Gloria is an artist! She could also be a magician. I was undecided after my massage with her but both thoughts readily sprung to mind. It's all about sensation of touch. It's symmetry, and pressure and temperature. It's also the feeling that she's guiding your body towards strength and wellness and alignment. And not only is she an amazing therapist, but she's genuinely a kind and lovely human!

When I first moved to Portland I was dealing with extreme pain, muscle tightness, arthritis, and soreness from treatment resistant lupus. I was nervous to start seeing a brand new practitioner, but J.T. at Vida was immediately a soothing presence. They've been very careful and mindful during my sessions, always checking in and adjusting pressure, technique, and temperature to make sure I am comfortable and getting what my body needs. Seriously, the moment they begin my session I relax and feel cared for. I highly recommend Vida Wellness and J.T. Stovall. Go get a massage!

I had my very first professional massage ever with J.T. He was incredibly kind, understanding, and thorough. He listened to the parts of my body that I wanted to target, and was extremely professional and thorough. He even found a part of my body that even I didn't know was very tight. I found that a 30 minute session was perfect for me because I had never had a massage before. I will probably be coming back again for an hour massage in the future.

Gloria is absolutely the best masseuse I've ever had. Her love and care are present everywhere. From checking in with you on what areas need attention, creating a relaxing atmosphere, and being clearly compassionate to where your mind and body are at, it's the perfect escape. Gloria is well-versed in just about any massage technique you can think of, so your body is literally in good hands to get the exact attention it needs. I will go to her as often as my body needs and I am honored to call her a dear friend.

Gloria gave me the best massage I think I’ve ever had! It was a wonderful combination of relaxation while also addressing specific issues. At other places, it’s been one or the other. I can tell that she is experienced and still really enjoys what she does. That comes through and the communication put me at ease. Aside from all of that, the space is beautiful and welcoming! Highly recommend.

I have gone to Vida a couple of times now. Both times, Gloria has really listened to my pain points and worked them out like the perfect Earth angel she is! I had never tried Ashiatsu massage before, and now I don't think I'll go back!! Not painful at all. Pressure can be adjusted. Can't wait to get back in for another massage!

Just finished my session with JT and it was just what I needed to feel grounded and relaxed after a grueling business trip. At first meeting, I noticed his friendly, calm demeanor. This later translated over the session. JT exudes calmness and patience. I didn't feel rushed at all despite how late it was. Very honest character. Highly recommend!

The moment you walk into Vida Wellness you can feel the calm and warming energy. I have received bodywork from Gloria for 6 years, and also 4 years from Jess. They are both amazing at what they do. Each of them are extremely knowledgeable when it comes to muscle groups and how they are all connected. What I value just as much is their ability to connect to something deeper than skin and muscle - a place where substantial healing takes place within us. I am so grateful for their work !
