Whilst you may believe (based on pricing) than the Waldorf is at the same level as either the Four Seasons or the Ritz, please beware. The list of failings is immense: Even the best suites (supposedly firework view) are merely plagued with the view and noise of the air conditioning plant servicing their convention centre, and the fireworks are so far away they shouldn’t even market it for this. The rooms are lacking in many ways, from lack of housekeeping when sign is illuminated, failure to provide towels, failure to replenish toiletries, failure to collect laundry despite 6 phone calls. Restaurant offerings are limited for the size of the resort, the breakfast room is undersized for the number of rooms resulting in either queueing each morning for 30 minutes or paying an additional $170 for two people each morning for cold food and incorrectly prepared orders. Spa reviewer separately but again this is the most over priced spa for what you receive, again visit the Four Seasons or the Ritz if your budget allows. Conclusion - Do not make the same mistake we did, the Ritz at Grande Lakes or the Four Seasons at Disney are both infinitely better for the same price point. If Ritz / Four Seasons are a five star (we would say six star not that it exists) but the Waldorf would be lucky to be worthy of a four star hotel ranking. AVOID!

Horrible service! It seemed like there wasn’t any attendant to help you with your spa service. We kept getting lost. We ordered lunch and waited forever. My friend has an allergy to tomato and other red sauce and they said the hummus didn’t have red sauce. It came with red sauce and all the girl did was apologize. Didn’t offer to make something new or refund her for the hummus. Horrible service for what we paid.

Absolutely fantastic hotel! I've been returning for years for competitions, and it never disappoints. Beautiful décor, excellent service, great dining options, and the spa is a must-visit. It's worth every penny!

I enjoyed my time here. It may not have as many frills with the facility but it was clean! Paola, the attendant of the spa at the time I was there was so attentive and kind! Tomoku, my massage therapist has truly magic hands. I only got the lower body massage(I forgot the name), with the face mask and scalp treatment but I was SO RELAXED and my feet felt like new! Pressure, atmosphere, everything was perfect! If I stay at the Waldorf again in Orlando I would be sure to go for another treatment! Maybe one of those body treatments they have!

If I was just rating based on my massage, I would give this 5 stars. That said, there were a couple major issues in our time at this spa. First, the hot tub had crazy amounts of mold and dirt in it. It was extremely unsanitary and certainly not the quality you’d expect for the Waldorf Astoria. When we shared this with the receptionist there was no apology for the condition of the hot tub and she responded “well they’re shutting it down tonight.” It would have been nice to know that prior to getting in and seeing the mold. Second, we booked two 50-minute massage slots at the desk earlier in the day and were told we could select the type of service with the masseuse. We ended up doing CBD and Himalayan Salt massages which based on the advertised counter price, looked to be $230 each. When we went to check out, we were billed for two custom massages with CBD/Salt add ons for $20 more a piece. After some back and forth with the receptionist, she did not correct the bill and was adamant that advertised pricing was “starting at.” It did say that but the pricing as advertised is incredibly misleading. More importantly, the customer service was awful and provided no reasonable explanation.

Excessively expensive for mediocre massage. I was to have a full body massage asked for focus on my lower back and feet. The majority of the time was spend on my back. These are not specially experienced therapists. We had minor skin irritation and even some temporary nerve damage due to this. VERY disappointed.

Experienced a lovely 50 minute lavender full body massage by Jermaine! Excellent communication and pressure! Could literally feel the stress leaving my body. Wonderful attendants in the lounge made me feel so at ease and comfortable. Excellent amenities!

I visited the spa during my stay and it was great! The spa itself is huge, very well maintained, and clean. Samantha was my masseuse, and she was great. She listened to exactly what I was describing with back pains, and she was able to get most of the knots out of my upper back. I felt like I floated out that spa. I even got to take home the muscle relaxing balm that was used during my treatment, and it works wonders after a long day at the salon. Maria did my pedicure. She was so sweet and personable. We connected over shared careers and I really enjoyed my time with her. My polish still looks great and my feet are still smoother than ever.

Our first and last experience here. I won't recommend getting a massage at this spa, it's not worth it. The massage wasn't good, and we were misled about the pricing and services. We paid $1500 expecting a joint dip tissue massage, but were placed in separate jacuzzis. Be cautious and ensure you get the name of the person assisting you. You're paying for the hotel's name, not the quality of the massage. We were told it would be $800 for the two of us, but the final bill was over $1500, including tips. I had planned to celebrate my birthday here next month with friends, but I've changed my mind. Its a waste of money!

The BEST mani pedi I’ve ever had. Angelica was so incredible, genuinely the best “nail salon” experience I’ve ever had. I know this is a spa, not a nail salon; but, truly I felt I got so much bang for my buck. The spa is beautiful and the staff truly cares about you having a nice & relaxing experience. Honestly I would’ve been happy with a mediocre service for how nice it was, but I had truly the best mani pedi EVER. Thank you so much Angelica and the staff here I had such an amazing experience and I will 100% be coming back.

Ok hotel not top top luxury you would expect

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a salon. I scheduled an express pedicure, essentially just a quick nail polish change. Not only did they charge twice the listed amount, the polish was ruined before the night even began. For those skeptical, I have regular pedicures and there was not excess work on my feet that was done. I was in their chair for 20 minutes - tops. The technician painted my nails with globs of old nail polish. Still, on a time crunch, I sat 20 minutes in the lobby waiting for my nails to dry (as they recommended). 45 miniatures later the polish still had not set. The polish she hadn’t wiped from my skin dyed it orange.. a nightmare for open-toed shoes. I ended up having to remove the paint and re-polish them myself before my event. I left the salon feeling like someone conned into to buying a junker car.

