Worst experience ever!! I was pregnant and they were so rough and were not accommodating!! The women are too pushy and are not professional. Please find somewhere else to go and do not waste your money!!

They do an awesome job, I recommend Virgo Hair Braiding to anyone needing their hair done. They say come back in 4 months, but they do such a good job you can wait 5-6 months. They're the best in San Antonio, Texas to me a my family.🙏🏾💯🌹👑💜

The braider that did my hair was amazing! She told me right away that I couldn't do the style I wanted and she offered a different service best of all she did not braid my hair so extremely tight!! Even though my hair was very short! I would recommend this Virgos hair braiding salon if your looking for quality service, friendly braiders, and a beautiful braid job this the place San Antonio!!

Mrs. Virginia was so nice and flexible with my busy schedule. I called early in the morning and she was more that willing to assist. I felt at home at her salon and had lots of laughs. I absolutely love my hair and they worked so fast to complete my small/ medium knotless braids. I love my hair and would definitely recommend everyone to come to Virgo Hair Braiding!

The one star is for the senegalese twists being pretty. I'm up at 130 AM taking out braids that were done this morning. They are priced at $170 but I was told $200 at the shop. Go figure. My head is in too much pain to sleep. I asked to keep my edges out so a few hairs on the side weren't braided in, but the rest of my edges, especially any hair on my forehead, were. I said multiple times that the braiding hurt and it continued the same way, but since I was in a hurry and she was almost done I suffered through it thinking it wouldn't be so bad after. I steamed and oiled my head. I got in the shower and ran very high temperature water across my scalp and wrapped my head with hot towels. It still hurts too much to tolerate even the softness of a pillow. I can't put them in a ponytail without plucking out my hair and it feels like I'm on the way to traction alopecia if I leave them in. I am PISSED and want my money back.

Great Salon for all hair braiding needs!! I highly recommend.Great company and great environment. I had box braids done on Feb.22,2023 and it took 7 hours. Although Ms. Virginia had help, my braids came out beautiful. My only thing was that I was told $210 on the phone for hair included with style and ended up paying $235 which was not in my price range. But again my braids are beautiful. Thanks Virginia.!

I had a appt today @9am, when I showed up no one was at the shop. I waited and called both numbers and also sent text messages asking will anyone be there for my appt. They never answered or replied. I had my husband call from his number and they answered and told him they will be there in 5min. NO ONE EVER SHOWED UP! I would not recommend, the least they could have done was say they wouldn’t be able to make it.

Nice service I would recommend these salon. It did take a little long but the time was worth it my braids are amazingly beautiful also I was a walk in on a Sunday and the lady’s stayed there until they finished my braids. Beautiful job thank you 🙂

Always a pleasant experience. Some visits take longer than others like when they start your head and then start someone else's so you're sitting there waiting. But for the most part, I have no complaints. I always schedule my hair appointments here

I called and was able to get an appointment for the same day. I was greeted by the owner who did a beautiful job on my hair. I got medium sized Senegalese twists. They are beautiful! I will be back.

I went in about 3 weeks ago and got my starter locs done. I like the fact she is heavy handed. Felt awesome.any way I will be going in to get them retwisted,wash,and I can't wait I am loving my new loc journey. Thank you. See Y'all soon

I went to get my hair braided although I can’t speak for everyone that works there I’m talking about the one who braided my hair. The lady that braided my hair was the biggest lady there (not being rude but she was a mute) anyway I went in for six braids she she was very heavy handed and this is coming from a guy whose not tinder headed, she was very ruff with my hair through out the process by pulling my hair making my head jerk also when parting my hair, she also braided the baby hairs on the back of my head which caused me to breakout with those hair bumps that hurt so badly especially when I moved my head . I was very frustrated about the fact she didn’t use any moose or gel in my hair all she used was like spay at the end. I’m very dissatisfied with the service I I I received I also had to take them down with in week.

I will be coming back for all my braiding needs. The staff is very nice and respectful always using manners so far as saying yes/no sir/ma'am. Atmosphere was very calm/soothing. The lady braiding my hair was very patient, I have lots of hair and took the challenge. She didn't take any breaks besides a sip of water here and there. I didn't take any breaks. Enjoyed listening to their native tongue, it was very calm not harsh or loud at all. She didn't have heavy hands and my head felt no pain not one time while she braided my hair. Thank you for an excellent experience Ms.Virginia.

My hair was done excellent, but that place could use a good cleaning especially the bathroom and organization needs to be done but very friendly and my hair was done very nicely I will return I just hope I don't have to go to the bathroom.

They finished my box braids in 4 hours and they provided the hair too.!!! they offer free chips and tv! My hair is short so I’m really happy it could be gripped😁😁
