This is my first time meeting Mayerlen and it was for a 60 minute European Facial which was long overdue for me. Needless to say, her loft provided a relaxing atmosphere, and she did a phenomenal job with my skin. It looks and feels so much better. I'm looking forward to trying out her other services in the future.

It is always a wonderful and thoughtful experience at Venus and Mars Day Spa, but it is especially so at this time when we are on high alert with health concerns. Mayerlen has facilitated an incredibly safe environment, completely sanitizing every object in the salon after each and every step. She has set in place a procedure that made me completely comfortable with having personal services done at this time. She has gone above and beyond with what is required with health guidelines. She has the greatest concern for the health and safety of her clients. At the same time, Mayerlen provides a professional and pleasant atmosphere. Venus and Mars is the very best.

Buying the gift certificate I had a wonderful experience staff was helpful over hte phone and helped customize a package for our needs. Later they informed us we needed a 2 week early appt. which would have been nice to know in advance. Later when we called to make an appointment they didnt know what the "customized gift certificate" which they had created, included. When explained I had to call multiple times to explain, the person whom I had given the gift to was upset and frustrated. Finally we got everything in order. The entire experience was very calm and the massage was relaxing, facial was lovely, my nails and toes turned out beautiful. I was a bit disappointed in the lack of smiles, some employees seemed annoyed to be there and bothered when asked for things. In previous experiences at spas I truly enjoyed feeling like the staff was happy to be there and happy to help. My nail technician and masseuse was wonderful, but the other staff seemed forced and unhappy. They appeared annoyed when ever I asked for a mimosa, which got smaller and smaller every time. I was prepared to make my next appointment as well as refer this location, until we paid, and the person working the registered practically harassed us for a tip, and when they gave cash made a terrible face about it. This was a gift certificate that should have included everything. I certainly was not expecting to give a gift and then have them need to pay additionally. This dropped the experience appreciation a lot for me. very unprofessional.

My husband purchased a gift card for an 90 minute combination massage for Christmas and I finally cashed it in, and I'm sure glad I did! Mini's massage was amazing and so was the staff at the front desk! The extras were a delightful surprised, and it was luxurious and relaxing from beginning to end. Will definitely come back in the near future! Probably purchasing one for my husband for Father's Day!

After recently moving to Tampa, I tried several other salons with varying degrees of dissatisfaction. My sister gave me a gift certificate for my birthday and I am now a loyal customer. The salon has a lovely ambiance, the care providers are personable and professional and the prices are very competitive. I appreciate the level of personal attention and interest they give to each of their customers and make sure to tell you what the specials are so you can get the most for your money. In todays busy world, I love the fact that I can go on line, click on the hyper link of my last appointment and see their schedules to set my next appointment. It is a great offering and indicative of the extra service they strive to provide each and every customer. The other women I spoke with in the salon were fellow devotees so if you have been looking for a "home" salon that provides a depth and breadth of services, performed by trained and personable professionals, Venus and Mars Day Spa is exactly what you have been looking for.

Venus & Mars has a beautiful atmosphere and very professional and friendly staff. I used to go "anywhere" for a pedicure or manicure, but now that I have experienced Venus & Mars, I don't go anywhere else. The environment is relaxing and quiet. I recommend this spa to anyone looking for a nice experience.
