I’ve had my nails done twice at Velvet Nails III and had a really great experience both times. I saw Jennifer and got acrylic nails and a pedicure. She did such a great job and really took her time getting the length and shape right for me! The nail salon felt clean and bright. I really appreciated the complimentary beverage too, it was so nice they had non-alcoholic options (sodas, sparkling water, etc.). I’ll definitely be back and would recommend Jennifer!

This continues to be my first choice when it comes to pedicures and manicures. Fallon, the front desk receptionist who is always there, is incredibly kind and attentive. She always greets guests with a smile even if she has to tell you there is a little bit of a wait. She is also the one who guides you to the chair you will be in for your visit and offers you a complimentary drink if applicable for your visit. Fallon's customer service is top tier! The pedicure experience is also always a joy! Work by Danny and Jennifer is smooth, effortless, and they do it all with a smile! They apologized a few times for the wait, but honestly it was not a long time at all. You can tell they enjoy what they are doing and it shows in their work! The basic pedicure is very relaxing and is a great value. They listen to your needs and make adjustments when needed. While tips are not required, they appreciate anything that is provided and they are well-deserving of any cash tip. Checkout is always super easy as well! There is no confusion about pricing and back and forth about services. They are clear, quick, and precise with no hidden fees. I also believe we met the owner and she is amazing as well! She serves everyone with a smile and even jumps in to help her team when needed. Velvet Nail Bar III is worth every penny! ♥

Made an appointment on their website which was super easy and requested Jenni lee because someone recommended me to her and she was absolutely amazing, super nice and friendly and took her time making sure everything looked perfect and shaped well. The front desk lady was also very kind and welcoming. The pricing was not bad whatsoever, what a typical place would charge. The place itself was very clean and looked very nice. Will absolutely be going back and recommend to anyone looking for a new nail spot!

Kathy has done my nails for past two years. She does excellent work, nails last at least 3 weeks,, and she is so pleasant. My husband uses Helen for his Pedicure (Relax & Rewind) and she does an amazing job to relax his size 14 feet working in construction boots everyday of the week. The facility is beautiful and staff are friendly.

Come here once a month for amazing service and beautiful nails! Joy is so talented and detail oriented. Wouldn’t dare going anywhere else. I always love her work! Velvet’s pricing is decent and the ambiance is fun and clean.

Got gel x 3 days ago and my nails popped off like as if they were press on nails in 2 days. I called and explained. They only offered for me to come back to the same person and have them fix it. I’m traveling and don’t plan on being back in the area and they would not issue me a refund. I sent photos to a number they gave me to show proof and no response. I’ll never come back to this place again.

I just left and wow!!!!! I got my nails done with dip and i’m absolutely speechless. they look gorgeous and I think I can finally say I found my salon! I will definitely be a regular here now. Kathy helped me today and I will be requesting for her every time!

THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! They are new to Lake Nona and I’ve tried every nail salon here. No one beats Velvet. They are accommodating, skilled, and extremely clean. Management knows what they are doing! I finally have a nail home. Thank you guys. Sincerely, A very happy customer. ♥️

Brought my daughter here to get her eyebrows waxed. My daughter left with extreme burns under and above her eyebrows. If I could give zero stars I would. I am extremely disappointed with the experience and she’s traumatized by the experience. Not only was she burnt, but they aren’t symmetrical; one is thinner than the other and shaped differently. We will not be back and I will ensure that it is not recommended either. There are plenty of other options locally that will ensure quality and safety.

I’ve been to this nail salon previously 3 times and have had positive experiences the first 2 times, however my last time visiting was not good at all! To start off I was kindly greeted at the door and was asked which services I would like, I then stated I would like a pedicure and acrylic nails. The lady who was doing my pedicure helped me to the foot spa and ran the water for my pedicure, shortly after she walked away for a few minutes while leaving the water running, by the time she came back the water from the foot spa overflowed all over the floor into my tennis shoes, which ended up becoming soaking wet.The nail tech asked how was the temperature of the water, I then told her the water was very cold. She proceeded to tell me that there was no hot water and that she would have to boil some water to pour into the foot bath. After the boiled hot water was poured into the foot spa the water was still not very warm. The pedicure also went by very fast as if it was rushed and the lady didn’t even include the massage that was supposed to come with the pedicure which was very upsetting, as this was a very expensive pedicure I chose. Once my pedicure was complete one of the male nail techs proceeded to do my nails. He was very rude to me and was getting upset with me when I told him that he was not doing my nails the way I asked. As I showed him a picture before he started working on my nails, he barely even looked at the picture before beginning. He also continued to put dip powder on my nails when I clearly stated I wanted acrylic nails when I walked in. My nails ended up looking nothing like the picture I showed him. He was very impatient rushing to get me out of the way that he missed a few steps while doing my nails such as cutting my real nails down before adding the tips, and trimming my cuticles. My nails are now a week old and look as if they are 2+ weeks old. My cuticles are now ripping apart and look uneven. In total I paid $187 for these services which is the most I’ve ever paid at this nail salon. I mentioned to the front desk, my problem with the pedicure, the only thing she was able to do was take off the massage that I did not receive during my pedicure. I was not offered any other discounts for my shoes being destroyed during my pedicure or my nails being incorrect. Such a waste of money! This was ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT! I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone, save your money and go to a place where they care about their loyal customers!

Visiting for the holidays and found salon on Google. This was one of the best pedicures I had in such a long time. The staff was so kind and everything turned out better than I had expected. Definitely recommend anyone to check them out you won’t regret it!
