Visited Anna for for the first time the other day and left completely in love with my hair! I got a much needed full head of highlights/toner/shadow root/ trim and blowout. Needless to say spent about 4 hour at the salon. Anna was super welcoming and friendly. She took the time to explain all her process as she went along making the experience super comfortable. Worth every dollar, dont be fooled by the ‘’junior stylist’’. Shes was awesome!

I came in with long, beautiful hair and left with a much shorter “shag” type of cut💔. I asked for a trim and clarified that I wanted to keep my hair long. My stylist was very kind, but my curly hair was cut wet (👎🏻!!). I agreed to my (long) layers being touched up, nothing shorter. When my hair was blown out, it looked nice, but I did notice the alarmingly short layers in the back. I tried to be optimistic that my hair would look good when I washed it, but I ended up with choppy, uneven layers all around 😢. Even after getting it fixed elsewhere, I am still upset.

I had a fantastic experience with Abigail at Volume Salon. She did an exceptional job with both my haircut and balayage coloring. Her skill and attention to detail were evident in the final result, and I couldn’t be happier with how my hair turned out. Ana is fantastic. I’m pretty easy going and give little instruction. But she razor cut my curly shag into a really charming shape that I’ll be able to just wash and wear for months. Really, I haven’t felt this great about my hair for years.

Ana was wonderful! She gave me the cutest, fresh cut and was able to balance my preexisting blond highlights. She gave me back my brunette color and threw in some natural brunette highlights. I’m obsessed with my volume and layers. Ana was professional and took her time. Thank you!

Kelly is the BEST! It was my first time trying Volume, and I always get a bit nervous when looking for a new hairstylist. Kelly not only is so friendly and made me feel SO comfortable in her chair, but she also did such an excellent job on my hair! She gave me exactly what I asked for in the best way, and was such a fun person to talk to during the process! I’d highly recommend Kelly for any service you’re looking for!

Good experience with Emily! She was kind and I liked my haircut result when she blow dried it but seeing it natural, the layers weren’t doing anything for me. That’s on me because I have thick wavy / curly hair and didn’t ask if she has done that hair type and its a pretty safe assumption their speciality is straight hair (again, I should have known - just look at their IG). They had an opening on Good Friday which worked with my schedule, so I took what I could get. I was confused that they don’t accept tips via credit card, which I only found out at the end (only accept Venmo, etc or cash). There is free parking and they give you instructions in their confirmation email, but spots are extremely limited - maybe 6 in total? The negative for me was the vibe of the place - maybe it’s my mistake thinking an uptown hair salon would be welcoming, because I was definitely wrong. Overall, I don’t particularly recommend this place.

I’ve been to volume salon many times in the past two years and although Dena is my absolute favorite, Lindsey comes in at a very very close second (maybe even tied for my most favorite 😉) Lindsey did a fantastic job with my hair and talked me through everything she was doing. I have never walked out of a hair appointment so happy. My hair is shiny, soft and blown out beautifully. She’s amazing, I’m telling you. You can’t go wrong with ANY of the stylists at Volume Salon 10/10.

So frustrated and disappointed with my haircut. My long hair turn into a way too short haircut nothing like what I showed. Was so shocked that I didn’t want to realize at the moment. Long layers and long bang starting from the chin turned into something with length inequality on the whole head. Right side is longer than the left side. Bang not equal… layers with different length on the whole head… I got Ana, very nice woman but my haircut was completely messed up in 40min. She didn’t check that the length was ok on both side and I didn’t either. I guess it was my fault for not paying attention to details that day. Hair is so short that can’t even use the dyson airwrap properly anymore. Very frustrated
