Came in a couple days ago for laser hair removal and had a wonderful experience! I have a bundle of sessions left from my Groupon! I'm not sure why others seem impatient when trying to make appointments? Each time I called i was answered promptly, maybe they called while the worker was with a patient? Either way, I had a nice experience in the same time frame as another 1 star review that suspiciously has not reviewed anything else on that account...

This is quite truly one of the worst experiences I've had with a business in years, and it is only because there is absolutely no recourse for even a PARTIAL refund that I am finishing out the terms of my service there, because it was very much a non-insignificant portion of my income that I had saved up for a while to treat myself. Take a peek at this picture. If you were coming in to have your moustache, beard, and neck done, would you know where that fell on this list? Face isn't even an option, and Medium is your neck, so I took a roll on Large through Groupon, figuring that during the 'mandatory' consultation, they'd set me straight if I was wrong, and because Extra Large is like...your whole back or legs. Oh boy was I wrong. 1st appointment, cancelled. Laser was down for the day, totally understandable. 2nd appointment, hit some nasty unexpected traffic early in the morning, called in to say I was going to be 7-8 minutes late, and with 0 compassion was told to turn around and re-schedule. Unhappy, but hey, rules are rules. 3rd appointment, I'll 100% take the blame for: Got overly anxious the night before because of how things had already been going, overslept. 4th appointment. I show up 30 minutes early, figuring I have the consultation and paperwork to do, and absolutely do not want to mess this up again. I get the paperwork done with very little fanfare, and still nowhere does it explain at all what the sizing rules are. Came back to the laser room, sat down, and was under the machine in probably 5 minutes. Less than 5 minutes later, it was already over. I was initially excited it was so quick, but then I realized we hadn't done more than my moustache and little of my beard area, and asked about it. "Well, your face isn't your neck, you know?" She then proceeded to answer virtually none of my questions, said the above about 15-20 more times without elaborating or exhibiting even just a small ounce of compassion. I pointed out the way things were listed on the website, and of course: "Well, your face isn't your neck, I don't know what to tell you!" Mind you--again, Face isn't even a listed option. It's just been...really slimy. I feel like I was deceived from the get-go about what the pricing would be, and only truly informed after it was already too late. Though I finally did get the appointment, as others have mentioned on here, it was not particularly easy to do. While the inside looks nice enough, the outside is...a bit shady, down to the small and peeling sign. And frankly, if I had even gotten a LITTLE compassion about any of the miscommunications and missteps along the way, I probably wouldn't be on here, but both in the 2nd appointment cancellation and in office, it was almost with a grin that I was told I was completely wrong. I would not recommend this place to anyone, and again, it is only because of the money I dropped and lack of refundability am I finishing out the rest of the sessions (and now having to pony up at least $150 more dollars to get the service done that I came for in the first place). I'm sitting here and feeling my face, and honestly still feeling stubble spots all over. Truly, just a bad, bad, bad time. EDIT: Also, hella suspicious that a 5-star review specifically calling out this review came out within 24 hours. I am very much real, thank you very much. EDIT 2: Yeaaaaahhhh, after reading some of the other negative reviews and seeing the pattern of a 5-star swooping in very shortly afterwards, I'm not entirely unconvinced it's the business themselves, and now ABSOLUTELY do not trust this woman with my face. I'll be pursuing a BBB complaint instead, because this is insane, and definitely shows a place that's been running a racket for a WHILE.

The woman I met was wonderful. She was very pleasant, and professional. I highly recommend this place.

Delecia Is AMAZING. She has always been honest even when I wanted more she told me she recommended not to. Obviously wasn't in it for the money. Also the Botox is legit. I read a lot of people getting amazing deals and are obviously getting saline. It wears off in few weeks. No one can believe that my Botox works for way past 3 months because I am a bodybuilder and usually it wears off quicker for people with high metabolisms. So I know she is giving the good stuff. I have been a regular for couple years and have had filler also.