I wanted to take a moment to shout out Maria and Cynthia for their amazing work. I wanted to also thank all of the staff at the Waldorf Astoria Spa as it was honestly one of the best experiences I've ever had. I felt so spoiled and was waited on hand and foot. My best friend and I had a great time!

We have stayed at this location many times over the last 10 years. It never fails to be amazing. Everyone, from the restaurant and bar staff, to the front desk spa and valet , are on point. Professional, accommodating and eager to please. Just an example, I called ahead for a spa service on our last visit and couldn’t get a hold of the spa. Somehow, I got connected to the concierge. She not only listened to my request, gave me the normal spa hours to call and then followed up with a return call a half hour later to tell me that the spa had had to close early that day, for some particular reason and told me there was availability for the service and day I was inquiring about and gave me a time to call back the next day to book it. We LOVE this location and can’t wait for a return trip.

Absolutely phenomenal. I don't think the pictures do it justice. A truly luxurious experience. One of my favorite things was that they have hair brushes, makeup remover, hairdryers, etc. for when you finish at the spa. Cynthia did an amazing job!

For the price point, I expected a much better massage. It was just meh for me. My gf had a different masseuse and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tomoko, the female massage therapist, is excellent and gave me a thoughtful massage that deeply considered the needs of my body. I highly recommend her! The facial was serviceable and inferior to the ones I can get at the Four Seasons or the Ritz in Orlando. The facility is disappointing. Lots of confusing unmarked doors. A minimal waiting area that doesn’t allow for couples to wait together. No outdoor space or lounging area. This spa is very good but fails to keep up with its brand competitors, Four Seasons and Ritz Carlton.

Truly stunning place to stay in Lake Buena Vista area!

Booked a surprise massage for my husband a couple weeks ago. He was very shy, but said the guys who run the lounge (Dan mark, and read) really made him feel comfortable! Michelle gives an excellent massage! So great my husband booked another appointment himself 😂 definitely worth a visit

For the price point (and due to the fact that the permanent spa was closed for renovations), it really just is not worth it at all. I've been a variety of places and so the closest comparison I would make in terms of property type is Four Seasons. The Four Seasons probably would have been better given I know they have minimum standards for spa services. When traveling, I like to get hydrafacials as that should be straightforward. The machine literally tells even the most novice person what to do. I always get 1 booster and if it is typically a decent service provider, I walk away from the experience being able to see a noticeable difference. Today I received a 50 minute hydrafacial with the britenol and my face looks no different than it did coming in, dare I say worse. Even in the most mid of places I've been, I see something but I see no change from when I woke up this morning to leaving the appointment. That is infuriating for me because I could have gone somewhere else and for almost $500, I expect it to be good. I don't even believe she used the britenol as I have never left a hydrafacial with this booster and not noticed visibly brighter skin. Nothing. I am likely to try and find another place tomorrow because this is really unacceptable. Updated 9/20/23 Went to the Four Seasons Orlando later that same day for a redo. That was a hydrafacial and it's at least $150 less (book with the woman from Ukraine). Better quality, better price and better spa amenities? Yes!. I will admit that the spa manager at Waldorf was very pleasant but I think what's going in there with the hydrafacial must be a scam based on what I experienced. There's no way I should have been able to do another one within minutes of leaving there and not had some sort of reaction if I'd really gotten one an hour before. Terrible to the point of comical.. I told my Esthetician in Miami that the Waldorf Esthetician's excuse was I "already had good skin" and we both got a good laugh at how stupid that sounded. The best skin in the world looks better after a real hydrafacial. Clown response.

From start to end, my experience at the Waldorf Astorias Spa was 5 star! My husband and I are staying next door at the Signia by Hilton, and I’m 7 months pregnant, so I was able to ask valet to cart me over to the entrance of the Waldorf so I didn’t have to make the long walk, which was really convenient! Upon arrival I was greeted at the front desk by Nicole who was exceptionally professional. She confirmed the service I had booked before taking me around the spa and explaining what amenities were available to me. The spa is so so clean, and absolutely beautiful. You can tell the staff is constantly tending to the area, refreshing towels & refreshments and keeping everything spotless. After getting robes and slippers I waited in the relaxation lounge for my massage therapist to take me to my treatment room. Jody greeted me so kindly, and took me down the elevator to the treatment room. She made sure I got the FULL 80 minute prenatal massage & let me tell you, she has hands of gold. I’ve never had anyone take such great care of my body- it was by far the best massage I’ve ever had. The aches and pains that come with pregnancy were relieved for me and I couldn’t thank her enough. She clearly knows the musculature of the human body and anatomy of a pregnant women well because this massage was phenomenal and I feel amazing afterwards. I’ve been to other fancy places even in other states and gotten massages but nothing has compared to this experience, it was worth every penny. I’m not sure what the employees are being paid but they need to be getting paid more for all of their incredible work and service here!!

From the minute you walk in to the lobby your senses get turned on. The spa was one of the best I have been too. They just did a renovation to the spa. The spa is super friendly and make you feel welcomed. Amy gave me one of the best massages I have had.

No facial is $500 good. This place is a rip off

Feb 05, 2024

The prices aren’t remotely justified by the current experience provided. It is galling that they would even keep the spa open during renovations if they were going to make such little effort to meet the very high standard their prices would reasonably command. I’m incredibly disappointed and have soured against the Waldorf Astoria brand as a whole. My service concluded 20 minutes early, was conducted in essentially an unrenovated and drab hotel room with loud noises abound and makeshift equipment, and to boot I had no access to any of the facilities one would typically be able to take advantage of before or after their service. Just thoroughly disappointed.
