I love Via Rose and Louie is amazing every time. He looks out for your best interest, listens to your ideas and how you currently live in your hair, making your time in his chair feel collaborative and comfortable. I leave the salon feeling so beautiful. Highly recommend.

My appointment with Louie was amazing! It was my first time at Via Rose, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I came in for a partial highlight and a cut, and Louie took the time to talk through styles and colors that would suit me best. He was so thoughtful and reassuring—especially when I decided to try bangs for the first time. He also gave me great tips for styling and hair care, which I really appreciated. The end result was even better than I imagined, and I left feeling so confident and happy. Thank you Louie—I’ll definitely be back!

I signed up for a $75 "just a few foils" highlight to test out a new salon. The staff was very nice but they are not upfront with their pricing. When I got to check out my $75 became $125 (never indicated in their online appointment set up or by the stylist during the appointment) and they added an extra $40 for toner that was not presented to me as optional. I was in near tears at a $165 bill. They were kind enough to give me a discount on the toner but told me it was my responsibility to explain to them that I was there for the dollar amount hair service irregardless of the price point I signed up for while making the appointment. While not an experienced salon go-er where I went in college was much more upfront about pricing and price increases. I still paid over 1.5x what I had expected and the top of my head looks like a zebra.... my most expensive and worst highlight job. I won't name the stylist as they were genuinely a lovely person. But incredibly disappointed with the unatural results at the part for what is supposed to be a "subtle" highlight. And based on this salons expensive price point I don't have the money to go somewhere else to fix it. Perhaps a good salon for other services but I would not reccomend anyone go for their deceptively afforable and "natural" few folis option.

After moving to the city and continuing to trek out to the burbs out of loyalty to my stylist I finally decided enough was enough and began the search for a new salon. I couldn't be happier finding Via Rose it's a great location and their kind reception and the fantastic haircut from Louie made moving on from a stylist of 15+ years almost easy. I can't recommend this hair studio enough, if you're looking to make a switch look no further.

I love this salon and my stylist Angel! The salon has a boutique feel. They serve coffee, tea and champagne and everyone is so nice and fun you’re in the best mood when you leave (and not just bc your hair looks great)! Angel is perfection. My daughter convinced me to switch salons and see Angel (bc she gave her the best balyage treatment that grew out beautifully). I’m more straightforward (cut and root touch up). and I felt bad, leaving my old salon which I had been going to for years. But my hair has never looked better. I’m 55 years old and my hair has thinned out an Angel can do some miracles with the gray coverage and cutting it in a way that it looks full. And she is the sweetest person, so just a pleasure to spend time with while getting your hair done. If you need a stylist for any reason, whether it’s because you’re looking for a change or your current salon just isn’t doing it for you, you should definitely book with Angel!!

I came to Via Rose and got my hair done by Rognnys Bastidas. I showed him pictures and he patiently helped me decide the length and layers that were perfect for me. He was so sweet and genuinely made me feel so pretty! The salon itself was very clean, the hair stylists were attentive and kind and even offered wine to everyone in the salon. I will definitely be coming back and referring friends!

Louie is my go to colorist now! Booked blindly based off of his reviews and I’m so glad I did! I’ve been a hard client with others due to my super curly hair but he did it the first time exactly what I wanted!! Glad I found him!! Amazing.

Saw Rognnys for a haircut and I 100% recommend seeing him. I’ve been asking for a certain hairstyle for years and this is the first time I’ve walked out actually happy with my hair. Will be coming to him again

Louie is the best! He cares about the health of my hair while creating the most beautiful blonde I’ve ever had! Booked my fiancé a haircut with him the next day and he is very happy with his hair as well! Highly recommend Louie. Will be going back to him to keep up my color.

Via Rose is great! A nice space in Andersonville with great staff. Susie at reception is very welcoming and kind. My stylist is Romula, and she is very experienced and fun to work with. Most recently she helped me change it up and gave me a bob for the first time, and I love it! She will give you a great cut no matter what you ask for.

I got my hair bleached and cut with Carlos and I LOVE IT! Carlos spent nearly 6 hours with me and cared so much about making sure we ended up with something I was excited about. He is a fast learner and is passionate about his craft and also is just a doll to talk to! Everyone in the salon is so supportive and has so much knowledge and this is the best hair cut I’ve had in ages. Can’t recommend Carlos and via rose enough.

I'm new to chicago and picked Via Rose Salon because of the great reviews I read online. Tony, who is as sweet as can be cut my hair, and I absolutely love my haircut and will go back again! Pricing is very reasonable. Everyone was so nice and welcoming, and they even offered beverages such as beer, wine, water, or tea.

Jackie is hands down the best hair dresser I have ever worked with. She's super friendly, and works with you to provide the best results. I couldn't trust my hair with anyone else. Not only does she do an amazing job with hair, she also recommends great hair care tips! Highly recommend!

Christian gave me a great haircut. I haven’t had a professional haircut in around 2 years because I’ve had a buzz. Now that I’m growing it out I’ve felt very frustrated about how awkward it looked, but Christian helped me see the ways my hair could be styled and I feel so much more confident now. great salon - clean calm and friendly. been getting my hair done with Angel since 2018 when the salon was at their previous location and have never been disappointed. she’s so sweet, consults well on the look you’re trying to achieve, and nails it - color or cut. 💜💇🏻‍♀️
