Kayla is the goat! Been coming to her for years, she talented and professional. Always starts and ends my services on time. She’s super fast and efficient without rushing and does detailed and thorough shampoos, end trims and cuts! I moved out of state and still come to her! 🥰

After purchasing tape in extensions from a different company that turned out to have synthetic fibers although advertised as Raw Hair, I came across this company’s Instagram page. I have always used raw Cambodian extensions, and was excited that I finally found some to order. My appointment was 5 days away and I needed them in a hurry, so I paid for overnight shipping. Unfortunately, I received an email that the lengths I ordered were no longer in stock, but they would be available for purchase again the day of my hair appointment. I emailed Brittany and asked if any other lengths were available instead, and she went out of her way to check on this for me even while she was out of town. She even promised to still overnight them, although this specific extension was technically on preorder now. Brittany was very responsive, responding to my emails in less than 10 minutes every single time. She completely saved the day as I would have had to cancel my hair appointment if I couldn’t receive these extensions. I’ve never been so impressed with someone’s Customer Service skills. If I were located in Ohio, I would definitely book with her just based off this experience alone. I look forward to ordering more from Brittany!

Brittany is by far the best stylist I’ve ever been to. The minute you walk in, you’ll be greeted with a warm smile and amazing energy. Despite her personality and top tier professionalism, she is a master of her craft and extremely well versed. I have never felt more comfortable with a stylist. My first time going to Brittany, my hair was beyond damaged, but I trusted her completely and literally told her “do whatever you need to do with this hair,” (I’ve never said that to any other stylists lol). Brittany gave me a bomb cut, restored the quality of my hair, and changed the negative thoughts I had about my hair to me now loving it. Not to mention she has growing hands! That was 3 years ago and my hair has completely grown out, it’s healthy, bouncy, and full of life. Since then Brittany has colored my hair, cut bangs, deep conditioned it, etc etc etc. However, my favorite service is her extensions! She’s installed the best extensions I’ve ever had…from sew ins to microlinks and now tape ins! Styling/execution is something that can be taught (although she is the best at that too) but a genuine personality, amazing energy, and phenomenal professionalism is why Brittany has a forever client in me. If you’re looking for a stylist that is the full package and some, book with my girl asap….you won’t be disappointed!!!

I absolutely love Brittany at W Style Lounge! I’ve only been a client since February of 2022 but have had several services with Brittany already. I’m confident that I’ve found my home salon and have booked appointments months in advance! Brittany is extremely knowledgeable and experienced in hair care and extension services. She takes the time to understand your needs and offers her expert opinion. She executes every style perfectly. During one of my appointments, I mentioned that I was considering a tape in install, but was concerned about pulling from the adhesive. Brittany was kind enough to place a couple tape ins in my hair so I could try it out until my next appointment. That small gesture won me over! So far, I’ve had a silk press and a itip/tape in install. Each time I walk out of the salon feeling beautiful and loving my hair! On top of that, the vibe in the salon is always prefect and Brittany is always engaging in great conversation. If you’re looking for a great stylist, I’d 100% recommend W Style Lounge.

I absolutely love W Style Lounge. Brittany knows just what to do without me even telling her what I want. She knows what looks good on her clients and is all about natural looking extensions. I purchased bundles from them and Brittany did my install. I love her sew in method. With minimal leaving it’s still very versatile and the hair has very minimal shedding and it’s so soft! I will be back for a wash and style!

I am wedding planner and had a bride that lives in Tampa. Wedding here in Columbus Ohio. The bride's original experience with a different hair stylist was horrible and my bride was a wreck. She found W Style! With only 2 months to go for her wedding, Brittney stepped in and SAVED THE DAY! Thank GOD she was available. She serviced her entire bridal party and the BRIDE LOOKED BEAUTIFUL. Hair was slaaaaaaaaayyyed!!!!!! She was professional and answered my text messages to confirm services and times. BOOK HER ASAP!!!

I booked Kayla for a frontal wig install and Brittany for my coloring services. I was a little nervous because I’ve never worn any color outside of black but I couldn’t be happier about the finish product. Brittany went over and beyond discussing the tones of brown I’d selected and providing suggestions to achieve my desired look. Kayla installed my wig flawless you’ve would’ve thought it was growing from my scalp! I highly recommend these ladies for all your hair care needs the amont of attention to detail and professionalism they’ve both exhibited is quite refreshing. I look forward to my next install and dare I say color too!

