Vibe Collective is a 5 star experience every time I am there. Their front desk is competent and friendly and their stylists are each very talented. Ashley has been cutting my hair for many years and I am always so happy with the service she provides. I have sent my mother to the salon as well as friends. It is a great salon to find a stylist that you will keep for years. Wonderful group of women

I have been getting my hair done by Lizz for over 4 years and I absolutely love my experience every time! All of the ladies are so sweet and the energy and music choices always SLAY!! If you are looking for someone to give you a fun and creative refresh, definitely give Lizz or Ashley a call!!

I’ve been a loyal client to Liz Holt for years. She is a very talented colorist but today I unfortunately learned that she values quick cash grabs over costumer loyalty. I woke up the day of my appointment sick with a fever and when I called the salon and they made me aware of their policy where you have to pay full price for day of cancellations. I offered to come in with a mask and that offer was rejected. Liz Holt charged me $390 for waking up sick. It truly feels like a gut punch because I’m pretty easy going, always on time, always down to let her take photos and always tip 20%. I’ve seen her for years and even trusted her to do my wedding hair. This is the first time I’ve ever had to cancel last minute and I thought we had built a good rapport and trust. I understand paying the full service fee for a no call no show but to do this to a client who has seen you for years has made me lose all respect for her and this salon. This whole situation has left me feeling used and discarded as a client. I would’ve been okay with paying fee but to pay for the full service is beyond messed up. I hate writing negative reviews but I’m so incredibly disappointed and heartbroken by this treatment so I feel like I need to warn other loyal clients that years of support mean absolutely nothing to her.

Terrible first time experience with a woman on the phone today, never even made it here for the first appointment because the woman on the phone left me waiting for 7 full minutes on the line and then was completely unprofessional and rude.

Crystal is such an amazing stylist! I wanted to change salons after some frustrating lack of communication and consistency with my previous stylist, and I am so thrilled with her color and cut skills. Throughout the whole appointment Crystal checked in with me before each step, swatched colors to make her they were exactly what I wanted, and made sure I was confident in each step of my hair being cut(which can normally be pretty scary when cutting 6+ inches off!). Im so happy to have found my new home salon!

I love this business! They are always so professional, personable, friendly, and good at what they do. (have been a loyal client of crystal's for years and will follow her anywhere!) Have had this business do my hair and my wife's hair for various events and we always leave feeling awesome. Definitely recommend booking with them. This teeny, elegant, and cool salon is a beauty oasis on Austin's East Side. Penny's been cutting and coloring my hair for ten years, and she opened Vibe Collective almost a year ago - I never want to get my hair done anywhere else. She gives me great cuts, which range from clean to life-changing. Penny has taken my hair on a healthy color journey from Debbie Harry two-tone blonde-on-black, to perfect foil trophy wife blond highlights, to millennial pink, to purple, and then coppery red hair - all without damage. Go to Penny for great color and cuts, and if she's booked, go to Ashley, or Sarah, or any one of the amazing stylists there. Vibe Collective know what they are doing, and can make anyone's hair look amazing, and can make it any shape or hue you can think of. If you can dream it, they can do it to your hair. UPDATE: Since the start of the pandemic, Vibe Collective has taken every precaution to stop the spread of COVID while doing great hair. Masks are required, as are temperature checks at the door. It has been a real joy to keep my hair looking great while staying safe.

Went twice , had to wait over 20 minutes of appointment time? Bad attitude when confronted about waiting, also stated she didnt think she could help do my hair anymore.. no issue with quality of work. Just horrible customer service and attitude.

I absolutely love this salon. The entire atmosphere is amazing. I also love how seriously they are taking Covid protocols. I started going years ago when Jamie my stylist opened her booth there. She is the absolute best with color and cutting. I have naturally curly hair and she knows exactly how to cut it and suggests the best products.

You will book an appointment for this place a few months in advance and then they will call you a few weeks out and say "oh you need a longer appointment and we don't have any more time that day. How about an appointment two months after your initial appointment?" If I wanted an appointment two months after my scheduled appointment I would have scheduled it for then. What a waste of time. Don't even bother with this place. Also if your new clients need longer appointments then set up your system to automatically book them for that long when they sign up. Easy fix to not lose new clients.

Penny knows just how to make anyone feel special! She really takes her time with you and makes sure you get exactly what you want. She color corrected a bad bleach job and got me to my exact color I wanted and made me feel amazing during the process. She is my hair wizard!
