is not stuffy but full of energy and smiling. Obviously they are happy which makes for a nicer experience for the client. Marlee is so wonderful and talented. My hair is perfect every time. Best color and highlights I’ve ever had. I will always come back and highly recommend.

Always such a welcoming atmosphere. I absolutely love my hair after Honor has worked her magic!! I have very fine, thin hair, and she does a wonderful job getting it to a healthy blonde despite that. Everyone always has a friendly smile and I get so excited for my appointments!

First, as I came here to leave a review, I began reading others reviews and experiences. I was shocked with the first few as they were in no way reflective of my experience. I would like to point out that there are 3 very negative reviews seemingly directed at the owner all posted by within 2 hours of each other🧐🤔🤷🏼. Sounds fishy to me, but can only speak to my own experiences. I LOVE Honor! She is rather new to Vella, but comes with several years experience and an established customer base! I have followed her since her earliest days of doing hair and she is SO good with color and sweet as pie! Great location in an up and coming part of Greenville.

Marlee at Vella Salon is the best! I came in a few weeks ago needing a transformation so I got a color and cut including blended money pieces and she did amazing! I’ve never had anyone color my hair better than Marlee.

Marlee is AMAZING!!! I came to her with highlights from a different salon that had gone severely done wrong and she completely transformed my hair.
