Wow! We had the amazing experience of enjoying the Warm Timber portable sauna during a recent stretch of cold weather and it was simply awesome. Matt is the best - kind, professional and knowledgable. He dropped it off, showed us the basics, and we were enjoying a wood-fired sauna soon after! I highly recommend Warm Timber - they'll be at the top of my list if I'm lucky enough to build a more permanent setup.

I ordered a portable sauna; i.e., one I could disassemble and take with me if I move. I wanted it installed on my patio under a roof, even though the sauna was all weather. The guys assembled and installed it as if it was their own! Great craftsmanship. The product and the service could not have been better. In my experience, it is getting more and more difficult to find quality contractors. These folks are a huge exception!

John and his team exceeded our expectations when building our outdoor barrel sauna. They arrived ahead of their estimated start time with smiling faces and a friendly demeanor. They worked as a team, so quickly and efficiently (even pleasantly, outside in 20 degree weather). The craftsmanship, attention to detail, and finesse was so impressive; but not as impressive as the passion and integrity that John exhumes. He made our entire experience so wonderful and is so thorough on every level. He truly cares about building the best product and making sure the customer is more than satisfied. I did some internet searching, read about a lot of sauna kits & options, and was working on where a sauna might best fit in our home. Then we found “Warm Timber” and asked John to come out. John helped us consider various spots in the house, as well as outside, and was super helpful in educating us as well as finalizing the type of sauna and location that was best for us. It took some custom fitting, but the finished product looks like it was always meant to be there. John is very creative, a good communicator, an excellent craftsman, and just overall fun to work with. Would certainly recommend John and Warm Timber to anyone consider adding such a wonderful addition to their home!

John is excellent to work with and is very passionate about his work. He listened very carefully to what we were looking for and provided us with a custom design like we requested. Then offered suggestions on how to save significant money on materials while still accomplishing what we needed. He provided us with a start date which he met exactly. This sauna was part of a complete basement remodel and John worked very well with the general contractor. The quality of work, appearance of the sauna and its top temperature all exceeded our expectations. I would recommend Warm Timber to anyone looking for a sauna in their home.

My wife and I had a dream of putting a sauna in our fully finished basement. John went above and beyond throughout the design process all the way to the completion of the project. John was never more than a phone call away providing updates frequently, even amidst the covid supply chain shortages. He coordinated subcontractors for our stone work, and took responsibility for the work as if it were his own. The special request of a back-lit Himalayan salt wall was no issue for Warm Timber. We couldn't be happier with the sauna we received, and we highly recommend John and Warm Timer Saunas to all of our family and friends.

We've been using our outdoor sauna for about 2 months now and it has exceeded expectations! John and his team provided a wealth of information, excellent craftsmanship, and a fun dose of excitement about the benefits of sauna use confirmed by outside research. The cedar smells amazing and we certainly do feel healthier and more relaxed using it. We're looking forward to the winter nights. It is definitely worth investigating a sauna if you're seeking a wellness boost, and you should look no further than John and Warm Timber!

John Barbour and his team at warm timber just completed the installation of our beautiful traditional dry sauna. From beginning to end he was absolutely incredible to work with. His recommendations that we acted upon proved to be excellent advice. The installation process was most impressive and John made a few beneficial changes (added space) that I would have never even thought of. If you are considering a Sauna, I highly recommend you schedule a sit down to meet with John. I highly doubt you would select another company.

The construction was a great experience from start to finish - and the experience of having a sauna is even better! John used a unique space in our house and created the perfect fit. Having a sauna is great, and the maintenance is much less than for a hot tub or any other similar facility. It provides wonderful relaxation and down time from all of the stress of working at home during COVID-19. The planning was excellent and the workmanship was beautiful. Package saunas can't even come close. And -- don't forget to negotiate to have Brett as part of the construction crew. He made everything better!!

Wow! It's as simple as that... John and the Warm Timber team have transformed my dingy basement closet space into a world class sauna experience. Our daily routine of work, young kids, stress, etc, all fades away instantly when my wife and I step in for our evening session. Also a big plus that we can fit 7-8 people comfortably so we've become the new weekend hangout spot for our friends to kick back. The speaker hook-ups are a must have and add the perfect soundtrack as we chill. John was amazing to work with and exceeded my expectations for how a contractor is supposed compete a job. From the bid process all of the way through completion he didn't miss a single detail and covered all of my concerns as if he were building for his own home. You can really tell that he loves his work and takes lots of pride in his craftmanship. I would highly recommend John and Warm Timber Saunas to anyone looking to add the perfect relaxation spot that every home should have.

I have known John Barbour for over 30 years and saunas are his passion. I had a coal cellar in my first house, a space that was useless. However, he built my first sauna in that space and it was beautiful. I recently had a party with his mobile sauna. All my friends were able to take a sauna and shower outside right in my driveway!!! It was a hot summer day and everyone in their bathing suits enjoyed every moment. What a great beginning to a party...and trust me, when you take a sauna , cold shower, back in the sauna and cold shower again your body and mind are relaxed, skin is soft and whatever worries you had before, I can assure you, are not a concern any longer. John, your the best at saunas and wine cellars. Every detail is handled and addressed with perfection. Thank you

I would just like to personally thank John from Warm Timber for making the dream of my residential sauna a reality. I had been wanting one for years. John was extremely helpful in providing me with the information to select just the right sauna. The sauna was the perfect size for my master bedroom walk-in closet. He really fine tuned the layout. The quality of the materials was excellent. And, from design to delivery to installation John provided top quality customer service. He was available at any time to answer every silly question that I had, either by phone or by email, and he stayed with me after the purchase to provide quick and effective technical assistance when needed. I was extremely happy with how quickly it heats up. It is truly low maintenance luxury and an added benefit to your health. Twice a day, every morning and night, I just close the door and leave the world behind. Based on the quality, beauty , cost, competency, helpfulness, thoroughness and manner in which I was dealt, I don't know why anyone would buy a sauna anywhere else but from John at Warm Timer.