I have very dark, stubborn hair and I went to Veritas for laser hair removal on my legs, armpits, bikini and upper lip. What I love about Veritas and Delecia is that I was charged a reasonable rate up front for the service. I continued to go until the hair was gone without ever paying for additional appointments. Delecia is kind, patient and honest.

I went to Delcia for 1 syringe of juvederm which I usually get done once a year for the past 6 years but this was my first experience with Delcia. The first thing that I thought was strange was she injected half and insisted I come back for the other half.. when I got home my husband said he saw no difference within two weeks I went back for the other half syringe and i am convinced she injected saline as saline will cause swelling, here a little over a month later I see no difference. I tried calling multiple times with no answer or call back. I feel like I flushed money down the toilet and made another appointment with my regular girl I will never make this mistake again.. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!!!

I had bought 1ml of Juvederm for a lip enhancement, and while injecting, they went too deep into my face and planted the filler much deeper than where it should have been. It was extremely painful in that one spot and it became much more swollen, eventually turning into a huge lump. I was told to massage it (something the plastic surgeon I go to after this told me not to do) and ice it. A month goes by and it looks terrible and lopsided. My lips were perfectly symmetrical before letting them touch them. I reached out again, and was asked to come into the office. It was almost an hour drive (she had come to my house for the initial appointment) and the office space I was brought into was disgustingly cluttered and dirty, she handed me a mirror that was covered in presumably someone else’s saliva and numbing agent still smeared all over it. How shameful to be a “med spa ” and allow it to be this unsanitary. She told me that more filler was obviously injected into one side than the other. She was too inept to realize that she had injected too deep into my face. She recommended buying another ml of filler to even it out, as if I’d let her touch my face again. I wanted it dissolved and she said that they don’t carry the dissolver. Fast forward a couple years and the lump never went away. My lips are permanently asymmetrical. My plastic surgeon was pretty shocked and I’m planning on having a minor surgery to hopefully fix it. I’m going to be looking into what kind of doctor these nurses are working under. Do not let these people touch your face. There are plenty of plastic surgeons that actually charge the same or even cheaper than this backyard show they have going on. Absolute trash.

I am reviewing my experience with Delecia who works for Veritas Med-Spa in both Pittsburgh and New Castle, PA. Delecia injected two syringes of Juvéderm into my lips over a 1.5-month period; which entailed three visits to her salon located in new castle. After the first syringe, concern began to arise as I noticed minimal difference. After having the second, my lip volume/appearance was no different than prior. This entire experience was disappointing and not worth $1200; I am ill, and I feel like I tossed my hard-earned money into the air. What really upset me was the lack of concern Delecia demonstrated when I addressed this. After approaching Delecia with my complaint, her response was “there is nothing I can do” and “it takes time”. I told her that my lips resembled the same effect as they were prior to having anything. She didn’t care. As a practitioner of Juvéderm, I felt this response was inappropriate and lacked empathy; her reply was not compassionate nor caring as one would expect. She did not resolve the situation nor make any attempt; she was distant. Overall, I am dissatisfied was the results of my lips as they resemble the same volume and appearance as they did before receiving two syringes of Juvéderm. The first photo was taken before having anything at all. The second photo was taken after receiving two syringes of Juvéderm over 1.5 months. $550 per syringe =1200

I’m very happy with my laser hair removal experience at Veritas. I go to the new location in Neville Island. It’s neat and clean. I’m always very comfortable. The new laser is amazing. No gel or cool air. Just a little suction. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. I definitely recommend Veritas for anyone interested in laser hair removal.

Veritas Med Spa, is hands done the best place I’ve ever been too!! Delecia is AMAZING, FAIR, and always HONEST!! She will take years off your life, she listened to my wants and did exactly what I wanted!! I get more compliments from people that will say you look so rested, that I’m glowing, that I never age.......it’s all Delecia with her magic and state of the art machines and equipment. Always very knowledgeable and always continuing her schooling, keeping her up on all the newest, and best trends and products, all while being affordable to ANYONE!! I can go on forever about this place, but Delecia truly is one of a kind.
