I recently had my first visit to Visible Changes at La Cantera on Sat. It is a very nice salon with attentive staff. I am also elated that hairstylist Melissa Ann (formerly at North Star location) has returned. She is awesome and always accommodates my requests.

I recently visited Visible Changes for my daughter’s hair service, and I am extremely disappointed with the experience. Despite multiple attempts to get clarity, no one, including the front desk clerk, the stylist, or even the manager, could explain the cost breakdown of the service. Firstly, the cost of the touch-up was inexplicably higher than the original highlights. This makes no sense and raises serious questions about their pricing structure. Additionally, my receipt showed a surcharge that was voided, yet this charge still appeared on my credit card receipt. When I inquired about this discrepancy, no one could provide a satisfactory explanation. To make matters worse, there was an unexplained “back room sales charge” added to my bill. I ended up paying over $200 for a touch-up, which is more than the cost of the original highlights. Despite my efforts to get answers, the staff and even the manager were unable to justify these charges. This experience has left me feeling scammed and extremely dissatisfied. I would not recommend Visible Changes to anyone looking for transparent and fair pricing. Avoid at all cost. They will scam you!

I love Visible Changes! Staff at this location are always so helpful from setting appointments to the hair stylists. Not only are the hair stylists very professional with their knowledge and technique, they are very helpful in giving advice from styling to maintenance. I highly recommend Karla T as she is truly outstanding!

I’m really not the type to leave bad reviews but my service was so disappointing.. I showed my hairstylist multiple pictures of what I wanted.. face framing and long layers. She started off cutting my hair by the front of my face (the most important) and did it extremely short and now It looks like I have bangs. When she was about to be finished with styling my hair (I asked for a blowout) It looked like she had just straightened my hair and looked nothing like the Inspiration pictures, I showed her. My stylist lacked communication and professionalism and I’m sorry but 11 years working there should be more than enough time to know how to listen and accommodate your customer.

I had an appointment but still had to wait over an hour for my haircut. While I liked the haircut, I noticed a week later that they had overcharged my credit card. When I went back to address the issue, they claimed their system showed they had given me cashback, which they hadn’t. No one was helpful, and I received a bad attitude despite the mistake being theirs.

Visible Changes never disappoints! Especially the La Cantera location. Recently I had my hair done with Vanna and she did an amazing job with the color and highlights! I showed her a picture of what I was looking for and she nailed it! I feel like a new me!! I have never received so many compliments on my hair!! I love, love, love Vanna and really appreciate her, taking the time to make sure that I loved my color!! After my color, Mo, short for Monica, cut and styled my hair and, wow!! My hair looks great, and is so manageable now and I absolutely love it. Highly recommend them and Visible Changes at La Cantera! 10/10!!

It took 3 hours to get my blowout . They changed the stylist twice and she had to start over as the first hair stylist did a bad job and had to leave in the middle as per manager request. The first hair stylist was pulling my hair too much I could feel it rip out and the second stylist did my hair a little more gently but it came out so frizzy and it feels a little burned… I usually do my hair for myself and it takes me less than 30 mins and comes out smooth ( I don’t have thick hair) but I thought I would go since I had a special occasion.

AWFUL!!!! If I could give this place zero stars I would. The first red flag was that both me and my mom had booked appointments for 11am. The day before they called to confirm both appointments and we confirmed. We arrived at the appointment and the stylist “Ashley” who was supposed to do a full head of highlights on my mom said “well I’m not gonna have enough time to do a full head.” Confused we looked and said we booked the service in advance? Was time not reserved???? She basically looked at my mom and said no and she wasn’t doing the service. At that point I should have just immediately left but they had already started working on my hair. I went in asking for an OMBRÉ, my hair came out looking the exact same color as when I walked in just $300 later. no empathy or help from anyone. Front desk girls hate their job almost ans much aa they hate their own lives and it’s clear based off of the attitude. Will not return and will not recommend to anyone.

If I could give this place a 10 star I would! The professionals at Visible Changes are nothing short of brilliant. I went into Visible Changes after going to a different salon that left me looking like a lopsided calico cat. Sai and Elena worked on my hair and it came out looking better than I could have ever dreamed. Sai took my hair (that was three different colors of blonde) and gave me the most beautiful highlights. I have never felt so confident! It was so impressive to see how she used her skills to fix my hair. By far the G.O.A.T.! Elena was also a gem. I felt like she cared about fixing my hair as if it were her own. I couldn't have been more pleased with how absolutely perfect everything turned out. My advice is, don't risk it going somewhere else. Come here and you will have guaranteed the best results. Thank you Sai and Elena, thank you for everything you did to help me!

They have the best hair products in my opinion. I get my hair color and highlights and love that my hair is still healthy and not damaged. Their color products are not harsh and don’t burn my scalp while processing. My stylist Christine is so nice and knows her stuff, definitely recommend Visible Changes. If your trying to cover grays tell them to go heavy on the product to ensure the gray coverage.

Do not put deposit down or trust that the scheduled time you spoken to receptionist is the one they will follow through with. I’ve been a customer for about 10 years. I won’t be going back. My haircuts and coloring have been good. However, this last incident has made me loose trust in the company and the lack of customer service in how they treat their mishaps was extremely disappointing. I basically was told I was to blame for the mishap. I booked a 4 pm appointment for keratin treatment and root touch up following my last haircut appointment in person. I immediately put it into my phone calendar and notes. Requiring a 50$ deposit. I don’t know if they changed my appointment time to 12 without notifying me or approving that change to even see if that time was acceptable, or if they never put it into the schedule at the time they told me which was 4 pm. I never got a reminder notification or anything regarding my appointment . All I got was a voicemail the day of stating (I was late for my appointment that I was scheduled for 12 and that they would have to keep the deposit and take another 50$ deposit for another appointment to be made). In disbelief I called to report this mishap. I know for a fact I booked for late afternoon since I work nights, and I immediately put it into my schedule when I made the appointment for 4pm. I spoke with receptionist and manager Krista who continued to talk in circles and state company policy and that they have notes of notifying and the schedule states 12. This company does not care about their customers or if they make mishaps. You’re just another number.

I would have given 5 stars but when I called to make an appointment, I was told that my stylist of 15 years is no longer there. Can someone tell me where Evelyn went? I read she has her own place now.
