After several visits to other salons, I was so happy to finally get a cut I liked at the Village Salon. Everyone was friendly, warm, and exceptionally polite. I had a great experience and my stylist Haley did a fantastic job reducing the bulk in my hair and fixing my layers. I will definitely be coming back!

This hair salon was super cute!! Kelly did a great job with my haircut and I’m so happy with how it turned out. I’ve only ever gone to my cousin so I was a little nervous but she did a great job!! She listened to what I wanted and was super easy to talk to. I loved Kelly and definitely recommend her and Village Salon!

Absolutely adore Brittany. She’s been doing my hair for years, so when she moved to Raleigh, there was no doubt I would drive 2.5 hours from Charlotte for her to continue doing it. She’s so talented, so kind, and the only person I let color my hair. So grateful for her and the continued amazing experience I’ve had with her. ❤️

Amazing salon. A very welcoming environment — every employee is incredibly friendly and professional. As for their work, fantastic. Haley is a phenomenal stylist! The confidence boost every time I leave her chair is unmatched. Best hair stylist I have ever had and it’s not even close.

Erika has been doing my hair for years now and I’m so glad I found her!! I have naturally dark brown hair and over the years Erika has taken me VERY blonde, helped to transition me to a less maintenance blonde, and then finally took me back to my natural color when I was ready. Just went in for her extension service as well and I am so happy!!! They feel great and look great. My hair was already as long as I wanted, but I got one row to had thickness and volume. It looks so natural! She also took the time to help me choose exactly what I wanted and break down price, maintenance, etc. Erika is efficient, does great work, and is lovely to be around. Even though I haven’t done highlights in a while, I have always been particularly impressed with her color services. She was able to get me to a beautiful bright blonde that I hadn’t been able to achieve anywhere else! I would recommend her to anyone! Photos of my hair journey attached lol

objectively, the color was done very well. the salon was cute, my stylist was nice, and i liked the atmosphere. unfortunately, my color turned out drastically different than i asked for. my reference picture was a pastel, warm and bright, yellow-toned pink. what i got was a purply-pink magenta that was significantly darker than i anticipated. i’m hoping it fades into something nice, but with an over $300 appointment (which i found out only when i had to pay - fun surprise) i would expect to leave with the color i asked for. also, my hair is a medium brown, not thick, virgin, and shoulder length. i don’t see why it should’ve been impossible to lighten it enough for pink on my whole head, but i was told i’d have to go for several partial highlight appointments (at the same price point) to achieve a full head of pink. overall, im very unsatisfied because of the price i paid and the results i recieved, but i can acknowledge that my stylist still knew objectively how to do what she was doing because my hair is still healthy. (attached were my references and how i left)
