I just got my hair cut by Sage, oh my god they are AMAZING! They magically put my dream haircut on my head. They were super friendly and attentive to detail. I could seriously go on and on about the entire place and them specifically! You don't want to get your haircut here, you NEED to get your haircut here!

Amazing atmosphere, super skilled and lovely stylists! This is a very queer-oriented salon and I felt right at home, more comfortable and confident with the people there than any other barber shop or salon. Conversation was not just pleasant, but super fun. And best of all, my hair has never looked better. Seriously! The final look was so perfectly what I wanted it amazed me. Also a great place to discover new community connections. Can’t recommend enough.

I cannot say enough good things about this salon! My son went in to cut his long hair short and he was so nervous. Lydia took the time to explain different options, how it could look on him, and listened to his concerns. The result is amazing!! He is beyond happy with it and just keeps saying “my hair looks so good” every time he looks in the mirror. At the end, she explained how to maintain and keep the style looking good and was patient with all his questions. It’s nerve-racking going into a new salon, but I would highly recommend Vivid! if you have a chance to go.

Love the environment, people, and work they do. Kristen Greene listens, communicates, and cares. She lightened my roots, put in 4 vivid colors, and gave me a nice fresh cut to add some personality. Fair price for all the product, skill, and time needed. Definitely recommend!

Jo is amazing! I came to her desperately in need of a repair haircut from another salon. She spent time asking about what I needed to make me happy with my hair. She was very determined to make me happy. I couldn't believe my hair when she was finished.....I was so happy! I have a new stylist!!!!

Went to get my hair cut into a mullet, I come home and notice that one side of the back is longer than the other side. Thankfully I live right down the street, I drive back to the salon and Kristen evens it out but now that I’ve had the haircut for a day I’m noticing everything that’s wrong with it. The sections of short hair on either side of my head are different shapes, and now because one side of the back of my head was cut short and had to get the other to match, I didn’t get to keep the length that I wanted. The top of my head has the longest hair and it all feels a little disproportionate. My first haircut here was great. I’m not sure what happened with this second one, but even after having to return once for corrections, it’s not right. I’m disappointed in the cut I paid $60 for. I’m embarrassed to leave the house without a hat until I find a new place to fix my hair, or just shave it again and start over. Either way, I don’t see myself returning to this salon at this time.

1st timer here. 10 out of 10 totally recommend. The environment totally welcoming and easy to be in. I got color for the 1st time and I couldn't be happier. Jameson is very good with ethic hair. I have super curly thick hair and she handled it with a breeze!!!!!! I was there for 5hrs and never once felt as if I was being rushed or unwanted. I am happy I found this place.!!!!!!!

Every time I go to vivid I leave happy. Kayla is an ARTIST and always does an amazing job on my hair. I drive two hours to go see her and it’s WORTH IT. Thank you Vivid for being my faves since 2018!

I got my hair done by Kristen back in May. I loved the atmosphere in the salon. Everyone seemed friendly and welcoming. Kristen was so nice and had open communication throughout the appointment. She asked me about myself and made me feel so safe in her chair. I got a mini balayage and pretty significant cut and felt amazing after! Something about the wash chairs made me feel incredible, they were so comfortable lol I definitely will continue coming back to Vivid as long as I'm in Columbia. I've recommended them to everyone! LGBTQ+ safe space! At least one of the stylists likes Taylor Swift which is a win in my book.

I have been going to Kayla for my hair color for several years now! She has wonderful ideas and she just knows what I will like without really having to ask. I just sit down and leave it up to her! Vivid has a very fun and relaxed environment. I truly enjoy my time there!

I love this salon. The stylists are very talented and so nice! They transformed my hair in only two hours (short hair) and I love it so much! Their prices are also reasonable and the atmosphere is lovely. I felt so welcomed and taken care of.

I’ve been going to Vivid for about a year now and I don’t think I’ll go anywhere else…like…ever… Lydia and her staff are the most down to earth human beings and they really know how to make their clients feel at home and comfortable. Not to mention, the skill sets they all possess are top tier. If you want to discover more of your individuality through hair expression, this is the place to go!

Jenna does a phenomenal job on my short, curly hair! She is so fun to talk to and gives me a great hairstyle that grows out beautifully. I have between a pixie and a bob so it’s huge to not have to get it cut constantly. Highly recommend her for everyone, especially those with curls!

Kayla was amazing! I wanted something new and more interesting than what I had before and she helped me figure out what I wanted and did such a perfect job with both my color and cut. I am literally obsessed with my color. The whole process was really fun and the environment was very comfortable - especially compared to other salons I’ve been to.

This was my first time in this salon and I have to say I was very impressed. As a person who chronically cries after getting their hair done, I left here full of glee. Kristen took her time getting to know what I was looking for and I left feeling more like myself than I have in years! I was also provided with free drinks and a judgement-free environment. I will absolutely be coming back! I already can’t wait for my next appointment.

Totally meant to make this review the day of my cut because, wow! Skylar was the BEST. They were so nice and personable and made me feel so welcome. She was really knowledgeable on the style i wanted and did an amazing job. They asked plenty of questions about exactly what i wanted and even offered input about how it would look best. i will definitely be coming back to see her, she was amazing!!
