I can't say enough about how much I love this place. I've been coming here for about 5 months and I love how my eyelashes look. The ladies who work here are very professional and sweet. I've never been disappointed about anything. My eyelashes always looking on point and the sweet eyelashes techs are always satisfying every request I do. I'm always asking for certain style and they always try to understand me. This is the best place in SF and I can't recommend them enough.

I wanted an appt for an evening that was fully booked and they were able to take me late in the day. thank you for being so accommodating!! Lashes came out perfect, as always! I got a Hybrid set last week in the cat-eye style and love them! They look natural but flirty, and after a 5-day beach vacation still, look intact! The beauty salon is immaculately clean and the service is super friendly.  Before u get ur lashes done anywhere else try vera beauty salon lash! I highly recommend it!

SKIN BURNS - horrible salon Update (5/2/2024): This business owner claimed that I used different accounts to leave negative reviews and threatened me via text message by asking my personal information including my name and home address, and stating that they will take legal action against me. I will never yield to such threatening. I welcome any legal actions you wish to pursue against me. However, beside my current legal action against your operations that caused my severe skin burns, I will be taking additional legal actions against any defamation against me in your responses. I have never operated multiple accounts to deliberately leave negative reviews. I also have not urged others to leave “NEGATIVE” reviews on Xiaohongshu, so please beware of the terms you used. Before you making such statements, you the business owner should first obtain evidence on the owner of these accounts. On my end, I’ll provide to the court my booking information, payment records, our communications, medical documents, and the social media account I owned, and the review I posted. I would like to notify future customers that please reconsider if you should go to this place. In my case when accident happened, this business did not apologise to me sincerely and they did not try to learn and improve. Instead, they fought me below my review publicly and threatened me privately. I wish my case could alert you. At least I know that a salon you can trust is the one that will try everything to protect you and compensate you when accident happens at their fault, not the one that will try everything to fight you in your most vulnerable time both physically and mentally. I’m unfortunate enough that I have to post this while I’m still suffering from pain and pigments around my eyes. Original review: I had a horrific experience at Vera Beauty that left me with severe skin burns and an utter lack of concern from the staff. I visited the salon for lash extensions and eyebrow waxing, only to end up with red, swollen, and painful eyelid skin immediately after the waxing session. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff tried to dismiss my concerns by claiming my skin was too sensitive. After seeking medical care, it was confirmed that my skin had been burned with hot wax. Despite reaching out to the salon about my injuries, they ignored my messages and showed no remorse or willingness to address the issue with sincerity- They never apologized for the burns and inquired about my wound conditions. The healing process was estimated to take 2-3 weeks, with risks of infections and scarring. And the burns have now developed into brown pigments around my eyes, which takes months or years to recover. I am pursuing legal action against Vera Beauty and have reported the incident to the California Board of Barbering and Cosmetology. Don’t visit this salon unless you want to risk serious harm to your skin. RESPONSE TO THE SHOP OWNER: Burns are burns. My lawyer and I are going to submit all the documents to the court and get any compensations through legal actions. All documents will be verified by the judge. I have never received any sincere and official apology so far. The way you respond my review shows how you disrespect your customers. First of all, you didn't responded to my text immediately and didn't show any serious attention to my wounds. In all our conversations, you used the sensitivity of my skin, stress of waxing, and other customers' reviews as excuses until my burns were diagnosed by the physician. Secondly, my doctors have prescribed me erythromycin to treat infections after the thermal burn around my eye lids was confirmed. The only medical offer you made is an unsterile aloe gel of unknown brand. You have been downplaying my wound from the beginning. My review is true and accurate. I have throughout documentations of our communications and we will resolve this issue in the court. Again, burns are burns. This is not the right way to do business especially when you ruined the face of your customer.

Very unprofessional staff. Extremely careless and lacking basic knowledge of the operation procedure of hot wax. Eyes got burned and no refund and no apologies after all. Just don’t come if you don’t want them to ruin your face.

We had a great experience,me and mom,at the salon doing our brows with June. She is so kind and attentive to details and cared for us with such attention. Mom loved her eyebowns(she barely had any) and mine looks more even now. Very glad we decided to have it done with her and cant wait to try other services.

Best eyelash extensions for Asian eyes! The owner is so detail oriented and takes the time to study your eye shape and style preferences. She also is just very skilled and knows what would look best. I’ve found them to be the best in the city for any Asian or monolid eyes. They really understand Asian eye shapes and have CC or even D Curl lashes which is rare. Everything is so clean and they make sure to provide blankets and play relaxing music. Highly recommend this spot. I also think the price is also the most fair in the city given the quality that they do here. I keep coming back to this spot.

I had nano hair strokes done on my eyebrows and June did an AMAZING job! I have had thin brows my whole life, but never trusted anyone to do permanent makeup. I am so glad I finally did! June checked with me every step of the process to make sure I got the look I wanted. The best part was it was painless! I highly recommend Vera Beauty Salon!

Oh my goodness. I’m obsessed with this place. I’ve gotten a facial there 2x and they were so good. And finally someone who does my eyebrows without taking off too much or leaving too much. I feel like a facial like this anywhere else would be double the price (read: a facial like this anywhere else IS CERTAINLY double the price as I’ve looked it up). Anyway get yourself to Vera. I’ll be trying their eyelashes next!
