Welcoming and warm, friendly people. I felt very confident going to Nicole as a new customer. She talked me through her thought process, asked me questions and stopped and made sure I was happy throughout. Highly recommend her for a curly cut!

I always look forward to getting my hair done at Vibe! I get a cut color and extension adjustment and my time there at Vibe is always such a wonderful, friendly experience. Everybody there is just so great and welcoming, and I feel so great when I walk out of there. Always happy with my results! Love the products they use too. I purchase my products there and my color really lasts a long time. If I could give 10 stars, I would.

I'm a new mom (3m/o) with a FT job so I was excited a salon had opened up in my neighborhood. I had my hair colored on 11/22 by Nina. I was aware she was a new stylist but was told that a senior stylist would be assisting her. (I never had a senior stylist come speak to me or even take a look at my hair.) When we were done my hair had a lot of orangey and brassy tones within it. I was super understanding because she was new and I knew it wasn't the end of the world. I've literally left a salon with orange hair. (I even showed her the photos.) She told me she would be happy to fix it but that she wouldn't have time that day. It was a Friday. They were closed Saturday/Sunday (11/23 & 11/24). I went out of town that Wednesday 11/27 for the holidays and got back 12/02. Today, 12/05, I made a call to schedule my color correction and was told that I was outside of the 7 day window policy for corrections. I was also told that Nina claimed she made me aware that this would be a 2 step process however she did not say that BEFORE turning some of my hair orange/brassy. I spoke with the owner Taylor who was extremely defensive and claimed that she was meeting me halfway by asking me to PAY for the correction. I am deeply saddened by my experience as I told them I have to schedule around having a newborn and going out of town for the holidays and they acted as though that was totally fine. I paid $330 in total for hair cut/color. Plus $50 tip to Nina via Venmo. (Total: $390) Even though I wasn't super happy about the color, I still think it's rude to not tip and understood that I'd be back for a fix. I also chalked it up to bad leadership for her not having someone work closer with her to reach my desired goals. I rarely leave reviews but feel that this is super deceptive and just a really wrong way to treat people. Taylor also claimed that I was belittling her because I was referencing the holidays as to why I did not call last week. (???????) This should have been a routine fix IMO. For anyone in the South Hills area I would just think twice about this salon.

If I could scream my love for VIBE from mountaintops, I would. Every encounter I have had there has been nothing but exceptional. From one small business owner to another, Taylor is doing a wonderful job running the business and her team is beyond talented at what they do. So lucky to have found Mariah and VIBE.

Bevin is a master at her craft. She turns my ideas into a customized style that suits my wavy hair type and skin tone. I always feel confident leaving her chair my style lasts for months! The staff makes my experience there 10/10…issa whole vibe.

I’ve been seeing Bevin for many years- Best in the Burgh! The whole salon experience is wonderful- top notch from start to finish. The girls are so welcoming, attentive, informative and fun to be with the whole way through. It’s such a nice escape for a few hours to pamper yourself, relax, enjoy and leave feeling refreshed!

Really great experience with Nina. She took her time and gave me a custom highlight and haircut. The staff is really nice and on top of everything going on. The salon was very clean which i appreciate.

Mariah and Nikki took such good care of me! The salon is so cute and conveniently located for me, but most of all, the ladies here are one in a million. Will definitely be coming back. The cut enhances my natural texture and makes styling so easy.