First let me start off by saying I am highly disappointed in Kayla and her lack of professionalism, along with her lack of empathy and concern for new clients and their time. I scheduled an appointment prior with Brittany and Brittany communicated not being able to provide the service I was requesting. So Kayla booked me for Thursday at 6:45pm. She communicated that I needed to bring my wig by 12 the same day in which I did. While in the middle of work, virtual school with my daughter and preparing to travel I maneuvered around my own personal schedule. Kayla text me at 6:05pm to tell me she had a scheduling issue and her assistant couldn’t come in to help her.Which was 40 mins prior and exactly why would an assist come in after 6pm and not when you open ? She also stated she was behind with 2 other clients. When I walked in to pick up my wig there wasn’t anyone in the shop but one person in the chair. When I walked in she said “oh it’s over there”. She didn’t ask to rebook when I come back from out of town, or even offer another service to make up for her lack of professionalism. I do not like nor appreciate how she handled me as a potential new client. I will not be back nor will I recommend. This shows poorly on their business over all. Most importantly showed no concern for her own income.

I made an appointment and spoke with Kayla about dropping off my stuff ahead of the appointment. We agreed that I would drop off today and she would be in the shop at 10:30. When I showed up, the doors were locked, I knocked, but nobody answered. I also sent her a message and did not receive a response. This is totally unprofessional and I traveled an hour total for services I did not receive. Jokes on her, I ALWAYS tip at least 50% around the holidays.

Last week I prepaid for a service with Kayla. I never prepay for services, but gave her the benefit of the doubt. I overslept through the start of my appointment. I called her seven minutes into (10:07am) my appointment to see if she wanted me to still come, or reschedule. She opted for rescheduling the very next day, late afternoon. The next day I received a text from the young lady stating that she overbooked, asking if I could be moved to the following Tuesday (today). Despite it being several days away, I agreed. This morning I received yet another text with the same request to reschedule for Thursday. No greeting, no apology, and no empathy. I suggested three resolutions at that point; a full refund, accommodating me by rescheduling someone else, or being scheduled under her co-stylist (her sister). Her responses were few and far in between, with no regard to my schedule and time. As I do work and have other things going on outside of a hair appointment. At one point she said that she would only be refunding me partially. I told her that I would much rather be styled. Furthermore, as a so-called professional, Kayla should have been accountable and refunded me 100%, considering she has already attempted to reschedule me an additional two times outside of having to reschedule as a result of me not getting there on time (as I take full responsibility with no issue for the first rescheduling). Here I am, hours into the day, and just two hours before my appointment still trying to get a response and resolution from Kayla. She is just now Cash Apping me 50% of my payment. I had been to Kayla once before and the experience was fine.Though I will not be returning for a few reasons, I will give credit where it is warranted. She is a very talented young lady, but lacks professionalism. I would blame it on her age, but that would be unfair to all the other young stylists around Columbus who are handling their business. Because this is a black owned establishment, I say please support the salon. I do not suggest prepaying for any service there. I also suggest having a plan b if you book with Kayla. I am just disappointed because of how she failed to resolve the so-called overbooking, and then blaming it on COVID. As professionals, we sometimes have to sacrifice, especially if our brand's reputation can be tarnished. Hopefully Kayla will see this as constructive criticism and see what she should and could have done differently. Again, please continue to support this black business. I just can't, black owned or not, because she had too many chances to make this right. Note, as a professional myself and one who takes pride in her professional and personal brand, I feel it is important to critique each other, as well as give second chances (within reason). We are not always correct in matters, and with growth comes accountability. Yes, I expect a rebuttal from the salon, and I have receipts and documented conversations that I could have attached. I chose not to do so, and I am choosing to not go back and forth on such a platform. Wishing them well.

Where do I begin? I have been going to Brittany for four years and I am NEVER leaving. A vibrant, enthusiastic, professional, Brittany not only strives to provide her clients with the best services in Columbus, she delivers. To date I have had countless installs, color and most recently, microblading. I trust her implicitly. Never before have I sat in a stylist’s chair and said “do what you like” but when you are fortunate enough to know someone who will travel to learn from the best you book with confidence and enjoy the experience. Study cut and color in Paris, sign me up for beautiful balayage in Columbus! Train to microblade in ATL and within two weeks of training I have perfect brows! Brittany took my vision and turned it in to reality! I’ve been looking for a stylist to create a multidimensional color, without ruining my hair. Brittany recommended what would look best with my skin tone, and also considered what would look best this time of year, along with what would be gentle enough on my hair. I love my new color!

Thank Goodness for Brittany🙌🏾 I Finally found someone who will not hesitate to slay hair in Ohio 🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾 I literally was in tears when I saw the finish product. She also gave me tips and recommendations on how to renew these tresses. I recieve so many compliments. My hair, my self esteem, and my drive was on a whole new level when I left. Thank you so much.
