Ale is a literal dream. She's so sweet and she explained every single step to achieve great curls. She is beyond kind and changed everything I wanted her to, getting me to the hair goals I wanted. She's 110% my hairstylist for anything after this experience. She gave my hair LIFE! Here’s the before and after :-)

This is literally the BEST salon I have ever been to. The service was absolutely amazing and my stylist made my hair exactly what I wanted it to look like. I definitely will be back. The pricing was good and my curls feel better than they ever have. 10/10 would recommend

Please remove my following appointment. Not satisfied with both services . Please do not contact me thank you. I could respond with a drawn out response but I do not have the capacity. Both cut end up not being suitable for my face nor the products suitable for my hair as it flaked again after the redo. Feedback stick with products that are suitable for all hair. Your styling products flake and dried my hair. I HATE both cuts. Do not contact me.

I walked in this place hating with my hair. It was dull, frizzy, messy, and just not me. My stylist Alaina completely retransformed my curls and I fell inlooooove with them. My curls look the best they ever have looked, shiny, defined, and voluminous. This place is pretty expensive but I'm tellin you its worth it.

Friendly great steam hair service Huge amount of products great knowledge of products beautiful atmosphere. Not much knowledge of cutting curls . Asked for a trim and 6 inches of my hair was cut off which I require as part of my job . Mentioned I liked my hair long was growing it out longer and focused on thicker hair and lengthening . My hair was about dry upon arrival burnt my face in the drier and my hair . She brushed through my dry hair with a fine comb stretching it out to cut it instead of washing drying styling first then cutting each curl individually once dry to style . She parted my hair never used the metal clips at root curly hair you crisscross at roots to dry and get volume a part should not be straight now apparent . Amount of products was 10 for sale to by to achieve the look not a smile thing of like 3 or 4 products aka the norm to get nice curls at most salons. Used hot air on curls instead i of cool defuser sit down drier . It takes a year or more to grow. My hair to what was cut I can’t pull my hair back really upset hair is now frizzy

My daughter's appointment was at 2:30 my stylist wasn't there..they took 3 and a half hours to do my 9yr old daughters hair and left her in the dryer for an hour to the point that her bottom started hurting and she was hot i had to get her from under the dryer..and they kept forgetting about her i just wish my stylist was there for her appointment so she wasn't forgotten

The customer service was amazing. I was informed on several products that could help with my daughter's hair, the staff were very professional, welcoming, and nice. The salon was very clean and organized. My daughter's hair turned out beautiful. Her stylist took her time, showed her skills, and made sure my daughter was comfortable.

I love coming to Versus. The salon is always so welcoming, clean, and friendly. I’ve been coming to Versus for about a year now but this was my first time with Alé. Alé was great and I had a fantastic service. She’s friendly and great at explaining her process while tailoring the styling suggestions to what the client does at home.

I was told my service included a cut, but my hair was not cut, it wasn't even trimmed. I paid $185 for a virgin relaxer and style when I specifically asked before paying the deposit did the $185 include a cut. I was told yes so whoever took my deposit was incorrect. I wanted my hair cut which is why I asked to make sure. I don’t get it.

Katie is amazing and so is the rest of the staff. She really took the time to understand what I wanted and came up with a great game plan to make sure I got what I desired. Everyone is so welcoming and just so full of good energy. If you’re looking for great customer service, great hair and a chill atmosphere this place is definitely for you. I chose Versus to help transition to curly hair, attracted by their claim of specialized cutting and styling of curly hair. I was comfortable with the price and the costs involved. Although I provided a photo of the desired cut, the stylist struggled to achieve the shape I wanted. I would have been okay with a close approximation, but instead, I ended up with a somewhat lopsided triangle shape. Moreover, the products used left my hair dry and frizzy within an hour of leaving the salon. I don't mind paying a premium for a service if it delivers as promised. However, I felt that I was charged more simply because I have curly hair, not because the stylist could provide a superior curly hair cut compared to a basic salon like Super Cuts.

My hair was cut way too short, with no real style. It was not even cut close to what we had discussed prior to the cut. I can’t even put it up in a ponytail to hide it. Just really disappointed and will not return.

the best place for a curly cut in the area. The staff are always really nice, they talk out their process, and make me feel comfortable and pampered. Michelle cut my hair and she listened to my goals and customized my cut along the way for the best results. I also love how she talked aloud and explained her reasoning for certain techniques. Will definitely be back

Came here as a new client and overall enjoyed the experience, especially the shampooing. However, my scalp became abnormally irritated following my visit and after washing my hair , i noticed i had heat damage in two different area of my hair. Unfortunately, I cant say definitively if it came from the person who blowdried my hair or the stylist who did my hair, Jazmine. Therefore, I will not be returning

It took me a few weeks to decide whether or not I should share a review on my most recent experience at Versus. But unfortunately this is the second poor experience I've had and will likely be my last. I have to preface this by saying I have no known allergies or skin sensitivities. I've never had an allergic reaction of any kind, I do not have eczema, and have never suffered from dandruff or chronic dry scalp. I visited Versus Salon on 1/12/24 for a wash and silk press. A few days after my service, I started to develop an extremely itchy rash at the front of my scalp. Over the course of a week it spread to the rest of my scalp, behind my ears, down my neck and onto my forehead. I finally had to see a Dermatologist who told me it was a combination of contact dermititis and a fungal infection. I had to be prescribed 2 powerful topical steroids as well as a prescription strength shampoo to combat the rash. This is what my skin and scalp look like 8 WEEKS after treatment. The hypopigmentation on my forehead is likely permanent, and I still have pretty serious dryness across the front of my scalp that has to be treated with ointment DAILY. In addition to this, I was not aware that Versus was a training salon. I paid their full price for a wash and silk press, however, both my wash tech and my stylist appeared to be in training as they were visited frequently by the manager and given guidance several times during my visit. Everyone here is very sweet and professional. Scheduling was easy and pricing was fair. However, there was clearly a misstep somewhere that caused my stylist to either use an incorrect/expired product during my service or an unclean styling tool.

I am obsessed with how healthy my hair feels right now! I went for hair help after years of not knowing how to take care of my hair, and I'm so glad I did. I have long hair, and I was anxious about getting it cut. Jazmine was so patient and didn't pressure me to cut too much. Michelle is extremely talented and always makes sure I get the results I want. She and all of the staff are friendly and attentive. There is plenty of parking, the facilities are clean and well-maintained, and they use quality products. There is never any pressure to buy the products they use, but they make such great recommendations that I usually do. I've been coming here for almost 2 years and I'll keep coming back. Not like any salon I've ever been to. The salon was beautiful, warm,clean and organized. The staff was amazing and my stylist was phenomenal! She was personable and knowledgeable. She explained every step and even gave me ideas for future styles. I was in and out in no time and my hair looks great!
