I’ve been a client at Vivid for years. My stylist Seline is wonderful. Vivid stresses hair care first, so if you are having a problem with breakage or thin spots her results are excellent. She is also a great stylist. I have had many compliments on my hair.

My God!! The service is phenomenal! The salon is absolutely beautiful! My stylist (Faith) was super friendly and gentle. She taught me so much about my hair! Thank you for helping me fall in love with my natural self all over again! I’m beyond happy to say that I found my new hair salon! Consider me a regular from this point on.

Sign says walk ins welcome, so I stopped in. Nobody greeted me or smiled at me, just a dog came running up and barking at me while no one attempted to calm or wrangle her? One woman walked up and rudely said they had nothing available until 10pm (there were 4 stylists and 0 customers in the store) and to come back tomorrow, and just walked away? What kind of a business is this?

Celine is great and awesome at what she does. She is in to hair care, which is very important. She also styles your hair beautifully. The shop is beautiful as well as the owners spirit. I would definitely recommend this shop who want health and beautiful hair. You definitely get what you pay for. The overall service is excellent.

I booked a haircut at Vivid Hair Salon on the recommendation of my coworker and I'm so glad I did! The stylists are experienced and skilled. I love the grown and sexy vibe there. But most of all, my hair looks and feels great. It's noticeably healthier. No need to continue shopping around for a salon. Vivid Hair Salon delivers excellent results while maintaining the integrity and health of your hair. As a natural girl who wears her hair curly most of the time, this is critical. Not all salons are created equal and this salon is most definitely a cut above the rest - no pun intended:) Make your appointment. You won't regret it.

I love Vivid Hair Salon! I’ve been coming here for a couple of months and have NEVER been disappointed! My hair is very thin and fine, but Sheree and JoAnn brought my hair back to life again! Their thinning hair care treatments and products are amazing! I highly recommend them!!!

I went in looking like the picture on the left and cane out the woman on the right. I cried while she cut my locs and she was down right nurturing and understood how emotional it could be to undergo such a huge change. I left felling confident. I've been coming to Vivid for the past year, and the salon service has been so good that I continue to drive almost 3 hours round-trip to for my hair! The level of professionalism has been consistently excellent, pre-COVID and post-COVID - great communication for scheduling appointments, never a long wait, smooth jazz and R&B playing in the background, and a regular blowout and curl that lasts and keeps my hair healthy! And I feel completely safe with the COVID precautions in place, which I can't say for every other business that's opened back up.

This is the first salon I've been to in months, and somehow I've never felt more at home. The service was amazing, my hair looks amazing and the women were nice enough to help me manage my hair. I never knew such a warm, inviting salon was in Gtown.

This was my first salon experience in a COVID 19 world and Vivid Hair Salon was amazing. I felt very comfortable being in the salon and getting serviced. Upon arrival, staff directs you to hand sanitize (after they make sure you’re wearing a mask) and put gloves on. If you did not have a mask, they had some available. Everyone is wearing gloves and masks. The chairs and tools are sanitized before and after use. I was very nervous about being in a salon given the pandemic but Vivid Hair Salon definitely put my worry at rest! I got a trim and highlights, which turned out so pretty. I have very stubborn grays and many of stylist have tried to tame them and could never get it done. But LaToya did it. No more gray. She is an awesome stylist and the shop is a great place to go. I highly recommend this shop.

The atmosphere at Vivid Hair Salon is beautiful, welcoming and very professional. My stylist is LaToya and I have seen her exclusively for the past 3+ years. Upon entering the salon, you are greeted with nothing but warmth. LaToya has helped and supported me through several hair journeys. When I first started going to Vivid, I had unhealthy hair masked by weaves, relaxers and colors. Toya maintained my hair and respected my wishes by doing my weaves, relaxers and colors but all the while nursing my hair with healthy combinations of hydrating conditioners and protein treatments. Throughout the course of a year she encouraged me, I started trusting more and more; she talked me off the ledge and showed me different natural styles. Toya encouraged my transition and I went to the salon weekly for another year + until she transitioned my hair to natural healthy hair. I still got my color but no more weaves and relaxers for an entire year. Now in my 3rd year, my hair is completely natural and I now wear my hair (sometimes) straightened and other times curly. I still can’t style my hair on my own in the same way that Toya does professionally, but I love that it is now trained, soft and manageable!!! I have never seen my curl pattern the way she has showed me, and I have never seen my hair look so healthy before. I have had my hair washed, blow dried and straightened elsewhere and the other place NEVER got my hair to this caliber. I never, in a billion years, thought my hair would be at this caliber natural. Overall – I now love my hair and have gotten into the practice of beautiful self-care for my hair. . . And I owe it to Toya and Vivid salon - thank you!
