It was my first time visiting Michaela for a Brazilian wax session and she made the appointment very professional and calming. I truly do recommend her 100%. The place is clean, the decor and lights are soothing with a great vibe. She handles the whole session with care and attention to detail. Her personality is very down to earth and friendly. I will definitely continue my sessions with her.

The inside design of Violet Aesthetics was beautiful and very unexpected from the exterior. Nothing wrong by any means but simple clean line outside, but the interior turned out to be great and enormous. I had just and emphasize, just, barely arrived on time after a sequence of coincidental surprises beforehand, but the lady upfront made it easy, I took a deep breath, and finally relaxed while she was going to let Michaela know I'd arrived. This was my first time with Michaela, and she was outstanding. I arrived with a slight mistake I made, too. She was cool, skilled, and thorough at treating my error. The room was awesome on lighting and cleanliness. I definitely loved the starscape (if thats a word) on the ceiling, however, equally important to mention is, in reflection, I recognized something. Michaela, is a phenomenal example of an intelligent woman in business. Self-care is somewhat intimate, and an investment to one's overall health for both physical and mental wellbeing. She provides excellent service in every which way, but what was impeccable was her calmness and being so collected while doing many important things at once if I come to think of it. I had a great conversation with her; it was welcoming and enjoyable from the get go. I didn't feel rushed for what I thought may take longer than most occasions. She was great at controlling the pace and volume of the conversation which is definitely better than some salon care I experience with a certain different energy in the air, good energy, don't get me wrong, incredible conversations, but that abrupt end to stay on a timely schedule, is what I come by most often. This could've been by chance, but from what I catch in reflection, she was great at being focused and conducting so well, but effortlessly, mind you. I guess as a child of a family of small business owners, and with a degree of urban planning, I can't help applaud those that have incredible skills, especially in running a career, and enjoying while at it, yeah, that's admirable. So overall, the building and rest of staff seem great. Michaela is obviously a skilled esthetician, and I had to commend her on her talent atop of that. Basically, after my longwinded review, I don't think you'll be disappointed :)

Michaela did an excellent job on brow waxing/tinting! She did exactly as I requested and was so sweet. I had a lot of questions and she answered all of them. This was also the most pain-free waxing/plucking experience I have ever had; I barely felt anything.

Michaela did an amazing job on my brow waxing & lamination and Brazilian. I asked for natural brows and the result was the best I’ve ever had. Studio was clean and relaxing. She was also a very friendly and connecting person. Will definitely go back again

I had a microneedling appointment with Michaela and she never showed up. It is my first time seeing her and I waited outside her suite for 30 min. I called several times and left a voicemail. The manager of the suites also reached out to her with no response. As an Esthetician myself, I am profoundly appalled by the unprofessionalism of this business owner, and for wasting my time. I will not be returning.

I had a wonderful experience being waxed by Michaela. She’s very professional, detail-oriented, and personable. Her space is cute and comfortable. It was also less painful than most other waxes I’ve had. Can’t recommend her enough!

Had an amazing experience with Michaela this week getting dermaplaned & sugared. My skin felt so much better after and my makeup is going on flawlessly. I was scared at first about the sugaring since it was my first time because I’ve had a bad waxing experience in the past, but she helped me get through it with good conversation so it went by quickly.

I was way overdue for a facial and found Michaela on Groupon and so glad I did!! I got the Violet Glow Facial with dermaplaning and my skin felt so refreshed, it was glowing! She made it so nice and relaxing, I ended up staying for a brow wax and tint and it came it great! Will definitely be using Michaela again!

Michaela tamed my naturally bushy brows with a brow lamination, wax and tint and I couldn’t be happier with the result! She’s very gentle with the wax and easy to talk to so the whole process was super smooth. I was then sent home with high-quality after-care goodies and even some extras for unrelated skin issues I’ve been having. 100/10 amazing experience!

Michaela was so welcoming and made me feel very comfortable for my facial with dermaplaning. Her studio is cute, the products she used felt amazing, and my husband commented on how good my skin looked after the appointment without knowing I’d had a facial. I’ll definitely be going back!

Best Facial I’ve ever had. I loved the products Michaela used. Steam machine was lovely. She wasn’t rushed at all, lovely setting, and only talked as much as I wanted to, which I appreciate. I live in Los Angeles the last 7 years, but still make a point to stop and visit Michaela every time I'm in Austin (which is probably 5 times a year at this point) for either a waxing service, eyebrow lamination, tinting, etc. It is so hard to find esti's that you actually trust to do good work, make the experience comfortable, and have amazing communication + check in's during a service, but Michaela is able to do just that. I love Michaela and I wish I could put her in my pocket and take her as my personal aesthetics service provider. Do yourself a favor and book with her!!!
