I can’t recommend Hannah enough! Every visit is a fantastic experience, from the warm welcome to the exceptional service. I love coming into Virtue! All the staff is friendly, the space has a cool, eclectic vibe but super relaxing. Jamison is my stylist and he gives top notch service. I love getting my haircut by Kristen! I wish I could go more often but nonetheless she is always super professional, talks through what I’d like to have done and make sure it’s attainable. (Sometimes I have lofty ideas that might take 6 hours - whoops.) No matter what- she is always great to have conversation with and remembers the little things that make getting your hair styled by her such a great experience. She takes her craft seriously and you can tell wants to be the best she can be professionally and it shows!

Kristen is EVERYTHING. It is so hard finding a hair stylist that just gets doing femme short hair. And she is that!!! I’ve been going to her for a few years now. My hair is very thick and very straight, and that can be very tricky to work with. But she makes it look effortless. Virtue itself is a very comfortable place - everyone is so nice and the environment is so friendly. Can’t recommend it enough

Kristin has been my stylist since 2021 and I am so glad I found her. She appreciates that you trust in her and oh boy she delivers the style you vision. She is also very good at keeping up with conversation which makes it more fun! Cutting hair isn’t just using your scissors but also skill that you have to develop to interact with clients and Kristin knows what she is doing. She used to work in clintonville location which is closed to my house but now she is moved to German village location and I go chase her wherever she is at! I started seeing Joy in 2019 and completely lucked out to find a stylist who can take my ideas and make them a reality! Shes good at talking through your requests and providing you various options / next steps. Not only is she amazing at hair color / cuts, but she is such a fun person to talk to! I always feel relaxed and accepted in her chair. These are the biggest reasons I’ve loved being her client all these years ♥️

Joy gave my 4c hair the best blowout I’ve ever had! She was thorough, explained to me the products she used on my hair and consulted with me on my desired length since I was getting a trim as well. The salon was also extremely clean, professional and overall an amazing experience. I LOVED how It turned out!

I have been coming here for almost a year! Before coming here to get my frequent haircuts that I do now, I never thought one haircut with Kayla would boost my self esteem so much. When you walk in the reception is always welcoming and warm, when I go sit in Kayla’s chair we discuss what I want do with it, I usually just ask Kayla to do what she thinks is best or if I have an idea for my hair she executes it to exactly what I want. Kayla never ever disappoints. I cannot emphasize how much this haircut changed me, it help me solidify how my style is for makeup, clothing and aesthetic. The health of my hair has also changed so much, it’s feels healthier and looks healthier! Im forever grateful for Kayla’s talents and virtue vegans salons relaxing atmosphere! Also if you book with Kayla and you’ve never gotten a blow out, get the blow out.

This was no joke the first hair cut I have ever LOVED leaving the salon, and the days following using my own styling technique. I no doubt can attribute this to my stylist (Jolie) who was so cognizant of checking in to ensure my length wasn’t lost too much, making sure I was digging the cut periodically, and asking about styling methods/what I typically do. Cut is identical to reference photos I showed, while highlighting my very thin/fine hair (shaping to ensure we didn’t loose too much volume etc). Best salon in Columbus I am convinced!!!

I have very thick 3C curly hair and it can be tough to find someone capable and confident to do a cut, but wow did I find all that and more at Virtue. The space is huge and well designed and the entire team from the Salon Director Jasmine to my stylist Olivia are so kind and welcoming the moment I walked in. I haven’t had a cut in over a year and Olivia took her time to go over what I was looking for and told me everything she was going to do. I’m over the moon happy with the result, my curls haven’t been this defined in ages and the shape she achieved was exactly what I was looking for. I also learned a lot more about how to style my hair and fix some issues I’d been having, they’re truly curly pros. Olivia typically works out of the Clintonville location but you honestly can’t go wrong with any of the amazing humans in that building. Highly recommended.

My experience at Virtue Vegan Salon is always top-notch! I’ve been seeing Rachel for a couple years and she always takes the time to understand what I’m looking for, is never pushy when I’m nervous about trying something new, is never judgmental when I inevitably get more or less the same cut, and knows her way around a great balayage. The front-desk staff is also warm and inviting, going above and beyond for clients to make you comfortable. If you need a sign to book an appointment, this is it! 🔮

I was a model today! Yazmine cut and styled my hair today, and she did a fantastic job! I felt very comfortable and the shampoo was very nice and calming! Every other stylist in there was very nice and supportive of each other!

Love working with Brady! He’s so kind and does a phenomenal job. My hair has never looked so good <3 The staff is also so wonderful and warm. I have celiac so needed to verify that the products we were using are gluten free and during my first visit several were double checking the ingredients on the different objects via the manufacturers website and made me feel so much better about even having to ask. I recommend them to everyone I know!

I went for a basic haircut to tighten up the sides and the back of my hair. My stylist (Stormy) struggled to get me what I want and finally did not accomplish what I wanted. I told her that I wanted a natural fade without any shelf or abrupt change in length and she had a hard time doing that. Here is a picture of my side. You can clearly see an abrupt change in length. Not satisfied. They called me and corrected the problem. They treated me very well so I am very satisfied now.

I went in for cut and color and wanted my hair styled with a blowout. Before my appointment my hair was pretty dead and my curls had no life to them. Now I have volume and my curls always look great after my cut with Kayla. I’m loving my hair and the volume. The picture attached is a few weeks after my cut and after I washed it.
